About: I am originally from England and now live in Marietta ! My family have always been animal lovers and I was fortunate enough to have a variety of animals growing up from dogs, cats, birds and gerbils! I currently have two cats and regularly dog sit and walk for my father-in-law who has a German Shepherd mix and an American bulldog mix! My partner is also animal crazy and was brought up basically on a farm with more animals then could ever be imagined from dogs to deers to goats. I have also helped out at dog sanctuaries in Greece and enjoy just being around animals. If you have any questions please feel free to message! I've recently just moved to the US so I have plenty of free time while I settle and I don't think there is any better way to settle in than with some animals! I have 3 dog-friendly indoor cats that mind their own business. I have a great dog park near my home I enjoy going on long walks and hikes too if your dog enjoys that! I have a crate if that is required for your pet
“We have a hectic household with 3 dogs that don’t all walk together. Tanya walked all of them great and was super amenable to all the extras we needed to make it work. We highly recommended her!”

“Rey recently started walking Castle for me a few days a week. He’s great with him! I’m busy some days, so it’s great when Castle gets some extra outside time in. We’re both lovin it!”

“Wonderful person to talk to, follows instructions well, communicates ahead of time if things come up for cancelations, and treats my dog really well. I enjoy and appreciate Jasmine so much for the love and help she offers. Thank you Jasmine you are amazing!”

About: I have been dog-sitting ever since I can remember. I am a big animal lover and I never met a dog I didn't like (or didn't like me). I will care for your pup and love them like they are my own! I have a beagle mix who LOVES to play with other dogs of any size. I have a large fenced in yard for dogs to run around and play, and we will also go on walks! Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I am so excited to meet you and your dog soon! I work from home on a more flexible schedule, so I can easily care for your dog and ensure their needs are being met while staying with me. In my home, dogs are free to roam as they wish. I have a camera so when I do step out I can still keep an eye on the dogs. Will crate or keep dogs separated if needed!

About: Big dogs or little dogs, a little anxious or hug is their personality, I've cared for them all. I'm happy to meet whatever needs you and your dog have. Long or short walks and drop in care are my specialty. I'm a stay at home dad with a beautiful 19 month old daughter. Mon-Fri I'm available to care for pets in the morning from 6am-12pm. Since I'm the primary care taker for my daughter she'll be with me on the adventures, but no need to worry she will be in her stroller for meetings and walks. We also have a pup at home and she is comfortable and safe with dogs of all kinds and needs. I have a pitbull boxer mix that I walk twice a day so I'm no stranger to walking dogs. I'm confident walking dogs of any shape, size, breed, and personality with a little instruction about how they walk. I'm also happy to perform drop in care while you're away to alleviate some stress while you're on vacation or out at a party or family gathering. I know what it's like to want to continue hanging but have a lovely dog at home. Let me take care of them so you can continue to enjoy yourself.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Marietta
Absolutely amazing!! Tonya was so wonderful with my very stubborn, large dog when I had to leave him with my elderly parents for two weeks. She took him on his nightly long walk to get his exercise and he loved her! Tonya was also so kind to my parents when she picked him up and dropped him off each evening. I was able to enjoy my trip because I knew my pup was well taken care of! I cannot say enough great things about her!

Imge was outstanding as always. Great communication and care. Went above and beyond when she discovered a sore on our dog's foot. She took pictures and let us know what was going on, treated it, and made sure or did was comfortable and exercised without aggravating it, all while checking how we wanted to handle the issue. Our dog, Pretzel, loves her and we highly recommend Imge for any dog care.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
