“Unity was wonderful and gave us updates and pictures with every visit. We even had a little ant problem and Unity took care of it for us. It really shows that Unity loves animals and they love her.”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life, including dogs, cats, and even chickens, which gave me a deep understanding of animal behavior and care from a young age. In recent years, I’ve personally raised and cared for my cat Skully and pittie puppy, Kora, taking on the day-to-day responsibilities that come with raising a happy, well-adjusted dog. I recently completed a puppy training program with Kora, where I learned hands-on training skills focused on basic obedience, leash walking, and positive reinforcement techniques. This experience has taught me patience, consistency, and how to adapt my approach to each dog’s unique personality and energy level. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize safety, clear communication, and creating a calm, positive experience for both pets and their owners. I work from home, which allows me to be flexible and attentive to your pet’s needs throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and extended care, and I’m free on weekends as well. My schedule allows me to provide reliable, consistent care and give pets the time and attention they deserve. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits and focus on keeping pets comfortable in their own home and neighborhood. On walks, I follow your dog’s usual routine, use positive reinforcement, and always prioritize safety. During drop-in visits, I take care of feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I’ll always send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing.

About: I am new to Rover but I was a foster for a shelter in Florida for 5 years, I have had many different types of dogs and cats. I love animals and would have a lot more if I could! I stay at home all day and I am available to care for your pet anytime. I love being around animals weather it’s playing ball or just walking. I live on 3.5 acre and have a fenced yard. I even have a fence in front yard. I like to use leashes for my little dog when I go outside due to coyotes. My dogs are in my house and can roam anywhere.
“Elizabeth was such a great person for us to hire to feed our kitties while on vacation. I never worried at all, knowing she was "in charge" and was on top of their care. i loved receiving her notes and photos and she was consistent, on time and very caring. I wouldn't hesistate to use her again.”

“Stacy was a great dog sitter ! She came when I requested and took great care of our dog ! I was not the least worried about having a stranger in our home when we were gone. I will definitely book Stacy again !”

“This is our second time using Susan when we went out of town and she did a phenomenal job taking care of our fur kids!! She is great about sending photos, keeping me updated, and even doing extra things like bringing in packages to make sure our home was taken care of while we were not there! Thank you for taking good care of my babies!!!”

“Amanda did a great job from beginning of the process through the end of helping with Sookie. She came and spent plenty of time with Sookie, taking time to make Sookie comfortable with her. I received pictures each day while I was travelling, I also received a note on how Sookie was doing. I will definitely call Amanda the next time I need another dog sitter.”
“Sariah is absolutely fantastic. She gives our pups so much love and we are always confident that she is going to take the best care of them. We couldn’t recommend Sariah more!”

“Jeremy is a life saver! My dog loves when he comes to visit her. He always goes above and beyond with her as well as bringing in packages and wheeling my trash and recycling bins into the house! Jeremy is very flexible and accommodating. I keep him on speed dial! Can't go wrong with him!!”

About: I have lived in a home with 1-2 dogs at a time for most of my life, starting when I was in preschool. Almost all of my friends and family have either dogs or cats, sometimes both, and I have also done a lot of pet sitting for them over the years. I have experience with large and small dog breeds, a few different cat breeds, and also some experience with farm animals. I do my best to stick to any routines or training, either actively ongoing or already in place, so knowing any pet’s specific command words or motions is helpful. I also have experience with almost all stages of life, other than fresh newborn baby dogs to eight weeks of age. I love animals, and treat each one under my care in any situation as if they were my own. My current schedule is fairly open as I am taking some online classes while I pivot in my career, so there is plenty of time for your fur babies to be loved on. My daily routine is fairly flexible and can be adjusted around a pet’s schedule who is under my care. My priority is the safety and care of your pet and your home. I am extremely respectful of people’s privacy and property so there would be no snooping, nor any crazy messes left behind. There would also be no one brought into your home not cleared to be there. House rules will be respected- like no dogs on the couch, no cats on the counter, don’t feed gremlins after midnight etc. I clean up after myself, bring my own food/snacks for overnights, and make sure the home is locked up tight whether or not I am there. I can care for plants as well- but need specifics as I do not have a green thumb. If your pet is used to having company almost 24/7, I will do my best to accommodate that. I am happy to sit curled up with your dog or cat and read or do my course work throughout the day/ night and have no problems co sleeping with your pet if they’re used to sleeping in bed with you. If they’re used to sleeping in their crate, that is easily doable as well.
“Excellent experience with Jeffrey. Our care need was last minute and our dog is quite shy. Jeffrey was patient and kind and we could tell from his check-ins and photos that our dog warmed up to him. So grateful for the peace of mind from his reassuring reports and photos.”

Providing pets with good company makes me so happy!! I am an attentive, caring, and trustworthy pet caregiver! I am currently working part time, which makes me available to give care to your pet! I have a sure mode of transportation to reach your pet easily! I am most available during the late afternoon/night time:) While caring for your pet in your home, I am respectful of their (and your) space! I have been trusted by many pet parents to care for their baby in their home!

I stay active and love going on walks and adventures, but also love to cuddle and hang out with the tamer/older fur babies just as much.

About: I have been around dogs most of my life, and have always been available to family and friends for pet-sitting. I have experience both with puppies and handling training as well as caring for animals with health concerns and high medication or dietary needs. I am currently completing classes online so I can complete my work from any location making it easy for me to be available for your pet as much as they need! I always am thinking about safety, especially with leash use and making sure your pet can’t make an escape. Happy to crate or accommodate any environmental needs!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Alpharetta
Working with Sakinah was a pleasure. She was easy to communicate with and I felt very safe and comfortable trusting my dog with her. Even better is I was in a pinch needing a 2pm dog walker on a Saturday and she was the only one available which was even more gold to me. She also kept me updated on the visit. I highly recommend her! Will be using her in the future!

Amari was an absolutely incredible pet sitter, and we could not be more grateful for the care she provided to our pets. From the very beginning, her communication was clear, timely, and reassuring. It was obvious that Amari genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. All of our pets were happy, relaxed, and well cared for when we returned, which speaks volumes. Amari went above and beyond by providing regular updates and photos, giving us complete peace of mind while we were away. It truly felt like our pets were being cared for as if they were her own. We would recommend Amari without hesitation to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and compassionate pet sitter. We will absolutely be booking with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Alpharetta with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
