“I’m so delighted to have found Bella and fam to care for my girl Zorah. She’s a puppy with a lot of energy and she was comfortable and happy the minute she met Bella. She took her on walks, played in yard cleaning up leaves with her, took cute photos, and lots of play time. Her home is puppy proof and welcoming. Bella was available on short notice and we enjoyed her so much I’ve already made two repeat bookings to care for Zorah during upcoming events and travel this month. Highly recommend Bella to care for your furry family.”

“This was my first time using Rover it worked out great. Bryce kept me updated with pictures and text. I will be a repeat client when Walker and Dee need boarding. He walked them multiple times a day. I’m happy when my babies are happy. Thanks Bryce.”

“Megha is wonderful! Your dog gets a comfortable, happy place to stay where they are well cared for and you get peace of mind. We were nervous about leaving our Golden Retriever for the first time. But we knew from the initial meet and greet that Bunker would be in good hands. Megha has the perfect set up in her home to care for the dogs. She is focused on safety as well as knowing their routine to keep them on their schedule as much as possible. The daily updates and pictures were reassuring that our boy was doing well and having fun! We can’t recommend Megha enough!!”

“I would highly recommend Staurt & Carlie. They took great care of our Husky when we where out of town .They treated him like there own & sent daily updates (including pictures). Thanks Staurt & Carlie”

“Cindy was great! Chloe was right at home and found a new playmate in their sweet senior dog. Plenty of photos to keep us updated and at ease. Lots of play time outside! We will definitely book again and highly recommend!”

“Stephanie and her family are fantastic. My dog was so happy and relaxed. They kept me well informed with texts and pictures about our girl. We already booked them again for our next trip!”

About: The Care Takers That is primarily me. I love pets. I have a dog of my own. I became a sitter because I know how important it is to have a safe and affordable place for our furry family members to stay. I also really enjoy training dogs. I usually spend 15 min per day trying new tricks with my pups and any guest pups in the house. My partner lives with me as well. He also loves dogs. He is a vigilant food and water bowl filler upper. He's also a loyal behind-the-ears-doggy-scratcher. The Companions Lola and Quinn are my roommates. Lola is an American Cocker Spaniel who is 9 years old. Quinn is our cat that is calm and friendly. They are both friendly with small and large dogs. The Home Is located off Ridge Road in Smyrna. The house has hardwood throughout and tile in the kitchen/sunroom. Pets are allowed in all areas of the home as long as they've been house trained. We have a large crate for dogs who have been crate trained and are comfortable staying in one while we are away. Dogs are allowed on the couch as long as owners allow this type of behavior in their own home (we don't want to break any obedience training that has been established). The Outside I live in a single-family home with a large back yard. It is 75% fenced with a natural tree line and small creek on the far end. Keeping pets contained to this area is manageable but pets can be kept on leash if they’re known to be runners! There are plenty of shaded areas. There is a large and small patio that the dogs have access to. On warm days I fill up the doggy pool. For the most part, the backyard is free-range. My pets play fetch with balls, sticks, and frisbees. They are very friendly and are not protective or territorial of their food or toys. I work from home most days and am available for walks, playtime, naps, and pet specific care throughout the day. We are up and moving round early and keep a pretty steady schedule. I have a large yard fenced on three sides with a creek bordering the final side where dogs can run and have fun in a safe environment (if mom and dad approve).
“We got regular updates and photos of our puppy while we were out and it was clear he was so loved! Our sitter really put us at ease that our pup was in good hands.”

“Keleigh and Jon were awesome care givers for our older Weim. He was welcomed into their family and given excellent care and affection. Wonderful peace of mind when traveling to receive daily photos of our happy pup and hear how he is doing. Keleigh and Jon have said that Trouper was sweet and they would welcome him again in the future. Very happy news!”

“Julie once again has done a great job with our dog. She kept us updated throughout the day with status updates and pics. I’m certain we will book her services again. Thank you Julie!”

“My dog was so happy over there. It was good to know he wasn't just sitting in a large pen all weekend. Kourtney was responsive and sent us photos. I was very happy I used the app to find her. Working with her was much easier than larger boarding facilities. I'll definitely return.”

“Kylle is wonderful. I just returned from a 4-night vacation and, while I know my little buddy is happy to see me, it is obvious he misses her! From the moment she and I met during the meet n greet, I knew she would be the perfect sitter. She has a very warm and delightful personality and it is evident she genuinely loves dogs. I never worried about him. She kept me looped in everyday with great pics/videos/commentary - this allowed me to relax and enjoy my time away. Thank you, Kylle. And thank you Rover. I will not hesitate to reach out to you again and/or refer a friend. ?”

“Michele was fantastic! She took us as a last minute request after our original sitter had something come up. She was super easy to communicate and coordinate with, and she was the sweetest! She sent me plenty of updates and my boy was very well loved while he was with her!”

“Kelli was amazing. I had to leave my dog for almost a week and hate leaving him for that long but I knew he was in good hands. She sent lots of pictures and updates. We’ll definitely use her again!”

“Jeronay, was great with Bruno. Communication was excellent, from the meet and greet I knew she would be amazing with Bruno. I received pictures and updates daily. I had a worry free vacation. Thank you.”

“This was our second time leaving Taco with Kim, and she took amazing care of him! Kim truly has the perfect setup for our pup, and he loves staying over. She always sends the cutest pictures, and Taco gets along so well with her sweet dogs. He always looks like he’s just at home in his pictures! It gives us such a peace of mind to leave him with Kim, and we will definitely continue to book with Kim as she’s available! We also had our flight get cancelled on the way back, and Kim was a lifesaver and was able to extend Taco’s stay for an additional night. Thank you Kim!”

“Natalie is absolutely amazing. Cinco is always so excited whenever I drop him off and doesn’t want to leave when I pick him up. There is no greater feeling than knowing your fur baby is in good hands. If you’re looking for someone who’s going to treat your pet like their own, Natalie is the perfect person. Thank you Natalie!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Powder Springs
Serria was wonderful and took exceptional care of our baby girl. We were concerned about how Zhuri would do with other animals, especially cats, but she got along well with Serria’s two dogs and cat. Serria sent daily photos of Zhuri bonding and relaxing with her eldest dog. One picture showed Zhuri outside in her spacious, fenced yard, where they had plenty of room to run and play. It was clear Zhuri felt comfortable in her home. Serria cared for our sweet girl as if she were her own. She was kind, responsive, and made the entire experience stress-free. Zhuri was in excellent hands with someone who clearly loves animals, and we truly appreciated the care and attention she received. Highly recommend!

Sarah was amazingly flexible and kind. She is the first sitter I used with Rover and provided a great experience. Sarah sent pictures and answered all my questions. When I went to pick up my baby she 😩 barked at me and went back to Sarah before coming to me. THATS AMAZING!!! This speaks volumes of how much fun she had with Sarah. Definitely book with her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
