“Tamera is amazing and sweet. I have never left my baby with anyone and i knew immediately during the meet and greet i could trust and rely on her. Tamera has a very positive and up beat personality that i love and goes well with dealing with the fur babies. She did an awesome job of looking after my little piranha. I will be booking her again as i have a few doctors appts coming up.”

“Michael was able to book us short notice and was incredibly responsive. He took excellent care of Rocco, followed routine, and left music on for him. He is also fluent in Spanish and great communicator. We highly recommend his services!”

About: I have lived with dogs and cats all my life! I also worked with a veterinarian clinic/doggy day care for four years, so I understand most breed’s temperaments and behaviors. I can work with all ages and most breeds, and I will happily accommodate to your pets needs. I do work full-time, but I work from home Tuesdays and Thursdays and will be available all day. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I will not be home from 8am to 4pm. I am usually available most weekends. I live in an apartment, but I have a partially fenced in yard so your pet will have easy access outside. My apartment community is very large and has plenty of walking areas, so your pet can be active and not cooped up inside all day. I do have a dog and a cat, both of which are very friendly and have no issues with other pets. I can crate your pet as well as administer medication if needed
“Joey has been an absolute joy and pleasure to work with. As someone who treats my cat as one of my own, I feel that Joey has really taken the challenge of showing her love, respect and care. He brought in my packages, asked me questions as needed and most importantly I can tell he really loves animals. I will definitely be booking him again and I’m so grateful for the relief that he brought me on my trip during the holidays.”

“Stephanie is very personal and immediately got along with both of our babies. She took such great care of our cats while we were away and gave us complete peace of mind. She made sure they were fed on schedule, kept their litter boxes clean, and spent quality time playing and giving them attention so they didn’t feel lonely. We especially appreciated the updates and photos she sent — it was clear our cats were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We will definitely be booking Stephanie again.”

“Jasmine was great! My little guy looked like he had the best time with her and I feel he was taken great care of. She’s also accommodating, working with me around my weird schedule. Thanks Jasmine, I appreciate all your help!”

“Brady was fantastic - great communication and plenty of photos of our girl! Especially appreciate the last-minute flexibility when our return home was unexpectedly delayed. 10/10! Thank you Brady!!”

About: About Me Hi! I’m Nina 🐾 I’ve been around dogs my entire life and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Growing up, my family adopted and cared for several rescue dogs of all different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, including Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Lab mixes, and Shih Tzus. That experience taught me how important patience, consistency, and individualized care are for every pet. Today, I’m a proud dog mom to my mini long-haired dachshund, Nemo, who completely stole my heart 💛 Caring for him has made me even more attentive to the little things that matter to pet parents — keeping routines consistent, providing lots of affection and supervision, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Outside of Rover, I work in professional services within the tech industry, so I’m very organized, dependable, and communicative. I also work a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to spend quality time with the pets in my care throughout the day instead of leaving them alone for long periods. My goal is always to create a calm, loving environment where your pet feels at home and where you feel confident knowing they’re being treated like family 🐶 ⸻ Experience • 10+ years of hands-on pet care experience • Experienced with rescue dogs and different temperaments • Cared for breeds including Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Lab mixes, Shih Tzus, and Dachshunds • Comfortable with puppies, small dogs, and senior dogs • Experience maintaining feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty routines, and medication instructions • Frequent photo and video updates for pet parents 📸 • Calm, patient, and attentive approach to care • Flexible hybrid work schedule allows for consistent supervision and companionship You can trust that your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, and personalized care while they’re with me 🐾 I work a flexible hybrid schedule in professional services, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding, and I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, playtime, supervision, and updates. I’m especially attentive to keeping pets on their normal routines so they feel safe, comfortable, and at home while you’re away. Your dog will be as spoiled as mine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I live in a clean, pet-friendly townhome and have experience caring for small dogs and puppies, including my mini dachshund, Nemo 🐾 I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and any preferences you provide. I always prioritize secure walks, supervised playtime, and a calm environment where pets can feel relaxed and loved. I also provide frequent photo and video updates so you can feel confident your pet is in great hands.

About: I’m active, responsible, and genuinely love spending time with dogs. I’m especially great with energetic dogs who need plenty of walks, playtime, and attention. I’m also patient and attentive to each pet’s individual routine and needs, and I’ll always treat your pet like my own! I’m currently taking a gap year before law school, and I’m looking forward to dedicating some of my time to caring for pets. I love staying active, so walks, playtime, and spending time with dogs fits well into my daily routine! I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I’m happy to follow their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions, while giving them plenty of attention and love.
About: I love both cats and dogs! I have a history of Dog sitting and cat watching for neighbors when I was growing up. My dog Sailor lived 15 years and passed away a few years ago and I miss taking care of him, now I have two cats named Juliette and Saheb. I am an ICU Nurse by profession but my desire to help others extends to 4 legged furry creatures as well! Also as a Rover customer I appreciate the comfort and reassurance having someone check in on your fur babies, so that’s why I’m here for you! I work 3 days a week but have time for visits after work on those days, other days I am free mostly the entire day. Contact me for current schedule details I am flexible! For dogs, I keep them on a leash when going outside at all times, I like to go for walks or runs depending on their energy needs. I keep a positive and fun attitude but I know how to handle energetic or larger dogs. I usually do a general check around the house to see if any accidents or throwups have occurred. I love to play and reward with treats after, if permissible. I also always refill their food and refresh water. For cats I do all the basics; refill food and refresh water, change litter box, playful interaction and treats (if allowed). I can give animals most medications just ask!
About: I’m a recently retired military veteran and lifelong animal lover with decades of personal experience caring for pets. Our family currently has four dogs, a cat, and two bearded dragons, so I’m very comfortable caring for multiple pets, different personalities, sizes, and routines. I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pets when you can’t be there. Whether they need a walk, feeding, playtime, companionship, or just someone to check in and give them some attention, I’ll treat your pets with the same patience and care I give my own. As a recently retired veteran, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for your pets. I’m available for drop-in visits and walks throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and provide dependable care while you’re away. I’ll care for your pets and home with the same respect and attention I would expect for my own. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any special routines. I’m comfortable with multiple-pet households and pets of different sizes and personalities, and I’ll provide updates so you know your pets are safe and well cared for.
About: I'm 28 years old and have grown up with animals all my life. Whether is a high-energy border collie pup, a senior dog that requires special care, or a reactive kiddo that needs patience and gentle tactics, I will support them all. I worked as a veterinary technician/assistant in SC earlier in my career where I learned the importance of animal healthcare and fear-free practices. I petsit regularly for family and friends, and I miss working so closely with animals. I am an active individual and enjoy dog walking/running if your pet requires more activity. I hope to socialize, exercise, and love on any pup, cat, or critter that comes my way! I currently work full time remotely. I have a very flexible schedule that can pivot to your pet’s needs. I exercise regularly and set time aside for playtime. I walk animals once a day with potty breaks every 3-4 hours. There are several parks nearby as well as nice walking trails. Every animal should have a balance of rest and play!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Marietta
Bryce was absolutely phenomenal with my Mastiff. From the moment we met, it was clear that he genuinely loves and understands dogs. My Mastiff is a big part of my family, and Bryce cared for him as if he were one of his own. Throughout the stay, Bryce was attentive, reliable, and incredibly compassionate. He kept me updated, made sure my dog was comfortable, well-exercised, and happy, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It's not easy trusting someone else with a giant breed, but Bryce handled everything with confidence and care. When I picked up my dog, he was relaxed, content, and clearly had been treated with love and attention the entire time. That says everything. Bryce goes above and beyond, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring dog sitter. If you're considering Bryce, don't think twice. Your dog will be in amazing hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
