“I recently boarded my cat with Estefania, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She truly loves animals and cares for them as if they were her own. My cat instantly felt at home under her care, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear she goes above and beyond to make pets feel comfortable and safe. I love that she always sends me photos and videos of my baby. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable petsitter!”

“I highly recommend Morgan as a dog sitter! She sent daily updates and pictures, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Ace was able to get comfortable very quickly and seemed right at home in her care. It was clear that she treated him with kindness and attention, and I already have him booked for his next stay.”

“I would definitely book with Avia again! She was very reassuring and kind being that this was my first time having to leave my pup. She gave frequent updates and pics :) and made me feel better about leaving my pup because I knew he was in good hands :) Thank you so much Avia!!!!!”

“Kandice is the absolute best. She watched my pup for a week while I was vacationing and I’ve never felt more at ease. She sent consistent updates and pics detailing Cosmo’s day and mood. She’s great with dogs and my pup seemed to pick up some new tricks and training while with Kandice. We’ll be back for sure.”

“Amanda and her husband are so nice! They have an amazing yard. I felt comfortable leaving my girl with them. She gave me lots of updates with photos. Great sitter!”

“Candice is absolutely amazing!!! She always comes to my rescue last minute! My 2 dogs loved spending 4days at her lovely house. They had a blast playing in her puppy haven backyard and hit it off meeting and playing with new doggy friends. They also loved her bestfriend Stephanie who helped watch us! We feel so thankful we found her. They are most definitely animal lovers and genuinely care about giving your pet the BEST care. I will always use her to care for my babies.❤️”

“This was Coffee and Daisy’s first overnight stay with Rebekah. They did wonderful. Coffee had a lot of special instructions and Rebekah followed everything I asked. Her and her family was wonderful. Every time I text to check in she was quick to respond. It was a great stay!”

“Megan is awesome. She took such great care of my senior special needs cat Ginger. Her home is very calm and inviting which made my very anxious kitty feel immediately at home. I am so happy I found Megan. I highly recommend her and I will definitely use her again.”

“Angela was great! Very welcoming and was so accommodating letting us bring our baby in and get him warmed up so we felt comfortable to leave for the weekend. She was great about sending pictures and giving updates which we also really appreciated.”

“Susan is amazing and very understanding of our shy pup. Susan sends me updates and photos which really make me feel at ease. Our pup Piper always get excited when she sees Susan’s house.”

“Basil and Ozzy had a blast! From the time they arrived to the time I picked them both up, Tanisha was so loving and caring to my boys, I was afraid they’d not want to come home. They were treated with the most loving care, and adored during their stay. Basil, who is 14.5 years old now, was given special love and attention that I’m quite sure he thoroughly took full advantage of. I loved the daily updates and videos - and looked forward to seeing Ozzy, my social butterfly, romp and play with his new friends, while Basil, who would otherwise ignore all the playtime to just chill, even he engaged with all the new friends. Thank you Tanisha! Thank you for loving on my boys and providing them with such a fun and playful and loving experience that we’re looking forward to the next visit. A million stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Our 3rd time leaving our yorkie fur babies Charlie and Cooper with Jeronay She is great! She treats them as if they are hers. They are allowed free run of the house. Charlie likes to spend most of his time on the couch. I don’t want to use anyone else.”

“Great attention to detail, lovely home, extremely chill vibes and does everything they say they will do. Good text updates and highly responsive. Overall adorable family - your pup will be safe and well cared for.”
“Dianne is amazing great communication easy to talk to. She sent plenty of pictures without me even asking and most of all my dog enjoyed our stay and made a new friend along the way”

“This was my first time using Rover, so I did not really know what to expect. Glynis surpassed all of my hopes! She took such good care of Buster - sent me photos everyday, sent me updates on how he was doing, and she made sure that he enjoyed himself. I would give her 6 stars! She made sure to know and follow his routine. He is relatively new to my home, as he was a rescue and had only been with me a couple of months. From his behavior when we got home, I know he was made to feel secure and cared for while he stayed with Glynis and her family. While he was happy to see me when I returned, I doubt that he missed me, as he had such positive experiences, as did I. I highly recommend her!”

“Kim was great with Maddie! She kept me updated with pictures throughout her stay, and communication was excellent the whole time. It was clear Maddie was well cared for, and I felt completely at ease while she was with Kim. I highly recommend her!”

“They were incredible and super sweet! Astro was treated like one of their own. I received frequent updates and knew Astro was in good hands with their family. I will definitely be re-booking!😊”

“This was my first time boarding Sunday in someone’s home. I was very nervous. Forrest and Elisabeth made me feel very comfortable by asking lots of questions about how to take care of my pup and sending updates that include pictures. Sunday was anxious her first couple of days there but by pickup day, I don’t think she wanted the fun to end! We would definitely book with Forrest and Elisabeth again!”

“This was the first time we left our fur babies overnight with someone other than family members. We were quite nervous at first but Amanda was absolutely amazing! She put our minds and our hearts to ease after all the multiple pictures and videos that she sent us on a daily basis. She treated our dogs like her own and truly was concerned for there comfort while away from us. I would completely recommend anyone leaving their pets in Amanda's care. She is an outstanding pet sitter!!”

Raffeal is simply the best sitter in town. He’s extremely knowledgeable about dogs and readily available. He is the only sitter around that my dog didn’t come home sick. He practically raised my dog over the last 4 years. My dog loves him and we do too. Highly recommended!

Iyana is amazing. I’ve had her watch my reactive, 10 year old yorkie 4x now and she is always so excited to see her. Iyana makes her feel so comfortable, cuddles her like she’s her own, and sticks to her routine as requested. She was able to watch her this time with such short notice (1 day). 10/10 recommend.

Nadine is always great! My Kobe always looks happy in the pictures and when I come to get him, he acts as though he has been well taken care of. This is always a plus for me because in dealing with other sitters in the past, he has acted like something was wrong and just wanted to get out of there. I will continue to book with Nadine! She is my absolute favorite!

My senior chihuahua mix absolutely loved her stay with Langston and Moscoe. Langston has a calm demeanor that she picked up on immediately. He sent lots of photos and videos daily and a photo shoot at the end of the stay. We will definitely book a stay in the future. We are so glad to have Langston and Moscoe!

Avia is awesome!! She treated my dog as if he were own. (Lots of love) He came home with the same temperament he had before he left! He was happy and went for walks. Avia took pictures allowing us to see his progress!! He returned with all of toys and bowls clean. 10/10 Thank you Avia, Doodle’s has a safe home away from home!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
