“Angie was excellent! I’m so glad we found her. She sent updates everyday and was great at communicating. From the first time we met, we knew we could trust her with our Beau. Will definitely be booking Angie again! Thank you so much.”

“I feel secure as soon as I walked in their house, it was tidy but pet friendly nothing. The garden is big for any dog to have fun. I liked a lot Stuart softness and Gracie feel right away at home. During her stay I got several messages and pictures, That was great and comforting. I will certainly contacting and recommending them.”

About: I’ve had almost any animal you can think of, trust if anyone should take care of them it should be me! I’ve had big dogs, small dogs, kittens, puppies, bunnies, birds, turtles, hamsters, gerbils, and shoot even ducks. I absolutely love animals and it would be an pleasure for me to help others who need their babies taken care of. I do multiple sides jobs so I’m basically on my own schedule so anytime you need help just ask and I’ll be there in a jiffy! I have a fenced yard and two dogs of my own who are both pretty small (Yorkie and shihpoo). Our stairs are usually too big for them but over their size it’s pretty easy to go up and down. But if need I have a good amount of space to crate any pets needed as well.
“Savannah and her family took exceptional care of Braxton! I received timely daily photo updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I didn’t worry at all. Braxton seemed to get along wonderfully with their fur babies, and I will definitely book with them again!”

“My experience with Bella and Ry was excellent! The service was stellar from start to finish. My babies were well cared for, happy, and clearly received plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. Communication was great throughout their stay which put me at ease knowing they were in good hands. I even told Bella and Ry I feel like my babies were at a doggy retreat. I wouldn't hesitate to book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Thank you Bella and Ry you guys are phenomenal!”

“Michele was a fantastic host. She kept us up to date with photos, flexible for our meet and greet, and took great care of our dog. Highly recommended. Will definitely be using her again for Nala in the future.”

“Mikayla did a great job taking care of our pup. She was so sweet in every communication, gave us daily updates, and we could tell our pup was happy to stay with her. Highly recommend! Thank you!”

“Amber was amazing! Always sending us pictures so it didn’t seem we were too far away from our boy. I never felt unsafe for my boy during the entire week he was with her. If you want a caring and active sitter, please request amber! Thanks again Amber!”

“We love Elise and Bill and so does Coco. Coco had such a good time with Mango and Buster. She was so happy and relaxed when I picked her up. Such a relief to have a wonderful place to leave here when I have to travel. Their home is so dog friendly and they have the best front and back yards - I want to live there with them!”

“Tyah was very good at sending pictures and videos daily to let me know how my senior rescue dog was doing during his stay. She was making a treat for her dogs and sent me the ingredients to make sure Brinkley wasn't allergic to any of them. Tyah even sent me a video of her brushing his teeth. I appreciated her care for Brinkley, and I would use Tyah again.”

“She was amazing with my Levi, he was comfortable in her home and got along well with her dog. She kept me updated meanwhile I was on my trip and sent me Pictures which I truly appreciated. She was easy to keep in contact with and I 10/10 recommend!”

“Beverly is the best caregiver ever. She treats her guests as they were her own and is on top of every need. We are so comfortable to have our pup in Beverly’s care.”

About: I’ve always had a special place for animals , I always treat them like my own fur babies , and I always take my time to make them feel at ease with me ! I work part time , but I’ve been laid off , I’m trying to do some side errands in the mean time , and I honestly have a blast taking care of fur babies ! I have my own crate , and food , and anything a fur baby needs ! I always take my time to make sure the fur baby is comfortable and happy !
“My dog, Shug, loved her time with Lisa! I was worried because she's a rescue and has only been with us a few months. I couldn't image sending her to a kennel. Lisa was great! She took great care of Shug and even sent us some pictures!!!”

About: I have always loved dogs and I have decided that I want to be around dogs in my free time because it makes me happy! I am a soon to be retired school teacher and want to spend my time now with animals especially dogs! For the next 10 months I will be still working my teacher schedule and would like to get a head start on my next venture. I would be available for dog sitting on weekends and dog walks after 3pm during the work week and anytime over weekends. I have always had a dog growing up and very lovingly cared for my own dogs for the last 31 years. I enjoy being around all dogs. When I retire I would also like to volunteer somewhere for dogs. Again, for the next 10 months, I will still be working my teacher schedule and I will be available during the work week after 3 PM for dog walks or drop ins and during the weekend for overnights. I also would be available for some of my school breaks. I have a fenced in backyard and one dog named Lina. She is medium sized and very friendly with other dogs. I would love to love on your fur baby.
“This was the first time we left our dog with someone who wasn't family so we were a little nervous. But after meeting Morgan we felt a lot better. She took great care of our dog while we were out of town for a week. She sent updates and pictures every day and was very communicative. We will definitely be rehiring her if whenever we need care again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Acworth
Aaron and his family did a fantastic job caring for our dog. They kept us updated every day with photos and messages, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear they genuinely care about the dogs they watch, and our pup was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We truly appreciate the love and attention they gave him and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!

Kelsey and Marcus were terrific! Our dog, Calvin, is older and struggles with anxiety. He's also taking a few meds. They took such great care of him and stayed in touch with us (sent beautiful pics!). He wasn't stressed when he came home, as he has been in the past. Can't say enough good things about them!

Stephanie was absolutely amazing with my cat for a whole week! I was worried he’d be scared and lonely but after only one day he was already totally comfortable with her! She sent us daily updates and pictures which was great to see and made us feel so at ease , I think he wanted to stay longer 😂😂! 10/10 recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
