“Brooke has been walking our little guy whenever we need her for about 5 months now and our little Prince really enjoys his walks with her. She is very dependable and reliable. We greatly appreciate her taking care of our boy when we aren’t around.”

“Annabelle is reliable and kind! And she took our dog on a great walk, he really seemed to be excited about her! She also went above and beyond and switched out our water bowl so he had fresh water. We will definitely continue to book with her and 100% recommend.”

About: I've had a variety of pets since I was little--from a pet pig, dog, and sphinx cat-- in addition to the one I have now. Caring for these pets has given me a variety of skills to make sure your dog is safe and has fun at the same time. Whether it's dog walking, playtime, and cleaning--your dog is in good hands! I am currently a full-time student at Georgia State studying Journalism and Law and I work part-time at CraveWell Cafe. However, most of my classes are online and I mostly work closing shifts so I am always free in the mornings and sometimes weekends. My schedule is pretty flexible though if you let me know when you want me to pet sit in advance! To care for pets, is to treat them like your best friend. When I meet a dog for the first time we are instantly best friends. With my dog-sitting, not only will your dog be in trusted hands, but they will also make a new best friend along the way!
“Brianna is an amazing, caring dog walker. She has gone above and beyond in her care for my dog, she is communicative, prompt and I wouldn’t want anyone else taking care of my dog.”

“She’s great. She’s watched my animals while i was out of town a few times and she always gives me updates, sends pictures and helps me not worry about my animals while I’m gone. I highly recommend her for any of your animal care needs!”
“Trevor has been so amazing! There’s been a few instances where I needed help with last minute walks and he always manages to fit me in somehow. I appreciate his prompt responses and the care he provides to my pups. Thanks so much again Trevor! ❤️”
About: From summer 2020 to summer 2022 I lived with two dogs, a beagle and Maltese. When my roommates left for trips or even when they were in class I was always the first to volunteer to walk, feed, and play with them. I even try my best to teach them tricks. I’ve always enjoyed babysitting my roommates dogs and they always felt comfortable leaving their pups in my care. I am a grad student so my schedule during the week can be sporadic but my weekends are very much opened. Also there’s a lot of grassy areas on my campus where I can take my dogs and other dogs also and I am allowed to have dogs in my office! I have a dog park a few buildings down from my apartment for doggies to play. There are also many trails nearby that I’ve started to take my doggie and she loves them! There are many grassy areas at my school where dogs can play if the doggies happen to follow me to school! Also this is a nice area to walk your dog in. It is very peaceful and people around are very friendly to dogs.
“Exceptional Dog Sitter – Highly Recommend! If you're looking for someone who will love your dog as much as you do, hire Ashley! We hired her for an extended trip, and she was fantastic. She took care of our dog and thoroughly spoiled him. We returned to an incredibly happy pup and a home that was not only clean but fresh-smelling, with no hint of dog urine. Ashley is a true professional and a passionate animal lover. We are so thankful for the peace of mind she provided.”

I'm looking for regular pet sitting jobs, dog walking, overnight stays, and any farm animal jobs that are available. I have multiple references if needed. I've had several pets over the years and taken care of neighbors' pets, friends' pets, and people who are unable to walk or provide for their animals due to injury or sickness. I can make most schedules work since I work remotely and my job is very flexible. Taking care of multiple dogs at one time is not a problem. I am very comforting and respectful towards animals that may need time to warm up to new people. I also love to give animals that need extra attention as many cuddles as possible. I have my own dog that is extremely friendly and well behaved if boarding in my home is ever a need.

About: Five years of caring for my sister’s energetic and lovable pit bull Ace, has taught me everything from managing daily walks and feedings to handling his playful, strong-willed personality. Building a bond with Ace has deepened my understanding of creating a safe and loving environment for animals. I look forward to meeting my new furry friends! With four days off weekly, I dedicate my time to pet and house sitting, ensuring reliable and attentive pet care that fits perfectly into my schedule. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions. I provide secure care with an enclosed balcony for safe playtime and feedings. Please inform me of any dietary restrictions so I can provide appropriate treats for your pet.

About: I have had dogs for over 15 years and work from home. I typically take about 5 walks per day, letting them sniff, hangout at the dog park and a very calm home where they can look out the balcony safely if they want, kinda like a spa! I work from home, and take walks every couple hours so they will be active, socialized (we have a dog park) and cared for with calm energy in our home. Your dog will be treated as my own, always with the 3 of us :). We do literally everything together due to my flexible work schedule
About: Hi I'm Abby! I've had pets in my life every since I can remember and have loved the experience of having that furry little companion. Hope to hear from you soon! I’m available any day that is marked as available in my calendar so if you could give me at least 2 -3 days notice that’d be great! When I enter a client’s home I’m very respectful of their space and pet, while also making sure I leave it just as the way I found it.

About: Lifelong pet owner and current dad of two active dogs named Izzy and Julio. We love the company and are available for daycare and boarding in the Sandy Springs and East Cobb area. Our guests have free range of the house and we will go on plenty of pack walks throughout the stay or enjoy backyard time for most of the day if the weather is nice. Suffice to say your family is in great hands. I started working from home working on my business but will be full time pet sitting in the meantime. Suffice to say that I will be around most of the time to engage with your pet. My primary home is in a gated townhome community but I will be starting stays at another property with a large fenced-in backyard. I will let you know which property the stay will be at before you book.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sandy Springs
Chloe was absolutely wonderful with my two girls. From the start, she was kind, patient, and genuinely caring, which immediately put me at ease. One of my dogs has a very loud, seemingly aggressive bark that can be intimidating to people at first, even though she’s truly not aggressive at all. Chloe handled this like a pro—she stayed calm, confident, and gave my dog the time and space she needed to warm up. That meant a lot to me. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Chloe again and absolutely plan to use her in the future. Highly recommend!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
