About: I've taken care of animals my whole adult life but most recently my 2 senior dogs (brother and sister) passed away within 4 months of each other 💔 I miss loving on them but not ready for a full time commitment, so Rover seemed like the perfect answer! I will provide quality care for your pups and offer plenty of companionship and play time as well as walks and feeding and the normal care. It would be an honor to give your pups the attention and love they want! I work from home so they would have company almost continuously except when I'm out running errands. I have lots of dog toys and beds and blankets so they will always have a warm inviting spot to hang near me in my office while I work. Depending on your dogs needs, they will be walked and fed on their schedule and I can give meds as well if needed. We are super dog friendly in that they are allowed to roam freely and be on the furniture for snuggles if they want. If you have them crate trained then I will follow any crate rules as well. In your home, your rules apply!
“Maria & Kenneth were wonderful with our dog! They are both very kind. Bogey was well cared for, and we got lots of updates which always made our day while we were away :) Thank you!”

“Kelsey and Marcus kept my senior dog Sophia while we were out of the country for a week! Sophia is not only a senior dog, but she is also blind and has several health needs, including daily administration of medications. Kelsey and Marcus are extremely experienced with dogs and were the perfect duo for my fur baby. They kept me updated with lots of photos and consistent communication. Sophia seemed to really enjoy her time with them and was in great spirits when we returned. Highly recommend their services!”

“Here's a review you can use: Lizdalia was amazing with my doggies! She provided daily updates and pictures, which really put my mind at ease. It was clear that she genuinely cared for them, and they were so happy and well-cared for when I returned. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”
“Forrest was GREAT. My dog seemed to have some major separation anxiety during his stay, resulting in lots of accidents, but Forrest was so understanding and kind about all of it!”

“Devin was so great!! We felt so comfortable leaving our dog with her, and could tell her and her family loved on her well. We will definitely look to use her again in the future!”

“Jan, is awesome. Showed us her love and patience towards dogs and specially our own. As a healthcare provider I believe that full disclosure is a must. Jan exceded our expectations….and she updated us about our dog with pictures too…”

“Sitter: Kristine S. We were very comfortable leaving our dog at her home. Our dog seemed to settle in right away & even on the first visit to meet each other, Louie made himself at home. Kristine's price per night was very reasonable and she was very accommodating as to drop-off time & pick-up time. I liked that she was at home most of the time so our dog wasn't left alone much in a place he wasn't familiar with. I was also comfortable with the fact that Kristine was a K-9 handler at one time. I would definitely use this sitter again!”

The median cost per night for dog boarding in Acworth is $45

Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
