About: I am a lover of animals who has always wanted one of her own, but due to roommate allergies and apartment restrictions I never have. Therefore I'm forced to love on all my friends pets. One of my best friends calls me her dog's support human, because I'm one of the only people she took a liking to immediately and loves when I come over. I grew up with cats and love how loving or temperamental they can be. If you want someone who will absolutely love on your animal like they were their own, I'm your girl. I'm available to house sit, drop ins and walks (weekends mostly or early morning / late a night needs, feedings, etc. I work by the perimeter mall and am remote on Fridays only. I do have some flexibility, but want you to be aware that M-Thu I can only commit to dogs that can go 8 hours without being let out for a break. If you are close to the perimeter mall area I can sneak home during lunch without issue. I'm currently navigating unemployment, so I have all the time in the world to help take care of your lovely pets. From early mornings to late nights, or house sitting, I'm more of a homebody that can be trusted to make sure you don't have to worry while you are away. I'm well versed in understanding the commands dogs adhere to, can help walk, crate, and make sure your pets get the time they need to expend their energy through walks and play time. I follow instructions to a t, and will keep communication open if I have any questions!
About: Hi! My name is Steffinie, and caring for animals has always been one of the greatest joys in my life. I recently lost my fur baby after 12 years together, and find being around other pets has provided a great deal of comfort. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pup in someone else's care, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to make your best friend feel as loved, comfortable, and cared for as they do at home. Every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I’ll make sure to take the time to learn what makes each one feel safe and happy. If you’d like to schedule a Meet and Greet, please reach out. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I'm currently home full time and live in a cozy, quiet apartment with no children or other pets, allowing me to provide your pup with plenty of one-on-one attention. I’ll be sure to carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, potty routines, and any special requests you have. You can expect regular photo and video updates so you'll always know your pup is happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
“Ryleigh went above and beyond with our little Chihuahua Stella. She was a great communicator and very respectful of our home. She made sure to lock up and take care of any details along the way. If she is available in the future, we will certainly be reaching out.”

About: Since I’ve been caring for dogs for some years I have become very passionate about making the pet and their parent comfortable and happy. I am attentive, honest, and your pup might be spoiled when you get them back. In my home I have a full living room open for your dog to play if they have a lot of energy or want to be alone, and your pet will have plenty of access to me if they have separation anxiety. I do have a crate in home for puppy use. I also do crate training, potty training, leash training, and I can apply or give medication to pups who may need. Thank you for considering as your sitter! I am in college, but I have a flexible schedule since I take classes online. I always update my calendar in advance and make plans accordingly. I have 1 crate I use for puppies who stay overnight. There are also two dog parks in my apartment complex for some fresh air and play time with a fence.
“Kayla is amazing!! She’s walked my Sophie a couple of times now, and every time she’s done a great job! She’s respectful of my place and Sophie, the first time Sophie was nervous and Kayla waited until she was comfortable to walk. I definitely recommend her for anyone needing a walker!!”

“Hailey has been Maya's walker for some time now and she is absolutely amazing! She has an awesome attention to detail and regard for both Maya and our home. Thank you for all that you do!”

About: Hello! My name is Jessica. I am a true animal lover, but as a pet parent I know there is more to caring for an animal than love alone. As a military veteran, I bring discipline, reliability, and 14 years of hands-on experience caring for animals in all of the ways they deserve. From training puppy’s to seniors, house sitting and daycares, to veterinary care I have a strong comprehensive knowledge of pet care. I offer a unique experience, including live viewing so you can watch your pet enjoy their playtime. My journey began working with farm animals in 2012, then quickly transitioned to specialized dog and cat care. Where I began training dogs; guiding them through basic obedience courses, hunting, as well as behavioral modification. All the while house-sitting for my clients when they have gone out of town and walking their dogs while they were away at work. My most recent work with animals is veterinary care, giving me profound knowledge on the health and wellbeing of our furry friends. I have a strong expertise in working with anxious/timid dogs by building trust and security, as well as reading animal behavior to respect boundaries and build confidence. Throughout the years I have medicated dogs of all temperaments, breeds, and stages of life allowing the dog to feel most comfortable. The variety of my experience has given me well round knowledge of what it takes to care for these important members of our families The comfort that can come with knowledgeable care is incomparable. Pet care is part of my daily routine. I currently care for animals full time, therefore I’m able to maintain a consistent routine for feeding, bathroom breaks, and activity. I currently service pets in their own homes, I offer customized care plans to perfectly fit your pets needs where your dog feels the safest.
About: I'm a Mom to a Senior Dog and understand our babies' needs at all life stages. From medication administering, lifting to avoid stairs due to mobility issues, and overall observation of your dog's comfort as well as timeliness for those much needed potty breaks. I look forward to developing a caring and consistent routine for you and your dog in your absence. I'm a Amazon Flex partner so I have a flexible schedule and I'm looking to fill the gaps with some new clients. I'm available for drop ins or weekly recurring visits. Let's discuss. I'm currently not providing care in my own home for pets due to my own however, ensuring the pet is greeted calmly upon entering to as not to startle, maintaining or scoping out the space for any nearby accidents/spills that need to be tended to, and inquire about pet entertainment before leaving such as tv programming, soft music playing, or the dog's favorite toy left in sight.
About: I used to have three cats of my own, I got my first one about 10 years ago. One of my cats has diabetes so I am used to dealing with health issues. My brother has a puppy we care for sometimes and I have house/pet sit multiple times for dogs. We recently had to put our oldest cat to sleep so I am eager to care for other cats in the grief. I currently don’t have a full time job, I have been looking to work with pets most of the time. I am available every day as I don’t have anything to do so if you need a sitter, i’m available! I like to make pets as comfortable as possible as I know it is difficult for some pets to adjust to new people. But I do think I am inclined for pets to like me because I am very used to them.

Samantha is the BEST! She’s so reliable, consistent, and wonderful with our pup. We always know she’s in great hands—and the pictures Samantha uploads are the best part! 😂 Our dog somehow looks like she’s smiling in every single one, like she’s off living her best little life. 🐶💕 We’re so lucky to have found Samantha!

Jessica was an absolute God send!!! She was beyond flexible with the time, as my schedule changed. Her patience with me was phenomenal. I was out and unable to communicate in real time and Jessica worked through that and kept Benji happy and cared for! 100/10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Kayla is amazing!! She’s walked my Sophie a couple of times now, and every time she’s done a great job! She’s respectful of my place and Sophie, the first time Sophie was nervous and Kayla waited until she was comfortable to walk. I definitely recommend her for anyone needing a walker!!

Megan was fantastic! She was a natural with our Lab and our kitties and was very attentive with details and a lovely person! We have already booked her and plan to utilize her services for our Lab and kitties! She was very communicative during the booking process and we have really enjoyed working with her and look forward to having her again and again!

Sarah was a phenomenal dog sitter! She is friendly and professional. My baby absolutely loved her. She went above and beyond my standards. This was my first trip without my dog and she was polite enough to answer all my questions, send me pictures and videos. She also played with him/spent time with him so he wouldn’t be stuck bored in the cage/house alone. She is easily 10/5 star candidate! If you’re looking for a trusted sitter , choose Sarah! (:

Carlos and Paula G were wonderful. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends. My dog loved them both. They kept me informed during their walks and they spent time with him after each walk. Thanks again for accepting my service request last minute and helping us out.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
