About: Currently available for Labor Day weekend Sept. 4–7! I’m available for last-minute bookings and would love to take care of your dog while you’re away. With 9 years of hands-on experience, My love for dogs started young, I've been a devoted caregiver to my own pack of three, including my sweet Shih Tzu and two big Labs. The weekends will always work out! Also afternoons and evenings. Need mornings? I can always figure out a way to make time to see your pet. My senior dog loves Claire! After the death of another beloved dog, I knew my senior girl need a weekly visit when I was scheduled for a long shift. We had a meet and greet and Claire was kind, caring and interested in Molly. And Molly warmed up to her quickly! Claire takes great pictures, is a great communicator and conscientious. Molly’s eyes shine with a special joy after a visit from her. I feel reassured when I can book with Claire!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As a past dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring. I provide regular updates, photos, and plenty of love so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I currently work 3 nights a week and make plenty of time for walks and play time. I live on my own and provide a safe, quiet home environment. I have no pets in my apartment. The complex does provide a spacious dog park and the silver comet trail with plenty of safe walking space.

About: I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Animal Science and a minor in Communications and went on to work for a pet nutrition company shortly after graduating. I have always loved animals and have had a passion to care for them. While in college, I worked as a vet assistant for a year at the Humane Society where I assisted vets during spay/neuter surgeries, took patients on walks, and managed the animals after surgery by checking on vitals and providing other services such as karo treatment, fluids, and nail trims. I also worked with a pet sitting company, where I did daily visits to check on people's pets, took them on walks, and did overnight visits. I also have a dog of my own, his name is Taz and he is a Boston Terrier. I absolutely adore him! We go on lots of walks together and love to hang out in the backyard and porch. I have recently moved back to GA from CT and I am looking to get back into pet sitting again! For the time being, I have most weekends open to come help take care of your pets as well as some week nights for pet/house sitting. I am happy to come over and take care of your fur babies in the comfort of their home. I am available to feed them, water replenishment, take them on walks, medication administration if needed, litter box cleaning, as well as snuggles and playtime.

About: Experience You Can Trust & A Backyard To Explore! I am a lifelong animal lover with years of professional pet-sitting experience. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or an overnight stay, my goal is to make sure your pets feel like they are on a vacation of their own while you are away. Why Choose Me? • Professional Background: I have extensive experience working for a pet-sitting company, providing everything from daily drop-ins to multi-day care. • Large, Fully Fenced Yard: Our home features a big, secure backyard with plenty of trees and enrichment to keep your pup happy and active. • Medical & Special Care: I am comfortable and experienced in administering oral medications. Whether you have a high-energy puppy or a senior pet needing a gentle touch, I can adapt to their specific needs. • Mature Environment: My children are between 12 and 18, so your pet will enjoy an active but predictable home without the unpredictability of toddlers or very young kids. • Safe for All Personalities: We have two dogs and one cat of our own. If your dog isn't a fan of felines, don't worry—our cat can comfortably stay in her own dedicated spare bedroom during the visit. What Your Pet Can Expect: • Daily Updates: I send photos and check-ins so you can relax knowing your "furbaby" is in great hands. • Personalized Care: Fresh water, feeding, walks, and plenty of one-on-one playtime. • The Comforts of Home: Light baths and treats (as directed!) are always included. I know how hard it is to find someone you truly trust with your pets. I treat every guest as if they were my own, ensuring they are safe, loved, and well-cared for. I offer daily drop-ins within 10 miles and overnight boarding in my home. My Schedule & Availability I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets! • 7-Day Availability: I am available for boarding and drop-ins Monday through Sunday. • Highly Flexible Routine: While I work part-time as a substitute teacher (usually around 10 hours a week, none in the summer), I am home the rest of the time. • Constant Companionship: During the brief hours I am at school, my 18-year-old son or my brother is home to keep the pups company. Both are fantastic with animals, so your pet will have constant supervision and love. • Customized Sleeping Arrangements: I am happy to accommodate your pet's sleeping habits. Whether they prefer to be crated at night or sleep on a dog bed, the choice is yours. I have crates available if needed, or you are welcome to bring your own! • Service Area: I offer daily drop-in visits and potty breaks within a 10-mile radius of my home. Safety & Trust: My Home Environment I prioritize a safe, stress-free environment for every guest. Here is how I manage my home to ensure your pet is well-cared for: • Social Dynamics: I have two dogs of my own: a lovable Golden Retriever who enjoys making new friends and a senior Rat Terrier mix who appreciates a calm environment. I am very experienced in monitoring play styles to ensure everyone is having a good time. • The Cat "Safe Zone": We have a resident cat, but I have a dedicated spare room where she can stay comfortably if your dog is not "cat-friendly." This allows your pup to have full run of the main living areas without any stress. • Secure Supervision: Your pet will never be left unattended in my fully fenced yard. Whether we are playing outside or going for a walk in the neighborhood, safety is my first priority. • Flexible Care Options: * In-Home Boarding: For pets staying with me, I offer structure, exercise, and companionship. • House Visits: I provide reliable drop-ins for bathroom breaks or multiple daily visits if you prefer your pet to stay in the comfort of their own home. I would love to do a meet and greet prior to your stay if time allows.

About: Hi, my name is Kory. I’ve got 15+ years experience in pet care with various animals. I do really great work and my previous clients are happy to tell you about it so check out the reviews. Whether it’s for drop ins or house sitting, feel free to send me a request and we’ll see what we can get worked out for you. I am currently working on transitioning out of every day Dog Sitting and into strictly weekend work Friday through Monday as I work on getting a new job during the weekdays. I keep my calendar as current as possible and my response times are super fast. I try to do meet and greets during the evening so I can see your pets dinner routine and have them be comfortable with me around their food. I am wary of last-minute bookings. I need a week’s notice. Attempting to contact me after 10:30 pm will be delayed as I will be on do not disturb until 8:30 am as that is my personal time. Also, I am getting into working a regular day job to cover what Rover cannot plus insurance so my working hours for Rover will be more set to house settings in the evenings where I can be gone during the day as much as I would need the business. I would say if you have a small dog that needs frequent bathroom brakes you will want to look elsewhere because I will not be able to do consistent afternoon breaks during the weekdays. Weekends should be fine and can proceed as normal. I do not board in my home. I have my folks I live with and they aren’t comfortable with bringing other pets into the house as they have their own pets and they take care of mine when I take care of others. I have no problem with house sitting for you or drop ins. But if you need boarding or doggy daycare, I recommend finding someone else who offers those services.

About: As a longtime dog owner, I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for your pets. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels, and I enjoy keeping active dogs moving with walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and care instructions so they feel comfortable while you’re away. If you’re working on training, I’m also happy to reinforce the commands and routines you already use so your dog gets consistency even when you’re not there. Whether your dog needs a good walk to burn off some energy, a potty break and playtime during the day, or simply some extra love and attention, I’ll treat them with the same care I give my own dogs. Looking for reliable daytime pet care? I’m generally available weekdays from 9 AM–2 PM for dog walks and drop-in visits. I’d love to help keep your pet active, happy, and cared for while you’re at work or away. I’m an experienced dog owner who understands that every dog has a different personality, routine, and energy level. Whether your dog needs a brisk walk to burn off energy, a relaxed stroll with plenty of sniffing, or a drop-in for a potty break, playtime, and attention, I’ll tailor my visit to what your pet needs. I’m also happy to reinforce the commands and training routines you already use at home so your dog receives consistent care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow your instructions and routines carefully, including leash and harness preferences, feeding instructions, medications, and any household rules. On walks, I’ll keep your dog securely leashed and pay close attention to their surroundings, including other dogs, traffic, weather, and anything that may make them uncomfortable or reactive. I’ll treat your home with respect and make sure your pet is safe and comfortable before I leave.

  • 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
