“Ken and Sam have been the best! Papa loves going to “school” and I feel so reassured when I drop him off. He comes home tired, happy, and in a great mood. Can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of Papa!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have always had a great balance of care, patience, and love to encourage positive reinforcement. All of my friends considered me their pets auntie because of the kind of care I give :) I’m a remote software engineer so I’m home a lot to be attentive. If I’m boarding I only board maximum 2 dogs so they are always top priority. I get acquainted quick! I tend to work on the couch or desk if one provided and abide by potty/feeding schedules as needed! If pups are more active, I’ll be sure to talk them on walks, a hike possibly, or the dog park is desired
“Daniela is awesome! She and her dog, Rocky, are so much fun for my high-energy pup. We needed to find a regular sitter during the day after I returned to the office full-time, and it's so nice having peace of mind that she is well taken care of. Maple comes home tired and happy!”

“Kaos looks so happy in the photos. She even took him for a walk. He was a tired happy boy when I picked him up. Thank you so much for taking great care of my baby boy!”

“Terry is truly the best! I am from East Tn and completely rearrange/adapt my plans in Atlanta so that my dog can be with Terry. I feel that’s my puppy is so safe and beyond loved while she is in her care. I only wish I could use Terry in TN! She provides the best care and we absolutely love her!!”

“Effie and Dre are the absolute best. They take such good care of Indy! I think he thinks he lives with them now!! Highly recommend them for boarding and day care.”

“I absolutely love Aubrey. I found her here thanks to Rover, read her profile and knew she’d be perfect for my pup with her experience with the boxer breed. I had a last minute emergency and needed boarding as soon as possible, luckily Aubrey was ready and willing. Though I needed her services longer than anticipated, she was there through it all. She had my pup for about a week and took such great care of him. I’ll be calling Aubrey as long as her services are available, my boxer Rolo adores her and her family of boxers.”
About: I have cared for dogs and cats since I was eight years old, and learned how to train dogs as a teenager. I grew up on a horse farm with multiple dogs and cats, which taught me the skills needed to care for animals. I regularly house sit for family, friends, and neighbors and now I'm expanding into my own business. I'm available most days of the week, mornings and afternoons as well as weekends. I'm flexible, so I can help walk your dogs when you need. I live in a house with a fenced-in backyard. I have two dogs and two cats, though they will stay upstairs while guest pets will stay downstairs. I can house sit at your home or take your dogs for walks around your neighborhood.
“I am so glad that we found her!!! She is so sweet, kind, soft-spoken, caring, and just the type of person who anyone should feel content to leave their fur-baby with. Her children are very involved with the dogs are they are the most well-behaved kids who know how to treat dogs and how to interact with them. We have been doing daycare with Shelby and her family and I honestly cannot say enough good things about them. My pups have a great time and have been coming home exhausted. A tired pup is a happy pup! I highly recommend!”

About: I was a dog mom to the sweetest toy poodle Blossom for 8 years. She recently passed away and my heart is open to love and care for others in her place. Safe, nurturing home away from home for your pup. I currently work from home full-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play and care for your pup! My schedule availability is open most days and times needed. I have a private yard, thats's half fenced. We'll have plenty of potty breaks. Your pet will have one-on-one care with up to two other pets if booked. All dogs will be the same size and temperament.
“Ollie had another GREAT day with Tifani. I am very happy with the level of care and attention provided. Tifani is very responsive to messages and pleasant to talk to. I highly recommend Tifani, because she truly loves fur-babies!!”
“Absolutely incredible experience! Kai has a lot of anxiety with strangers but he embraced Martha and her family. I’m very pleased and overjoyed that he was so happy and I will definitely use Martha again!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and currently have 2 doodles! George(male)a 2.5yo Bernedoodle and Zack(female) 11yo Labradoodle. We also have 2 human kids 12yo boy and 17yo boy. We have a huge fenced in yard with lots of room for running and play! We all love our furry friends in this house and welcome yours to come for a play day! I am a stay at home mom with both kids in school, so I have plenty of time for walks around the neighborhood and watching your fur baby in my big fenced in yard! My two friendly doodles would love to keep your fur baby company and play outside as much or little as they would like. Zack (11yo doodle) is a little lazy obviously, but George (2.5yo doodle) has lots of energy and loves to play! My doodles do not sleep in crates or in or our beds, they sleep just wherever they find their comfy spot for the night. I do have a crate for your fur baby to sleep in for the night though if that is what they are used to. But no bed sleeping available.

About: My husband and I absolutely love dogs! I worked in a vet during my four years of college so I have an advantage over most sitters. We are basically both easy going with me being more of the nurturing one and my hubs is the playmate. We have two dogs who get along well with other canines. My husband and I are home almost all of the time. We provide a calm and kind atmosphere for your fur baby/babies. Please reach out as much or as little as you like. We very much enjoy meeting and learning new dogs. I feel like my greatest quality is observation. I love learning about your baby and what his/her needs are. For boarding it’s important to me that your pet feels safe and relaxed. I’ll do whatever it requires to reach that. I’m fine with boarding or house sitting. I have had plenty of experience with house sitting (5-10 years) in middle and high school for my baby sitting jobs.
“Stella was excellent! You can easily see her passion and love for dogs. My dog immediately went to sleep as soon as we got home so I know she had tons of fun! Stella sent plenty of pictures and was easily accessible. I will definitely use her again in the future!”

“I dropped my 4 month old Frenchie, Pumbaa, off for his first day it feels like months ago now. I was so nervous to leave him in anyone else’s care, however as soon as I met Kimberly my nervousness immediately subsided. I can’t say enough about Kimberly and her care. This isn’t just a “daycare” but an experience. She has helped my pup with so many things including socialization with other dogs, discipline - the list goes on and on. Kimberly frequently provides updates throughout the day on how my pup is doing. I couldn’t ask for any more and can’t thank Kimberly enough for all of the work she has done with Pumbaa. I take Pumbaa weekly now and it is the highlight of his week - I don’t know who loves it more...him or I. If you are nervous about taking your dog to just anywhere and are looking for A++ service Kimberly is your person - hands down!”
The median cost per day for doggy day care in Austell is $35
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Austell
Our dog Bronco had a great time at daycare while we explored some places in the area that weren’t dog friendly. I enjoyed getting lots of videos and pictures of him while we were out and about. The outdoor area was wonderful for him to run around and stretch his legs! Thank you!!

Lakkia was wonderful!!! This was my first time using a dog sitter. She kept me updated on how he was doing throughout the day and even sent pictures of him playing with other dogs there. If I ever need a sitter again, I will definitely be reaching out to Lakkia!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
