“My dog Paris seemed very happy in Ms Lori P.’s care. She shared a picture and gave me updates. She also was quick to ask me questions about Paris’ behaviors. I really appreciate her doing that.”

“This was my first time using the Rover app. I’m not sure what I was to expect but this Yeidysis made this a great experience. She was easy to work with, very responsive in communicating with me when I wanted to check on my dog and he came home just as cheerful and playful as the day I dropped him off. I look forward to working with her again for boarding my dog. 5 stars all the way!!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As a past dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring. I provide regular updates, photos, and plenty of love so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I currently work 3 nights a week and make plenty of time for walks and play time. I live on my own and provide a safe, quiet home environment. I have no pets in my apartment. The complex does provide a spacious dog park and the silver comet trail with plenty of safe walking space.
“Elisabeth R was excellent! She cared for my boys with love and excellence. She sent me updates daily. She is so easy to communicate with through their stay. You won’t regret booking with her.”

“She is the absolute best and always loves on our big boy Oreo. He’s always so happy to visit and enjoys all the time! She is great about providing updates. Will always recommend!”

“Terry was the ultimate sitter! She took excellent care of our dog Orion and sent pictures everyday that I was away. The next time I need a sitter I will be sure to reach out to Terry!”

“I can't say enough good things about Kevonna! They were incredibly accommodating with my last-minute schedule changes and sent photo updates throughout the day. My puppy can be anxious with new people, but she was completely at ease and actually looked disappointed when I came to pick her up! Kevonna clearly treated her like their own dog—they even took the best photos of our puppy that we've seen! Their home was clean, secure, and set up perfectly for dogs. Will definitely book again!”

“This was Shadow's first stay with Gabrielle and she was great at communicating and it was awesome to see that Shadow seemed to have a good time and she got the attention we hoped she would get!”

“Megan was so wonderful! She gave regular updates and loved my pup like her own. She handled my high anxiety pup with ease and had no issues giving him his daily meds. It was such a relief to know he was in good hands! I’m excited to have found a new pet sitter for all our travel needs because we will definitely be back!”

“Amanda was very accommodating and made sure my dog was well taken care of in my absence. I really appreciated that she was great at communicating with me on a daily dasis with updates and pictures. I would recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a great pet sitter.”

“They were strangers and then became besties. Amazing service. Cali and her and her kids got along so well, communicated well on updates. Using her again in a few weeks. I know Cali will be in good hands.”

“Kailey was awesome. She was very accommodating for our first meet up before our puppy’s stay. She answered all of our question in a timely manor. She also kept us updated with pictures and videos of our dog the entire stay and gave updates anytime we requested it. Definitely recommend!”

“Jeana did well with my pups. She sent pictures thru the week. First time leaving my fur babies, I was a little anxious about leaving them but they seem happy when we pick them up.”

“Hershey had a great time here! This was the first time she stayed and Ashli and her son gave Hershey such great care! Hershey currently has stitches in her paw with a bandage and they were able to make sure she wasn’t too active give her the antibiotic she’s on. We had a great experience!”

“Langston was absolutely amazing with DJ from December 21–26! From the very beginning, he was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. He kept me updated with regular messages, videos and photos, which gave my husband and I so much peace of mind while I was away. DJ was happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable in Langston’s care. It was obvious that Langston took the time to understand DJ’s personality and needs, and treated him like his own. My husband Damain and I returned to a relaxed, happy pup, which says everything. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I highly recommend Langston to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate. DJ and I will definitely be booking with him again! 🐾💙 Damain Jules & DJ”

“I highly recommend Norma & Luke. They took great care of our fur baby, kept us informed and sent us pictures and videos daily. They were very attentative and treated her like she was their own. I felt so at ease that my baby Sofie was in great hands. I would book again ?”

“I highly recommend Adrienne, Oreo came home clean and well cared for, I can tell she had a great time during her stay. I also received a lot of updates, which reassured me while I was out of town. I can tell how much Adrienne cares for animals, and she is such a lovely person!!”

“Melissa was exceptional at watching Juice. She came through at the last minute and was awesome. I couldn't have chosen a better sitter. She sent pictures and was very communicative throughout my time away from my baby. I would definitely book with Melissa again! She was professional and attentive to my fur baby! Thank you! From Juice and Jay”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
