“Raniyah is fantastic! Daisy took to her immediately. Raniyah provided great updates. I requested an extra drop in while we were out of town and she accommodated us with no problem. Thanks Raniyah!”

“We had another wonderful sitter visit from Linque! She's truly our trusted Rover sitter. We always feel at ease knowing she’ll take such great care of our adorable cats while we're away. This visit, she needed to give medications, and she handled it perfectly. Our girls have really warmed up to her, and when a small issue came up, she went above and beyond to sort everything out with a cheerful attitude. I wholeheartedly recommend her and have even told our neighbors about her. Thanks so much for being AMAZING, Linque!”

“Amanda is doing a great job for us thus far! We have two large dogs who can be high-energy until they get used to you. Amanda has handled them very well, been super communicative, and very easy to work with. We look forward to using her for ongoing drop-ins!”

“Miranda was excellent. She took care of our senior cat for a week and was very professional and loving with her. We came home to a happy cat! I also appreciate that her arrival times each day were consistent and in line with the times we requested. Will definitely request Miranda for future trips!”

“She is amazing! Thank you so much Cindy! Took care of my kitty so well. She kept me updated, sending me so many pictures. Cindy is professional and always on time. Highly recommend 👍🏻🤍”

“We had a great experience with Shelby and are so glad to have come across her on Rover! Shelby was kind, responsible, punctual and communicated well in meeting and setting up our appointment in advance. Above all she was friendly, caring and calm with our beloved Cavachon. She made stops to feed and walk her while we had a long day trip. It was such peace of mind to know our dog was in good hands! We hope to have her again soon.”

“Estefania gives us so much peace of mind when we are out of town! Our dog loves her so much! She sends so many great videos and pictures, goes above and beyond to make sure our dog is comfortable and happy, and treats him like her own pet! Thank you so much!!!! Highly recommend!!!”

About: Since I was a teenager I have been taking care of dogs from friends and family. I will take care of your dog like if it was mine 🥰. I enjoy taking dogs for a walk. I'm currently working from home and I have breaks through the day where I can play or take your dog for a walk. I live close to nice parks. I don't have any pets at home so your dog will be my special guest 😊 I make sure they have plenty food and water and check on him/her if they need to go outside to handle some business 😉

“Hunter loves Emersyn! He’s usually pretty shy and really came out of his shell with her, even bringing her toys and playing on her drop ins! Our new favorite dog walker :)”

About: Hello and welcome! I'm Heather, but I go by Xel (pronounced •zel•) and it's nice to meet you! I have owned more dogs and cats (as well as a ferret, lizard, fish, and a spider and have handled various others) than I can count through the years (I'm almost 40 and we've had a LOT!). Everything from domestic shorthair to Bengal-mix and Schnauzers to German Shepherds. I have house-sat for both friends and family for many years (short and extended!) and I have administered medicine in pill form, as well as inhaler (would be willing to learn injections if necessary). Our oldest cats have lived 18 years, and I currently own four cats (all rescues, aged 2 to 16). Our oldest dogs have lived 15+ I believe, but it's been a long time since owning one (my parents are disabled). I have done a bit of training with dogs and cats alike, but I am not a professional. I'm HIGHLY flexible, so if you would like to know more, feel free to reach out! If you've made it this far, have a lovely day! ♡ I'm available at a moments' notice the majority of the time! This includes overnights, emergencies, and short/extended stays. As long as there is clear communication, I'll do my best to aid in any situation, even if it's within the hour! ♡ For our own cats, our oldest, Max, has to be fed separately from the others, as he needs a higher calorie diet than the others. All of the cats are treated with flea medication and I clean multiple litter boxes several times a week. For friends and family, I have had feeding schedules for both dogs and cats, ranging from custom mixed and weighed portions to simply making sure the auto-feeders/fountains are kept clean and filled. My best friend's dog gets playtime and outside time (he has a runner and a ton of toys to play fetch with). My Aunt's cat would need constant watch, as he needed an inhaler if he walked too far or his anxiety flared. I'm also open to doing light chores, so feel free to reach out with any and all questions! Thank you for your consideration! ♡
About: Hello, my name is Asia! I have always loved taking care of local pets for neighbors in Jersey, and I want to continue that here in Atlanta! I specialize in playtime and engaging in pet activities as well as minimal training of your choice! I also provide toys! I do provide food and treats and if you would like me to get a specific brand for my future furry client, let me know! If your pet is an "outsidie", then that's a plus because I love walks at the local parks! I also have a gated backyard and patio! I cannot wait to meet the little ones and the owners! I did graduate last year so I do have more time! I do work at a Wingstop about 10 minutes away, partime! So less than 35 hours a week I do work about 2-5 days a week. I am mostly off on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays but I do have a caring and animal experienced mom and sister who loves animals and is willing to take part while I'm gone. I do live in a neighborhood community who absolutely loves pets. We do not have a doggy playground unfortunately but I do travel other places to have outside time with the pets. Every pet here is made sure to be friendly, no aggressive breeds out here. I live in a three bedroom house.

About: I've been caring for pets for over 10 years — dogs and cats belonging to friends and family who trust me completely, and that trust means everything to me. What makes my care different is that it's never one-size-fits-all. If your dog lives for walks, we walk. If they're all about the ball, we play. If they just want to curl up next to someone, I'm right there. Every pet gets care shaped around who they are, not a standard routine. My home is child-free and pet-free, so your baby isn't competing for attention — they are the focus of my entire day. And when you pick them up? They'll be freshly bathed, happy, and ready to go home. Baths are always on me. PLEASE NOTE: I can board up to 4 pets from the same family at one time, as the pets all know each other. I do not take multiple pets from different families to board at the same time. It's often stressful for the animals and I don't get to enjoy your pet if he is stressed out by strange animals. My home is child-free and animal-free, which means your pet gets a calm, quiet environment with zero stress from other animals and no chaotic energy. They are the sole focus of my day. IMPORTANT: I only take pets from one family at a time. I want to enjoy your dog. For dogs: I follow your routine to the letter — feeding times, walk schedule, medications, treats, favorite spots. I ease new guests in gently because I know the first few hours matter most. If your dog loves walks, we walk. If they're a ball dog, we play. They get care shaped around who they are, not a generic routine. Every dog goes home with a complimentary bath so they're clean, happy, and ready to see you. For cats: I understand cats aren't small dogs — they need something completely different. I give them a safe, quiet space to settle in at their own pace, no forcing interaction. I read their cues — whether they want lap time, window watching, or just a calm human nearby. Litter box hygiene is spotless and non-negotiable. I'm very careful about doors, windows, and escape points so your indoor cat stays safely indoors. For all pets: I monitor eating and behavior closely and flag anything off straight away. You'll get regular photo and video updates — as many or as few as you'd like. I've been caring for pets for over 10 years for people who trust me like family, and I take that trust seriously. My goal is simple: your baby comes home calm, happy, and exactly themselves. I do have a fenced yard but do not allow dogs to go out alone unsupervised. I enjoy walking dogs and will keep the routine that you have with your dog. I only take cats and dogs at the same time from the same family. I will always confirm any animal is up to date with vaccines and flea treatments first.

“Valeria did a great job dropping by our home to visit our dog while we were away for the weekend. She showed to to every visit on time and took good care of of her.”

“couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Chrishtian! He took amazing care of my dog son, Kobalt, while I was away on vacation. He was incredibly attentive, followed every instruction perfectly, and made sure Kobalt felt loved and comfortable the entire time. It was clear that Kobalt truly enjoyed his care and affection which gave me so much peace of mind while traveling. I’m extremely grateful for his dedication and will definitely be booking with him again! Highly recommend!”

“Kaitlyn went above and beyond taking care of Robbie. I felt comfortable knowing that she was taking care of him. I cannot recommend her enough and we will definitely use her in the future.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Austell. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
