“This is our first time leaving our baby with Norma & Luke & I am confident it’ll be a long lasting one. They are kind empathetic & professional. They shared multiple pics & videos every day & listened to all our inputs very patiently.Overall couldn’t have asked for more!!”

“Michele was an excellent sitter for my 2 Shih Tzu’s. She communicated very well and gave me timely updates. She also made sure to follow all the care instructions I provided. I would recommend Michele and will be rebooking with her.”

“My dog was so happy over there. It was good to know he wasn't just sitting in a large pen all weekend. Kourtney was responsive and sent us photos. I was very happy I used the app to find her. Working with her was much easier than larger boarding facilities. I'll definitely return.”

“Estefanía and her husband were amazing in our initial first meet and greet and instantly possessed patience and a calming energy for our puppy! Throughout the boarding, Estefania sent pictures and videos and communicated very well! She’s an amazing person and was super patient and loving with our Sky!”

“Bella was GREAT!!! Easy 5 stars! We were hesitant due to never boarding our dogs before but Bella made things so easy and comfortable for all involved. Highly recommend and will for sure be using her again. Thank you Bella!!!!!”

“Our dog, Luda, had a great weekend with Amy! She kept us up-to-date on his activities, and we loved that she took him around town to the dog park and breweries. He was tired for two days after coming home :)”

“I can't say enough good things about Charlie and his wife as dog sitters! From the moment we had our initial meet-and-greet, I knew my dog, Jax, was in great hands. Jax immediately took to Charlie, which was very reassuring. While I was out of town for the weekend, I felt completely at ease knowing Jax was being well cared for. They kept me updated and treated Jax like their own. I will definitely be using their services again. Highly recommend!”
“Parker seems to have enjoyed his stay. Ok the meet and greet, he loved their home, their pup Charlie, the lovely yard and most importantly Christine & Miller. He peered out the window when we were leaving because he didn’t want to go. Parker spent most of his time with Miller and Charlie, and they all seemed comfy. Miller got many cuddles from Parker, which is awesome to see, and I picked Parker up, he was happy but not relieved. You never want your pup to run out like, “oh God you’re here! Take me home now.” If I stayed and chatted, he probably would have relaxed and played with Charlie more. It was comforting to know my guy (a senior) was safe and happy during his visit.”
“Dianne was very responsive, communicative, and kind. Our dog Lady was clearly well taken care of, and we were updated on her multiple times while we were gone. Thank you!”

“Kevonna was so sweet with my cat! She clipped her nails for me, sent photos of her and made sure she was taken care of through the Christmas holiday. We will definitely book with her again :)”

“Angela was so great with our pup! She gave updates and sent pictures and I could tell he had a lot of fun! We will absolutely be requesting Angela from now on! Communication & Availability was 10 out of 10.”

“Absolutely above and beyond... Sheilah was truly wonderful with my Karl. We did a meet and greet, which I think truly gave my dog a relaxed vibe in familiarity of the setting when I drop him for the weekend. She was very informative of how he was doing...loves my pictures of his adventures with Sheilah. I highly recommend her if you need a sitter for your furry loved one. Thank you so much for everything, Sheilah...Karl will definitely be back!”

“Nakita was absolutely great!! We were worried about leaving our small dog for such a long time because of his separation anxiety and quirky ways, but Natika was comforting, understanding and the perfect match for Bentley! She sent pictures/videos to ease our minds and captured Bentley bonding with other dogs and of him eating. We will definitely use her professional and caring services again! Thank you!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Philippa! From the moment we met, it was clear how much she genuinely cares about animals. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Tucker was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved when we returned. Reliable, communicative, and truly compassionate—we will absolutely be booking with Philippa again. Highly recommend!”

“Crystal was amazing. From the minute we arrived to her house the first time, I could tell Zoey felt right at home and warmed up to her so quickly. My dog usually gets separation anxiety and whines for a little bit when I first leave her, but that did not happen with Crystal. She gave daily updates and asked great questions to make sure I was comfortable with the care that she gave Zoey. Already booked Zoey’s next stay with Crystal!”

“This was my first time booking with Brittny and it will not be my last. She has such a sweet and calming spirit about her which I loved. I was very nervous to leave Cobi with someone but she sent photos and responded quickly when I reached out.”

“This was my first time leaving my pup with a sitter & I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Candace again. She answered all questions I had and seems to really care about the pets in her care. She did an awesome job with providing updates and photos throughout his stay. Thanks again!”

“I highly recommend Eduardo for boarding your pet! He is very accommodating and helpful. He ensured my dog was well taken care of and provided me with regularly updates and pictures. I had to go out of town on short notice and he was available for boarding.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Powder Springs
Sarah was amazingly flexible and kind. She is the first sitter I used with Rover and provided a great experience. Sarah sent pictures and answered all my questions. When I went to pick up my baby she 😩 barked at me and went back to Sarah before coming to me. THATS AMAZING!!! This speaks volumes of how much fun she had with Sarah. Definitely book with her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
