“Jackie is wonderful. She not only took my little guy for a walk but cleaned up his sleeping area when he wasn’t feeling well. She even took on this task last minute. I’m so appreciative of her!!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As a past dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring. I provide regular updates, photos, and plenty of love so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I currently work 3 nights a week and make plenty of time for walks and play time. I live on my own and provide a safe, quiet home environment. I have no pets in my apartment. The complex does provide a spacious dog park and the silver comet trail with plenty of safe walking space.
About: I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Animal Science and a minor in Communications and went on to work for a pet nutrition company shortly after graduating. I have always loved animals and have had a passion to care for them. While in college, I worked as a vet assistant for a year at the Humane Society where I assisted vets during spay/neuter surgeries, took patients on walks, and managed the animals after surgery by checking on vitals and providing other services such as karo treatment, fluids, and nail trims. I also worked with a pet sitting company, where I did daily visits to check on people's pets, took them on walks, and did overnight visits. I also have a dog of my own, his name is Taz and he is a Boston Terrier. I absolutely adore him! We go on lots of walks together and love to hang out in the backyard and porch. I have recently moved back to GA from CT and I am looking to get back into pet sitting again! For the time being, I have most weekends open to come help take care of your pets as well as some week nights for pet/house sitting. I am happy to come over and take care of your fur babies in the comfort of their home. I am available to feed them, water replenishment, take them on walks, medication administration if needed, litter box cleaning, as well as snuggles and playtime.
“Great sitter with great communication. Max my dog can be a handful but Mike handled it with ease and max like him now. I would definitely recommend and use him again. You can just tell people who really are passionate about dogs”

“My senior dog loves Claire! After the death of another beloved dog, I knew my senior girl need a weekly visit when I was scheduled for a long shift. We had a meet and greet and Claire was kind, caring and interested in Molly. And Molly warmed up to her quickly! Claire takes great pictures, is a great communicator and conscientious. Molly’s eyes shine with a special joy after a visit from her. I feel reassured when I can book with Claire!”

About: I have 20 plus years of dog and cat experience. I currently have 4 dogs of my own and have been involved in dog/cat rescue for the last 15 years. I enjoy taking care of my friends and neighbors pets and would like to help others as well. I am a teacher by profession and I am out for the summer so I have plenty of time to help care for and play with your pets. When visiting your home, if you have a fenced in yard, I will remain outside with your dog(s) to monitor. If leash walking I like to use a slip lead to increase safety and prevent a dog from slipping out of collar.
About: I’ve spent over 10 years as a dog groomer, working with every breed and personality out there which has taught me patience, confidence, and how to make even the most nervous pets feel safe and loved. On the days I do work, I have a long lunch break for midday breaks. As a vet tech, I am skilled in proper safety of each pet. How to leash, crate, and pickup animals when needed. I also am well versed in medical emergencies and when a vet visit/parent call is needed.

I've gained lots of training through the years of learning how to manage all different types of dogs well and keep them happy. This includes making sure they're properly fed, hydrated, and given the pets needed to make them feel as comfortable as you do.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
