I have trained my own puppies and also taken care of friends' and families' pets for years. I have .8 acres of a fenced-in yard and a neutered 1 year old Australian shepherd to play with your dog. For adult dogs, I usually let them out into my yard at least 5 times a day, or more if they need to go out or if it is a puppy or older dog. If the dog is in good health, we will go on at least one long walk in the neighborhood in the afternoon as well per day as well as playing with my dog in my yard. I have .8 acres of a fenced-in yard and a quiet neighborhood. We have a magnetic screen door so, once we make sure the dogs know how to open it, we let the dogs come in and out all day (weather permitting). I’ve had to give meds, take to the emergency vet, and have them over at my house for days in emergency situations and it’s been fine, although I prefer normal situations like walks lol! I currently work part time from home in Buford and have decided to allow myself more time to do dog walks and pet sitting, as that’s my joy!!! Our backyard is fenced in at my house, and if your yard isn’t I will be sure to use extra precautions if you have a runner! I can crate dogs and come by enough to let them out or just stay over for a few hours if needed!

Weekdays and Saturdays are preferable but I would consider a Sunday visit if necessary. Since I come to your home, your dog gets to stay in the place they feel most comfortable — no adjustment period, no unfamiliar surroundings. My goal is to keep their day as normal as possible, following the routine you've already set so they barely notice you're gone. This includes sticking to any feeding schedules or medication needs — I'm experienced with administering medicine to animals, so you can trust your pet is in capable hands even when they're not feeling their best. On walks, I keep dogs leashed at all times and stay mindful of our surroundings, avoiding interactions with strangers or unfamiliar dogs unless you've given the go-ahead. Your pup's safety is always the priority. Before your first booking, I'll ask for your vet's contact information and any emergency instructions — because being prepared ahead of time is just part of taking the job seriously. You'll never have to wonder how things are going — I send regular photo and text updates so you can see for yourself that your dog is happy and in good hands.
About: I had a Yorkshire Terrier for 12 years until 5 years ago. I took care of daily walks, meals, and potty training every day. Now I live with a cat, and I’ve also learned how to train and care for cats. As a full-time homemaker, I am able to care for dogs and cats every day. I’m available on weekdays and weekends, so feel free to reach out anytime. I have one well-trained, curious, and energetic cat. Although we don’t have a yard, we can safely take walks within the spacious grounds of our apartment complex. For the sake of my beloved cat, I keep the indoors clean and hygienic at all times.
About: I enjoy spending time with animals and have had them in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had cats, dogs, a ferret, and a bird. Currently, I have two middle-aged cats that require medication for their health needs. I find comfort in being around animals and love spending time with my own pets as well as others. About: I’ve taken care of animals (dogs, cats, donkeys, horses, and reptiles) since I was in high school. A couple years ago I started pet sitting more regularly providing in-home care. I’ve watched dogs of all ages, and can administer medicine. As a personal trainer by profession, I can handle large dogs and long walks.
