“Crystal was PHENOMENAL! She was easy to communicate with, she was allowed us to adjust drop off times and sent us plenty of pictures and videos. Duke didn’t want to leave when we went to pick him up so it’s safe to say he had a blast! Will most definitely be using Crystal again”

“Very loving and caring to my fur baby Diamond. She sent me pictures and videos of Diamond while I was gone, which made me feel happy. She followed the rountine. Definitely would rebook and recommend! 😊”

“Rudy loved staying with Nicholas, and Nicholas took such excellent care of him. Rudy is a little quirky, but Nicholas was so patient and loving towards him. He cannot wait to go back!”

“Gracie was so well taken care of! They kept in communication daily. I cannot wait to take her back. She came back happy and exhausted from her vacation! I would absolutely recommend Lizdalia to take care of your pet anytime! She treated Gracie as if she were her own family and Gracie loved her. Could not ask for a better sitter. I promise you will be very pleased! Thank you so much for being there for us. We are blessed we found you!”

“Nala was right at home her first visit at Eden's. I was not worried at all the whole time I was out of town. Eden sent pictures and I knew Nala was well taken care of. Her new home away from home.”

“Kandice is the absolute best. She watched my pup for a week while I was vacationing and I’ve never felt more at ease. She sent consistent updates and pics detailing Cosmo’s day and mood. She’s great with dogs and my pup seemed to pick up some new tricks and training while with Kandice. We’ll be back for sure.”

“Tammie was so kind and considerate with our older pup. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and enjoyed his stay. Grateful for the care she provided and look forward to using her as a pet sitter in the future.”

“Gabby took great care of my little guy Remy for the weekend! She walked him, played with him, and sent videos every day. I will definitely be reaching back out to her to watch my little guy in the future. Thank you Gabby!”

“Jeronay, was great with Bruno. Communication was excellent, from the meet and greet I knew she would be amazing with Bruno. I received pictures and updates daily. I had a worry free vacation. Thank you.”

“Cindy was amazing! She accommodated a last minute Meet & Greet and a stay for the long weekend for a much needed getaway. This was our senior dog's first stay after a new diagnosis 2 months beforehand. I appreciated Cindy's care in taking notes and asking good questions. She was so thoughtful and sent pictures of him throughout the day that reassured me that he was settling in. I appreciate how caring Cindy was for my little man and will definitely use her again.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lori and the care she has given my puppy, Frankie. From the moment I dropped him off, she made me feel completely comfortable and reassured that he was in great hands. She kept me updated daily with messages and pictures of his activities, and it was clear that Frankie was happy, relaxed, and truly enjoying himself — he looked like he was right at home. What meant the most to me was her kindness and flexibility during a very stressful time for me. I am currently in the hospital recovering from back surgery, and at the last minute my doctor told me I needed to stay another night. I reached out to Lori hoping it wouldn’t be a problem, and she immediately reassured me not to worry and that Frankie was perfectly fine staying another night. That simple kindness gave me so much peace of mind while I’m here recovering. Lori has been so attentive and loving with him — honestly, she spoiled him! It means the world to know that Frankie is being cared for and shown the same love and attention that I give him at home. I am incredibly grateful for Lori. Frankie absolutely has a permanent sitter whenever we need one in the future, and I would recommend her to anyone who wants their pet cared for like family.”

“Norma and Luke were very friendly and actually enjoyed the company of our dog. Our dog can sometimes refuse to eat when we are gone (or just when they want to be difficult) and they just reached out to us and we discussed giving him extra snacks until he got his meal appetite back which seemed to be fairly quickly. We got many pictures of our dog comfortable and enjoying himself. I would definitely book again.”

“Such a good sitter for my big pup! She was an immediate responder especially when I had her for an emergency rover sit. Its so obvious she cares so much about all of the dogs. Will be using her again!!”

“Parker seems to have enjoyed his stay. Ok the meet and greet, he loved their home, their pup Charlie, the lovely yard and most importantly Christine & Miller. He peered out the window when we were leaving because he didn’t want to go. Parker spent most of his time with Miller and Charlie, and they all seemed comfy. Miller got many cuddles from Parker, which is awesome to see, and I picked Parker up, he was happy but not relieved. You never want your pup to run out like, “oh God you’re here! Take me home now.” If I stayed and chatted, he probably would have relaxed and played with Charlie more. It was comforting to know my guy (a senior) was safe and happy during his visit.”
“Absolutely above and beyond... Sheilah was truly wonderful with my Karl. We did a meet and greet, which I think truly gave my dog a relaxed vibe in familiarity of the setting when I drop him for the weekend. She was very informative of how he was doing...loves my pictures of his adventures with Sheilah. I highly recommend her if you need a sitter for your furry loved one. Thank you so much for everything, Sheilah...Karl will definitely be back!”

Amanda is the person you would want to care for your fur baby! She is very caring and has a passionate spirit. She's very responsive keeping you updated on plenty of photos and videos. Peppa enjoyed the walks. Peppa also enjoyed playing with her kids and small dog. She made the transition smoothly and was for us. I felt comfortable and at ease with her as this is my first pet.

Unique is hands down the BEST!!! We’ve booked with her twice and at this point she’s our go to every time we go on vacation! Her communication is top tier, very flexible with drop off/pick up, she keeps you updated with pictures and videos the whole time. My Teddy gets so much love, cuddles, and plenty of outside time. She truly treats him like her own and it shows. I never have to worry when he’s with her. 10/10 isn’t even enough, highly recommend!!! She’s consistent, reliable, and just overall amazing. -Courtney,Dominique & Teddy thank you!

Ken and Sam were great boarders and sitters. They sent us daily videos and photos and updated us on the behavior of our dogs. Their place is very conducive to dogs with a complete turf, fenced in yard with plenty of dog toys and agility obstacles. Will definitely keep them on our list of preferred care givers.

Sarah was amazingly flexible and kind. She is the first sitter I used with Rover and provided a great experience. Sarah sent pictures and answered all my questions. When I went to pick up my baby she 😩 barked at me and went back to Sarah before coming to me. THATS AMAZING!!! This speaks volumes of how much fun she had with Sarah. Definitely book with her!

My dog was so happy over there. It was good to know he wasn't just sitting in a large pen all weekend. Kourtney was responsive and sent us photos. I was very happy I used the app to find her. Working with her was much easier than larger boarding facilities. I'll definitely return.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
