“Annabelle is so awesome. We have a spoiled, antisocial little girl and Annabelle continuously tries to make friends with her. She is always caring, informative and responsive. Annabelle is the best!”

About: I have had dogs and cats all of my life and cannot imagine my life without them. I have taken care of all of my neighbors pets for the past 10 years and would love to take care of yours. I have two dogs currently who always enjoy extra visitors. I have worked as a nurse for the past 26 years and when I retire I would love to make this a full time job!! Let ME love and take care of your babies!!! I am currently working part time and would be available after 4 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and all day on Wednesdays and the weekends. I have a lovely fenced in yard and two of my own babies to keep yours company. I will sit outside with them and love on them as much as they let me!!
“Brianna is fantastic. On time, every time and took such great care of our little lady. Outstanding communication and follow through. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thank you, Brianna”

“Nora was fantastic! My schedule is a little chaotic but she was patient and understanding with me. Both of my pups have their own quirks and she adapted to their needs. I would absolutely have her take care of my pups again (one is a 55lb lab/pit mix and the other is a 100lb Great Pyrenees).”

“Thank you, Brooke. Our dog enjoyed the time with you! I especially appreciate you keeping me informed about your arrival and your willingness to flex to accommodate the dog's needs. Thanks!”

“Kayla - is just the kind of spirit you’d want to watch your dog. She was kind, timely, willing to go above and beyond and made sure our puppy was right at home and on schedule. We will definitely work with her again. We know our dog loved her!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little girl and grew up with all kinds of pets. I am able to take care of dogs of all sizes and age. I am also experienced in giving medicine to pets and taking them to vet appointments! I’m currently working on rover for work so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets while you’re away! I grew up with taking care of dogs so I’m already adjusted to most animal routines. I care for pets in my friends and families home with love and patience while also making sure the dog knows who to listen to and when. I also have experience with dog training which is a hobby of mine at home!
“Kyra took care of our 3 cats over the July 4th weekend. They seemed to enjoy having her around and were well taken care of in terms of all the instructions we left for her. We will definitely have Kyra back for our next vacation!”

“Erica took such great care of my senior kitty while I was away. She spent lots of quality time with her and even (somehow magically) got her to take her medicine with a Churro. Her visits were on time and included a brief note and pictures. I'll definitely use her again.”
“Emily was great. She met with us before we left to establish a relationship and sent us pictures/video updates every time she same over. Our Cane Corso loved her and was really happy. Will definitely be using Emily again next time we need him watched!”

About: I have been around animals my entire life! Growing up, I had eight cats and two dogs. I truly believe animals are like little people and deserve the same care, attention, and love. Animals understand so much of what is happening around them, and I always strive to make every experience positive and comforting. I’m also a child behavior therapist, which has strengthened my patience, empathy, and understanding of individual needs. I am a dance and Theatre teacher, I work after school hours (2:30-8pm) and on Saturdays 9-4 however my schedule fluctuates a lot due to me being a contract worker, so I can make almost anything work! I have a camera I will be monitoring your pet on while I’m at work. The room your pet will be staying in is spacious and completely their own! It’s safe, clean, and cozy, with a bed in case your furry friend wants someone to cuddle or sleep with. I also have plenty of cat toys and dog toys to share so they can have fun and feel right at home!
“Wenyi did a wonderful job taking care of my kitty. She communicated well throughout the stay, followed all of my instructions, and gave me peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Sabrina is great with my two cats. She not only takes care of the basics but also engages and plays with them. We also had a power outage during her visit and she handled it well ensuring that all was okay at the house. I highly recommend her!”

About: I've had a variety of pets since I was little--from a pet pig, dog, and sphinx cat-- in addition to the one I have now. Caring for these pets has given me a variety of skills to make sure your dog is safe and has fun at the same time. Whether it's dog walking, playtime, and cleaning--your dog is in good hands! I am currently a full-time student at Georgia State studying Journalism and Law and I work part-time at CraveWell Cafe. However, most of my classes are online and I mostly work closing shifts so I am always free in the mornings and sometimes weekends. My schedule is pretty flexible though if you let me know when you want me to pet sit in advance! To care for pets, is to treat them like your best friend. When I meet a dog for the first time we are instantly best friends. With my dog-sitting, not only will your dog be in trusted hands, but they will also make a new best friend along the way!

About: I have cared for all types/ages of dogs and cats for over 8 years and I am a huge animal lover! I am a very active person and would love to provide long walks/exercise for dogs and am also comfortable with medication administration! I am currently in nursing school, and am available Monday mornings, every weeknight, and on weekends! I am very flexible so just let me know what you are looking for! Safety and trust are always my top priority! Although I will not be offering services in my own home, I will ensure that the environment is very thoroughly checked for safety hazards throughout my care of your pets!

About: Lifelong pet owner and current dad of two active dogs named Izzy and Julio. We love the company and are available for daycare and boarding in the Sandy Springs and East Cobb area. Our guests have free range of the house and we will go on plenty of pack walks throughout the stay or enjoy backyard time for most of the day if the weather is nice. Suffice to say your family is in great hands. I started working from home working on my business but will be full time pet sitting in the meantime. Suffice to say that I will be around most of the time to engage with your pet. My primary home is in a gated townhome community but I will be starting stays at another property with a large fenced-in backyard. I will let you know which property the stay will be at before you book.
About: Kobe, my shihtzu of 10 years, survived with a heart murmur before heart failure kicked in. I spent 6 years giving him medication and a decade fighting him to let me brush his hair and clean his paws after walks. He taught me patience and proper animal grooming! I do have a full time job and my off days vary however, I’m usually available before 3pm on most days for pet sitting & walks as well as drop in visits. Feel free to message me and we can work something out as well! I unfortunately cannot care for pets at my home due to the kids I live with, but I am open to pet sitting in your home. I will abide by your house rules & be respectful, all while still making sure your pet is well taken care of.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Sandy Springs
Tara was fantastic! She came once a day while I was on vacation and was always right on time. She sent updates and photos every visit so I never had to wonder how my cat was doing. She fed him, played with him, gave him treats, cleaned his litter, and made sure his water was topped off, basically covered everything. What really got me was how quickly he bonded with her! Seeing him so happy and engaged with her in the photos while I was away put my mind completely at ease. I'd trust her with my cat again in a heartbeat and recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who actually cares!

Brooke has been a godsend, allowing our nervous senior dog to remain in our home while we’re away. She has been extra helpful- bringing in mail and putting our trash can at the curb without our even asking. We appreciate her prompt communication and her photos and updates. We have peace of mind knowing that our pet and our home are in good hands. Can’t recommend her highly enough!
Maria was super responsive and checked in with me almost everyday while I was out on vacation to made sure my cat had everything he needed to be taken care of. She sent notes and pics, and kept the space tidy when I got back. Would totally recommend her for catsitting!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Sandy Springs. On Rover:

- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
