“We are so grateful for the wonderful care Caylen provided for our old man. She handled his shyness with such patience and kindness, and it was clear she genuinely cared about his well being. She was extremely punctual, dependable, and consistently went above and beyond. Her communication was excellent throughout our time away, keeping us updated and giving us peace of mind that he was in great hands. We came home to a happy, well cared for dog and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️”

“Chris was absolutely wonderful with our dog and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. He was incredibly attentive, followed every direction and request we left, and truly cared for our dog like he was his own. It was obvious from the updates and the way our dog responded that he felt comfortable, happy, and loved in Chris’s care. We really appreciated Chris’s kindness, reliability, and attention to detail. Knowing our dog was in such good hands made all the difference. We’re so grateful for the care he provided and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their pet!”

About: Hi! I have been loving, raising, and training dogs since I was in middle school, including my family dog, Pipso, an Australian Shepherd mix, and 2 cats as well: Gizmo and Jelly Bean. Now, I have a 10-year-old Husky mix named Rizzo, who I love with my whole heart. I love helping dogs and cats get the love and exercise they need, and getting to help someone out at the same time! I am a voice teacher, so my availability will be limited some afternoons, but I always do my best to keep my availability accurate, and I never schedule a walk/sitting unless I am 100% available! I will also always communicate how long my work will keep me away from your pet; transparency is key! Your pet's safety is always most important to me, so I always make sure never to bite off more than I can chew, even if that means not being able to accept a sitting/walking job. I can't wait to meet your furry friends!
About: When I was 10, my family started fostering pregnant dogs and their puppies. From then on, I became a huge pet person! I have been taking care of my own family dogs, cat, and fosters since I was a child. I have 4 years of professional experience pet-sitting and house-sitting for family friends and neighbors. I walk and feed their pets, love spending time with them, and also make sure they get any medication they need. I have experience with elderly pets, puppies, deaf and blind dogs, cats, and dogs of all sizes! I am home for the summer after college, so I am available to your pets 24/7! I am perfect for housesitting and spending tons of time with your fur baby. I have plenty of experience house sitting while pet sitting. I can take care of your home (collect mail, take out trash, keep it tidy) so your pet can stay comfortable in their own environment when you’re gone.
“Lindsey was able to accommodate a last minute request to feed my reptiles while we were away. We are very thankful for her and will definitely use her again in the future if she’s available!”

About: I have a lot of experience caring for Dogs, Cats and other animals. I am comfortable caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. Book me:) I have a very flexible schedule so I am able to provide consistent attention and care to your fur babies. I am available all throughout the day and even overnight. When caring for animals in your home, I follow your instructions closely to maintain their routine. I make sure doors and crates are secure and keep your pets safe, calm and happy. I always clean up after them and myself and ensure that they are never left unattended for long periods of time.
About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the genuine love, patience, and attention I give to every pet in my care. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your furry family member, and I do my best to make both pets and owners feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I treat every animal like they are my own, paying close attention to their routine, personality, and individual needs. I am comfortable caring for pets in all stages of life, from young pets who need extra guidance, consistency, and play, to senior pets who may need a gentler approach, more patience, and a little extra support. I can help reinforce routines, provide loving companionship, and make sure your pet feels calm and secure while you are away. More than anything, I want pets to feel loved and at ease in my care. I am dependable, attentive, and kind, and I always want owners to have peace of mind knowing their pet is being cared for with real heart. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine because I only work two days a week at the hospital, which gives me plenty of flexibility and availability to provide dependable care. On my days off, I have the time and energy to focus on walks, drop in visits, playtime, feedings, and giving pets the attention they need. I enjoy having a structured routine, so making time for pet care comes naturally to me. I understand how important consistency is for animals, and I make it a priority to keep them comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. Spending time with pets is something I truly enjoy, so it feels like a rewarding part of my week. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities when caring for pets in my home or in their own home. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs so they feel safe, secure, and comfortable while in my care. I always follow feeding schedules, potty breaks, walk routines, medication instructions, and any special requests closely. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and loving environment where pets can relax, play, and receive plenty of attention. I make sure the space is safe and supervised so they feel at ease. In their own home, I know pets are often most comfortable in a familiar space, so I do everything I can to keep their normal routine consistent. I treat every client’s home with respect, keep things tidy, and make sure their pet feels loved and cared for while their family is away. My goal is always to make both pets and owners feel confident, comfortable, and at peace.
“Joey has been an absolute joy and pleasure to work with. As someone who treats my cat as one of my own, I feel that Joey has really taken the challenge of showing her love, respect and care. He brought in my packages, asked me questions as needed and most importantly I can tell he really loves animals. I will definitely be booking him again and I’m so grateful for the relief that he brought me on my trip during the holidays.”

“Ella was absolutely wonderful with our pets. Our very anxious Australian Shepherd immediately warmed up to her and was coming down stairs to greet her by the end of the visits. Highly recommended!”

About: Not only do I currently have seven dogs of my own, I’ve also breed mastiffs, and worked in the dog kennel industry since I was 15. I have grown up with dogs, my whole life, and now have a bunch of my own. I have experience with administering medication to dogs, taking care of senior dogs, and puppies. I am currently a stay at home mom with a seven year-old girl and a four year-old boy so I am at home with them and we Homeschool so our schedule stays open and I am home every day every week and here to let the dogs out every two hours minimum. I already have a rotation for my dogs, so it is quite easy for me to add another into the mix. I do crate and rotate my dogs. We have a large fenced in yard and throughout the day starting at 6 AM I start rotating groups of dogs in and out of the house all the way until 10:30 PM. I only feed and crates as I believe that is the safest option. I have 12 years of dog caring experience on top of having my own mini kennel in my home. I have a lot of experience working in a kennel and taking care of dogs that I take dog safety very seriously. I do not let Dogs run around after having water or food to prevent bloat. And I will always slowly introduce dogs in a correct manner as well as keep dogs in groups. I am also home almost all day everyday to stay with the dogs as well.
About: I have been a lifelong cat owner, along with years of experience, pet sitting, boarding, and fostering through local animal rescues. I have a flexible, work from home schedule, and am reliable, communicative, and trustworthy. I will take care of your pet like it was my own. I work from home and have a flexible work schedule Monday - Friday. Most weekends are available. Mid day drop in visits or walks are possible too. I make sure the front door is closed before leaving the house. Change the water and feed the dog if requested. Keeping the dog safe during walks is important to me.
“Ashlee was wonderful with Petey. She was willing to meet him prior to taking care of him and sent me the best pictures of him happy and healthy. I will definitely be using her again in the future!”
About: I have been an avid dog lover my entire life. I currently have a hound/pittie mix. They are my whole world. I have watched over dogs of varying age, breed, and size. You can rest assured that I will treat your baby like it was my baby. I’m also well versed in watching dog reactive pups. I work hybrid during the week- three days in office and two at home. Days in office are usually half days. Weekends are spent at home. I make sure they go out for potty breaks often and ensure they spend time outside whether it is in a backyard or taking a walk.
“Aaron was great with my dogs and communicated with me, while I was away. I will definitely be using him ,again, in the future! If you’re feeling any kind of way about someone coming into your home when you’re gone you should know I felt my home was safe and my dogs were in good hands. I’m very happy to have found him.”

About: With about a decades worth experience, I can match the never-ending energy your loved ones bring to your daily life. I adore and care for all four-legged babies! I'm currently studying as a student in Business Management with time to spare this summer! Being productive this year and living every day with intention is part of my routine, and your pet plays a major role in my active lifestyle! It's winter! Walks will be scheduled according to the weather! Being safe while having fun is my top priority. ZERO TOLERANCE for any animals with aggressive tendencies and behavior history. My safety is just as important. You must disclose any history of biting or aggression before the meet & greet. Making a trip without this information puts me at risk, and Rover does not offer protection, compensation, or coverage outside of booked services.
“Tessa was outstanding! She was quick to respond to any of my texts and messages. Every visit we got pictures of our girl and a detailed report. Tessa refilled food/water and would give our dog walks around the block. She put our minds at ease while we were away from home. We knew our Piper was in good hands.”

“Marly is so kind and loving to our fur babies. We knew they were being loved on and well taken care of when we were away. Marly is very communicative and sent lots of pics of our puppies. Definitely planning to have Marly care for our pups again!”

Charlotte was great! She kept me up to date on how Marley was doing and sent pictures throughout the visit. I really appreciated she asked if she could take her on a walk outside before doing it because Marley is not fully vaccinated. Thank you for your excellent care!

Madeline is phenomenal and I can not recommend her enough! She went above and beyond not only caring for my dogs but also for my home. While in her care, one of my dogs had a horrible upset stomach and she was so kind and caring taking care of everything. She had fantastic communication, keeping me up to date with what was going on. She provided great pictures which allowed for peace of mind. My dogs have never had a sitter before and my oldest dog doesn’t like other people too much. However, he loves Madeline and we do too!

Paola took such good care of our little boy (80lb dog) for two weeks. Partial house sitting and part drop in visits. She regularly updated us on when he was fed and walked and sent lots of photos which was much appreciated given we missed him dearly. We will definitely have her watch our pup in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Acworth with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
