“Susan is wonderful! She always does a great job with my pups, and I love the picture updates she sends while I’m away. I can tell my pups really enjoy her company. 💕”

“Danielle stayed with our boys for a week over 4th of July. It was during the heat wave and our AC was having a hard time keeping up. She ensured us that the animals were cool and comfortable throughout her stay!”

“Another great day with Maria - time at the park, playing with other dogs and padding through the water. All was right with Bentley’s world. Thank you for taking such good care and keeping him so engaged!”

“Lindsey did a great job taking care of our 3 dogs while we were out of town for the weekend. They can be high maintenance at feeding times, but seemed to have done well.”

“Amanda was awesome. We have two dogs with opposite personalities and one who can be reactive. Amanda gave clear and consistent updates throughout the visit and sent great photos as well. She was able to bond with our reactive dog and keep an eye on our skiddish one. We have already rebooked her for the next trip.”

“Cindy did an excellent job keeping Peanut company while we were away and kept us updated with lots of pics. She was always responsive and I would gladly use her in the future. Highly recommend!”

“We could not recommend Rachel & Rover with more enthusiasm. Rachel was absolutely FABULOUS with our furry child, Poppins. It was a sense of release to be able to communicate with Rachel as our vacation progressed. Poppins went from hiding under the bed to comfortably sit & sleep w Rachel. She's sensitive & a little nervous. Rachel was able to build a relationship with her. Thank you for this valuable resource! Rachel is a gem-- our house was spotless, even the bed sheets & towels were laundered & changed!+ Thank you 😃”

“Carley is an outstanding dog sitter! She took fantastic care of our two big boys—walking them, playing with them, and even adjusting to their early-morning schedules with ease. She is friendly, personable, responsible, and completely reliable. While we were on vacation, she kept us updated with regular photos and messages, which gave us total peace of mind knowing our dogs were happy and well cared for. Carley truly went above and beyond, and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter. We’ll gladly hire her again anytime our boys need looking after!”

“Alexi took such great care of our 6 pets! She got a really good introduction to their personalities at our met and greet. She had learned they love to be sung to when getting their post meal treat, and she did the singing for them while taking care of them! She gave great video and photo updates. I did not once worry about their care. I will definitely use her again!”
About: I come from a family of animal lovers and I grew up fostering. I've even had a few of my own over the years. I love being active and would love to take your pets with me! I'm comfortable with all ages and sizes. I'm a timely communicator and will always make sure you and your pets feel safe! I've never met an animal that didn't like me back 🩵 I do work full time 8AM - 4:30PM but I don't have any kids yet or obligations during the week usually. Weekends are almost always open! Feel free to ask 😊 I'm OCD so I have no problem keeping your space tidy when caring for your fur babies. I do drive and have room to transport if necessary. I'm not currently available for boarding but I can travel. I will ensure that you and your pet feel safe and I will communicate if I ever have any concerns or questions.
“Joey did fantastic house sitting with our sweet girl. He was very attentive, always provided updates, and did a great job at just caring for our home as well. Would highly recommend Joey!”

“Amazing dog sitter! The first time I ever felt comfortable leaving my dogs while on vacation. My dogs lover her! She sent pictures, kept the house in order, and most importantly spoiled our dogs. Will definitely use Summer in the future!”

“Alyssa did a great job watching our pup while we were out of town for a few days. She sent us pictures everyday. She checked up on our pup as agreed, we’ll definitely ask her to watch our Little Lailah in the future.”

“Carole was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter! She stayed with our 1.5-year-old rescue puppy and our 11-year-old cat, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was friendly, reliable, and consistently sent plenty of updates and photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Carole spent quality time caring for and playing with our puppy, making sure his energy and needs were met, while also being respectful of both pets’ unique personalities and boundaries—especially important for our older cat. It was clear she truly cares about animals and takes the time to understand them individually. We would highly recommend Carole to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter, and we”

Destini was great and really helped me to have peace of mind knowing that someone was with my fur babies during my vacation. She was very thorough and detail-oriented and helped me with not only my animals but with watering plants as well! Highly recommend her!

I would highly recommend Rose! She was available for a last minute booking to sit our two dogs and stay at our home. She was quick to respond and communicate throughout the entire process. She came and did a meet and greet beforehand to ensure the dogs were comfortable with her. I have a very large cane Corso and she did great with him! She communicated and provided updates throughout the stay and left our home clean and tidey. I would absolutely recommend Rose and will book her again in the future.

Carolina was great with our dog Leo! She watched him for 10 days while we were in Europe and kept us updated daily with photos and messages. Our dog had a kidney infection unexpectedly and she made sure he took his medicine and monitored it. She was very respectful of the house and when we got home the house was cleaner than when we left! We will definitely use her again!

This is our second time using Kaylan and we were so glad she was available. She has been responsive to our requests and communicates well. She sends pictures and updates which we love! Our pup has a new BFF! Lol. I highly recommend her for house and pet sitting!

Natalie was absolutely amazing! We felt so comfortable knowing our home and pets were in such good hands while we were away. She was incredibly kind, responsible, and communicative, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. It gave us so much peace of mind being able to enjoy our time away knowing Natalie was there. She took great care of our pets and our home, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better house sitter. We would 100% recommend Natalie and will definitely be asking her to help us again in the future!

Hope was amazing with our dogs (+cat)! They absolutely adored her, and she treated them exactly as if they were her very own fur-babies. When I came home, it was like my dogs didn’t even know I was gone…and my home was in better shape than I had left it! She went above and beyond anything we could have expected, and I absolutely recommend Hope if you want the BEST care for your animals and complete peace of mind.

Marija was great as a sitter for our 3 animals, and that she was enabling the animals to be in their own home, made it so much better than in a strange place. When Peaches got so frightened by the loud firecrackers, Marija knew just how to handle it and helped Peaches to be comforted. We hope Marija will be available the next time we need a sitter , because she is the best!
John did such a wonderful job at our home watching our sweet cat Maxine! He stayed with her for two weeks while we were away. He took care of her every evening and watched over our home as well. He took great care with both. Thank you so much, John. We appreciate all you did and will use you every time. We travel from here on out!

This was our first time using Rover and I was very nervous about it. Elizabeth took good care of all our animals and sent photos and updates on all of our fur babies daily. Upon our return, our house was left in neat condition, and all our animals were content and happy.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Marietta walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Marietta maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Marietta choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Marietta. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
