“Summer was great with my two cats! One of my cats is very cautious when meeting new people, but with Summer he warmed up to her very quickly. Seeing them lounging and playing, gave me the added reassurance that they were happy and well taken care of.”

About: I've had a variety of pets since I was little--from a pet pig, dog, and sphinx cat-- in addition to the one I have now. Caring for these pets has given me a variety of skills to make sure your dog is safe and has fun at the same time. Whether it's dog walking, playtime, and cleaning--your dog is in good hands! I am currently a full-time student college student studying Journalism and socioy and I work a part-time internship remotely. I can try to fit my schedule around yours because I’m free most of the time! :) To care for pets, is to treat them like your best friend. When I meet a dog for the first time we are instantly best friends. With my dog-sitting, not only will your dog be in trusted hands, but they will also make a new best friend along the way!
“Erica was amazing with the kitties! Very punctual and thorough with her updates. I love the pictures she added to the Rover card. I felt great knowing she is taking care of my babies while we took a 3-day trip since I'm anxious being away from my 2 cats 😅🥰”

“Doron has been an incredible help during my recent move to the Atlanta area. Relocating can be stressful for both people and pets, and my dog was especially anxious adjusting to a new environment. From day one, Doron made the transition so much easier. He was consistently responsive and communicative, keeping me updated and giving me peace of mind while I was juggling everything that comes with a move. Most importantly, he was wonderful with my dog—by the end of her first week here, she was noticeably happier and more comfortable. I’m so grateful to have found someone so reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring. I highly recommend Doron to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker!”

Wenyi was great with Johnny! She knew exactly what to do, and Johnny was very well taken care of. She refreshed his water and food, cleaned his litter box, and made sure everything was taken care of. Johnny was in a great mood and seemed very happy when I got home. I really appreciate her taking such good care of him and would definitely recommend her!

Gabriel was absolutely amazing! I have a senior dog and things are a little more complicated because he has a tendency to mess in the house when we are away. I was so excited to come home and see a clean house! Shadow did not have one accident while we were gone. I was also worried that my indoor cat might try to escape, but Gabriel was very cautious when opening doors. I will definitely be calling Gabriel again for our next trip! I also loved that we got constant updates on how the animals were doing throughout our trip😀 It really gave me peace of mind knowing they were taken care of.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Dunwoody. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
