“ONG AMANDA And her family was great with Luis. I don’t think he wanted to come home. The communication was excellent pictures conversation all day every day. I definitely would recommend her and I will be using her again.”

“Very attentive to your dog's needs and takes the time to learn your fur baby's personality. I have rebooked with Maurice to care for my dog again at the end of May.”

“Ken cared for my dog Coco for five days and agreed to do so on short notice. He provided pics and videos daily. It was obvious my Coco had a great time with his new friends, especially given the dog friendly backyard Ken has created. I had no worries that Coco was being well taken care of and will not hesitate to use Ken for his care again.”

“Shelby was absolutely wonderful with taking care of our 2 senior dogs. She updated us daily with pictures. Would definitely like to use her in the future. 5 stars. Thank you so much Shelby. ❤❤”
“Bailey had a blast with Tenisha, Eric, and Simba! He is plum tuckered out. Lots of resting complete with snoring today. We will absolutely use them again. Thank you for caring for him so well.”

“Gabrielle was a joy to work with. Her house smells and looks clean. Great communication and send updates. My boy felt so safe with her. She informed me on how he was doing during anxious moments (thunderstorms) I would book her again”

“This was our first time leaving Tank with Unique, and boy was he a happy camper! I could tell that he was doing fine, as she sent multiple videos and pics of him throughout his stay. I highly recommend Unique!”

“Lea did a great job caring for our puppy. She sent pictures everyday and made sure that he was able to slowly socialize with her own fur baby. We are already planning to use her again in the future.”

“This was my first time using Rover, so I did not really know what to expect. Glynis surpassed all of my hopes! She took such good care of Buster - sent me photos everyday, sent me updates on how he was doing, and she made sure that he enjoyed himself. I would give her 6 stars! She made sure to know and follow his routine. He is relatively new to my home, as he was a rescue and had only been with me a couple of months. From his behavior when we got home, I know he was made to feel secure and cared for while he stayed with Glynis and her family. While he was happy to see me when I returned, I doubt that he missed me, as he had such positive experiences, as did I. I highly recommend her!”

“Michele was absolutely amazing as our sitter. From the beginning, she was responsive, professional, and very kind. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away.”

“Nick was really responsive and flexible with pickup and drop off times. Our pups seem well-cared for and they made themselves right at home. I love that Nick has a little yard for them to play in off-leash but that they also got walks. They came home happy and tired!”

“Daniela was amazing! She sent pictures and kept us updated on our dog’s adventure with her and her dog while we were away. I had no doubt that Frankie was well taken care of while we were on vacation. We will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a more personal experience for their dog while out of town!”

“Left my baby here and everything went fine. My baby gets seizures from time to time so its important she stays in a home where the sitter can take care of her during and after them and Anais did a wonderful job taking care of her during and after she experienced on even on medication. Would recommend and book again. Thank you ✨”

“I just want to start by saying if you want top of the line pet care these are the people to book with. This was my first time EVER leaving my pups with anyone none family related. From the start Audrey made me feel so comfortable knowing my precious pups would be in good hands. I received pictures and videos throughout the day. With great communication via text. To know I found such wonderful people to care for my babies I will definitely book again soon. Thanks again ❤️.”
“I have so many nice things to say about Kelly and her husband. I think my Cornelia had the time of her life at their home. She was loved on and cared for in Ritz Carlton fashion. I’m so glad I booked with these folks and will absolutely book again with them.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Douglasville
This was our first time booking all 3 (yes THREE) dogs with a Rover. Usually its one or two, so my husband and I were a bit hesitant and worried that we'd be overwhelming the Rover we would go with. After meeting Langston and Moscoe, we both felt confident that our pups would be in good hands. Langston was very sweet and communicative while Roscoe was very welcoming. Looking forward to booking with them again!

Avia is awesome!! She treated my dog as if he were own. (Lots of love) He came home with the same temperament he had before he left! He was happy and went for walks. Avia took pictures allowing us to see his progress!! He returned with all of toys and bowls clean. 10/10 Thank you Avia, Doodle’s has a safe home away from home!!

She was amazing!!!!!! Like over the moon amazing! She treated my dog like he was her own. She made sure to send me constant pictures of him unprompted which helped me less worry. She made sure to take him on 3 WALKS in one day and even gave him a walk before she handed him off. I forgot to bring dog food and she made to have all of it. She was very thorough in instructions ex. My dog drinks water after every walk (usually) and he didn’t drink water after one of them. She made sure to text me right after and let me know. I was happy she told me and was happy she even told me what was going on even though it was something so light. She was so personable and you could tell she had a lot of heart for other dogs and her dog Hershey. I would recommend her over and over again! She is AMAZING.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
