“Carla was wonderful for our drop in visit! She arrived on time, did exactly what we discussed to take great care of my pup, and sent updates with pictures. Would definitely recommend and book again without hesitation!”

About: Every summer and winter I've taken care of pets for family friends since 2020. I've taken care of dogs and cats. I have experience giving diabetic dogs insulin shots. I love animals in every shape and form. This is my part time job, so your dog is my schedule and daily work routine. Whenever your dog needs care, that's when I'm there. When I'm at your house, my priority is to make sure the dog is nothing but happy. When it's nap time they sleep, when they are outside, I will make sure they are just taking care of their business safely.

“Joseph is a great cat sitter and my cat also likes him :) . He goes above and beyond to help with our needs and keep me updated all the time. I highly recommend him.”

“Geena was great with my dog Nayla. She is a little shy at the beginning but Geena was able to make her feel comfortable! She went potty, ate her food and put her back in the crate. Will definitely book her again and recommend for you to do it as well! ☺️”

About: I have trained my own pet by myself and my experience has improved and expanded due to the fact I use to work at a animal clinic. I know how to do more than the basic feeding and walking such as I can give you tips or give you awareness on a problem your pet had/have. I’m currently working part time and I’m on summer break from college so I have a lot of time available for walking, home visits and even boarding. I’m willing to work with you with any arrangement that will work for the both of us. I live in a apartment complex that provides two doggy parks which I take both of my pets as much as I can. I have no problem with clean pets on my Funiture and if you prefer them to be crated you will need to provide a crate. I keep both of my pets on a food and potty schedule so if you don’t have one already I will use my schedule for your pets as well.
“Kayla takes such good care of my kitty! I love reading her comments each visit, and she gets some gorgeous pictures of her. This was my second time booking Kayla and I felt really comfortable leaving my cat with her knowing she took such good care of her the first time.”

About: Growing up with a dog at home, I’ve always known how much it means to have someone you truly trust looking after your pet. As a junior in college, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your dog the attention and love they deserve. Whether it’s a daily walk or a drop-in visit, I treat every dog like my own. I’m currently working part time this summer. I have an internship that is Wednesday - Friday from 10am-4pm. I have plenty of time to take care of pups! I have a big yard that allows my dog to freely roam! There is a fence around our yard. We are surrounded by neighborhoods for walks as well!
“Sitong is very caring sitter. We were gone for 2 weeks and he took care of our cat. Our cat was absolutely happy with him. He took a good care of her. I would recommend him.”

About: Helped take care of two family dogs as I was growing up. I also helped take care of two dogs that were welcomed into my college home. I love interacting, playing with, and taking care of any animal. I am happy to help your pet and your family! I just graduated from the University of Georgia and am home for the summer. I have a part-time restaurant job, but have a lot of availability to help your pets as well. I have a large fenced in backyard available if your dog needs room to run around. I am a highly active person who is willing to go on multiple walks a day, long or short. Whatever your needs are, I will try my best to have them met!

I’m also a true cat whisperer with a natural connection to felines <3 I have over one year of professional dog and cat sitting experience and I'm excited to bring my skills to Rover. I would love the chance to spend time and get to know your pet! What You Get With Me: 24/7 WFH Supervision: I work from home full-time, which means your pet gets constant companionship, frequent potty breaks, and is never left alone for long periods. Specialized Experience: I have over a year of experience managing complex needs, including senior dog care, dogs with special needs, medication administration, and handling large breeds (I own a Great Dane and Shepherd mix!). When you book me, you aren't just paying for a sitter; you are paying for the peace of mind that comes with a reliable, professional adult managing your home and best friend. About: Hi! I have fallen in love with volunteering at the CAC shelter the past months and want to spend more time with animals 🐾 I grew up with family dogs (yorkie, maltipoo, & husky) but I currently have a mischievous tuxedo cat! I currently work remotely so as long as there’s wifi I’m good to go for weekdays and weekends! I also can take pets out or play during my breaks. I will follow any instructions given about food, walks, cat quirks, or however you want me to care for your pet. Whatever makes you and them most comfortable!
“Amy is amazing. Very flexible when I changed timing and great at communicating. My cat loved her - she is great with animals. She also got some great pictures. She made everything so easy. And gave me peace of mind while I was traveling. She is perfect!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dunwoody
Brooke has been a godsend, allowing our nervous senior dog to remain in our home while we’re away. She has been extra helpful- bringing in mail and putting our trash can at the curb without our even asking. We appreciate her prompt communication and her photos and updates. We have peace of mind knowing that our pet and our home are in good hands. Can’t recommend her highly enough!
Yiwen was amazing! Perfect communication, thorough notes were taken during our meet-and-greet before our trip, our boys were happy, safe, and healthy when we returned! She was very willing to add on taking care of our dog as well as our cat. Both required medications and she nailed it all.

Laura was extremely helpful, professional and cared for our sweet boy, Duke, with ease and no issues. She was caring, gave us informative updates and sent many pictures so we knew exactly how Duke was doing while we were away for work travel. This was the first time that Duke spent a couple of nights at home by himself so Laura made sure to arrive in the mornings earlier than her scheduled time to ensure Duke never felt forgotten. We highly recommend Laura and would book her over and over again!

Sheena is the best pet sitter we’ve worked with! She ran into a problem and she completely solved it on her own and then just sent us a message to keep us updated. Her pics of our pets are honestly NatGeo worthy and she always gives a detailed update on their health / temperament. She’s my go to!

Gabriel has came 2 consecutive weeks to care for my dog. He and Theodore hit it off quickly & he has done a great job! He sends very thorough report cards and takes some of the best pictures (he should literally be a photographer on the side). I’ve booked him for reoccurring visits & look forward to continuing to work with him!

Molly took care of my dogs when I went on a five night trip. She was very conscientious and took lots of pictures to let me know my dogs were being well taken care of. She even went above and beyond and cleaned up when they got into some mischief. If you want someone responsible and reliable, I highly recommend Molly.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Dunwoody with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
