“Julie did an amazing job with my puppy! She was super attentive, she sent frequent updates, and made sure she knew everything my puppy would need. I highly recommend her. Great communication and she’s a super sweet person!”

“The Best! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! We are incredibly grateful for the care and compassion shown to our 18-year-old chihuahua, Ricky. It takes a special kind of person to look after a senior dog, and Kimberly did so with genuine love, understanding, and endless patience. They were attentive to Ricky's needs, gentle in their approach, and truly treated him like family. Knowing our boy was in such caring hands gave us complete peace of mind for the week we had to be out of town on business. We couldn’t recommend them more highly.”

“Great communication and patience with our anxious pup. Plenty of room for play and pictures throughout her stay. Alexandra and her family took great care of our Sadie!”

“Cristina was absolutely amazing! She proactively communicated with me daily and sent me pictures everyday (Some on his bed or on his walk). I appreciate that she could handle his special feeding needs as well. She was flexible with me changing the times for drop off and pick up. Thank you Cristina!”

“This was my first time using the Rover app. I’m not sure what I was to expect but this Yeidysis made this a great experience. She was easy to work with, very responsive in communicating with me when I wanted to check on my dog and he came home just as cheerful and playful as the day I dropped him off. I look forward to working with her again for boarding my dog. 5 stars all the way!!”

Thank you so much, Tatiana! Bolin misses youuu!”

About: I have always loved caring for pets! When my childhood dog, Rusty, passed away 11 years ago, I adopted my sweet Zazu. I grew up caring for all of the neighborhood pets and turned it into a side business a few years ago! Most of my clients have moved away or moved to working from home now though, so I am excited to make new furry (or fluffy, feathered, what have you) friends! I am currently at home all day! I can take your baby to the park, on frequent walks, etc. My full time responsibility is making sure your pup is safe, relaxed, and entertained! I live in a cozy pet-loving neighborhood with a fenced in backyard. I am happy to leave your baby in the crate or roaming free in the rare case that I am gone. My dog is sweet and mild-mannered, but also gets along with playful pups! She is shy at first and might hide for an hour or two, but she always ends up best friends with other animals! I call her the “cat whisperer” because she has a weird talent for befriending even the meanest cats!
“Tyah was very good at sending pictures and videos daily to let me know how my senior rescue dog was doing during his stay. She was making a treat for her dogs and sent me the ingredients to make sure Brinkley wasn't allergic to any of them. Tyah even sent me a video of her brushing his teeth. I appreciated her care for Brinkley, and I would use Tyah again.”

“This is the first time we have used River and Flavia was nothing short of exceptional. We usually have family members or neighbors take care of my babies but it wasn’t possible this time around. Flavia picked up my pups which was super helpful. She sent me videos of them to make sure I knew they were having fun. Flavia was understanding and willing to go the extra mile to make my pups feel at home. I will definitely be using Flavia again and I recommend her to anyone who is on the fence about using Rover to find a dog sitter! Thank you Flavia!”

“Ashli is amazing. I am so happy that I found her and she opened up her amazing home to care for my girl. Charlee was a happy camper in her amazing yard. I received pictures daily and could tell Charlee was happy and well cared for.”

Aaron and his family did a fantastic job caring for our dog. They kept us updated every day with photos and messages, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We truly appreciate the love and attention they gave him and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!

Stephanie was absolutely amazing with my cat for a whole week! I was worried he’d be scared and lonely but after only one day he was already totally comfortable with her! She sent us daily updates and pictures which was great to see and made us feel so at ease , I think he wanted to stay longer 😂😂! 10/10 recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
