“Katara has stayed at Moscow Motel times now and she’s had the time of her life every time. Consistent updates and pictures each morning and in the off chance something does change Langston let’s you know immediately. 10/10”

“Raffael’s home is Kilos second home. He has fallen in love with Rafael and when we turn onto his street he starts getting excited. I can tell that he really loves on him when he visits. I board with him exclusively. We love you Rafael.”

“Cindy was great! Chloe was right at home and found a new playmate in their sweet senior dog. Plenty of photos to keep us updated and at ease. Lots of play time outside! We will definitely book again and highly recommend!”

“Amanda provides well-rounded care for my furry boy, Jelami. I am grateful for her consistency and resourcefulness – and highly recommend her as a pet caretaker. M Murphy”

“Avia took care of my baby like he was her own highly recommended. She's very good at communicating and works with you when things may need to change. Would 100% book in the future”

“This was my first time using Rover, so I did not really know what to expect. Glynis surpassed all of my hopes! She took such good care of Buster - sent me photos everyday, sent me updates on how he was doing, and she made sure that he enjoyed himself. I would give her 6 stars! She made sure to know and follow his routine. He is relatively new to my home, as he was a rescue and had only been with me a couple of months. From his behavior when we got home, I know he was made to feel secure and cared for while he stayed with Glynis and her family. While he was happy to see me when I returned, I doubt that he missed me, as he had such positive experiences, as did I. I highly recommend her!”

“I must say I was extremely pleased with Sammie’s recent stay with Susan and her wonderful family. This past weekend I traveled from Atlanta, GA to Kansas City MO and I just couldn’t bear the thought of my fur baby staying in a little concrete cell a.k.a. the typical boarding facility. I stumbled upon Rover.com, entered my dates and Susan was one of the 1st choices. I really appreciated how quickly she responded and especially her practice of boarding 1 dog at time and setting up a “Meet & Greet” to make sure her home is the best fit for your baby. During the Meet & Greet (which lasts about an hour), she and her adorable son and sweet husband just chat and set your mind at ease. They were so welcoming and answered any questions I had, along with asking key questions regarding Sammie’s routine and requirements. Being a “Note Taker” myself, I absolutely loved she had her own type of checklist to make sure no detail regarding Sammie’s stay would be left out. When the time came for Sammie’s stay, Susan was kind enough to accommodate an earlier than agreed upon drop off time. Love her! During Sammie’s stay I got pictures daily of him laying on her lap which really set my mind at ease. Even picking Sammie up, which would’ve been a stressful situation, Susan again put my mind at ease. I was scheduled to pick Sammie up at 8pm, however on the road we encountered terrible weather which made our 12 hour long road trip, a 15hour ordeal. When it was clear there was no way I’d make it in time to get Sammie by 8pm, Susan said.. “Drive careful! Take as much time as you need!” followed by another adorable picture of my fur baby laying on his back with a caption, “Don’t worry! He’s on vacation!” LOVE HER! She’s truly just the sweetest lady and I promise your fur baby couldn’t be in better hands. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We’ll definitely be back!”

“This was such a POSITIVE experience with Lizette. She kept me well informed several pictures and a couple of videos. They went on walks with him and they cuddled in front of the television. It may be difficult to convince my puppy to come back home with me.? Thank you Lizette for loving on my Toby so I could focus solely on move-in day!”

“Absolutely above and beyond... Sheilah was truly wonderful with my Karl. We did a meet and greet, which I think truly gave my dog a relaxed vibe in familiarity of the setting when I drop him for the weekend. She was very informative of how he was doing...loves my pictures of his adventures with Sheilah. I highly recommend her if you need a sitter for your furry loved one. Thank you so much for everything, Sheilah...Karl will definitely be back!”

“This was my first time booking with Brittny and it will not be my last. She has such a sweet and calming spirit about her which I loved. I was very nervous to leave Cobi with someone but she sent photos and responded quickly when I reached out.”

“Nick is communicative and kind. He took the time to wash our dog’s food bowl before pickup which was very nice. Our dog had a great weekend playing with Carter and will be back in the future!”

“I am super happy that I found a perfect person.I believe in people that are over all nice and helpful, then just not pet sitting...just about anything thing they are nice and good.I am leaving Ms.Bubbles again next week with Helen.and later going to leave her for a very long time. That should tell how much we like her.We drive 1 hour to drop my baby and that is so worth it. I recommend Helen 100%.”

“Elisabeth and Forrest are amazing! From the moment I brought Pixie over for a meet-and-greet, I could feel the positive energy in their home and knew they would be a great fit for her. One of the biggest signs was Pixie’s behavior during our visit—rather than running to the nearest hiding spot, she came out of her carrier, explored the house, and plopped down on the floor as if she were already at home. During Pixie’s stay, she unexpectedly developed conjunctivitis and needed an emergency vet visit. Elisabeth and Forrest handled the situation quickly, professionally, and with genuine care. They kept me informed every step of the way, which gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. By the time I picked Pixie up, her eye was almost completely healed. This was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving Pixie with a sitter, so I was naturally a little nervous. Despite the unexpected health issue, I truly believe Pixie enjoyed her stay and was well cared for. I highly recommend Elisabeth and Forrest and would absolutely trust them with Pixie again.”

“Jessica did so well with our boys. The videos and photos that she shared really helped us stay up to date. She took the boys on walks and to the park. She communicated during the entire stay. Will book again.”

“Amy was phenomenal. Our dog is has extensive needs and is not the easiest to accommodate. Amy handled him with flying colors, ensuring he had a safe place to stay, while giving us peace of mind knowing he was well taken care of. She provided a low-stress environment for Dutch, working around his needs. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of pet care. She provided regular updates, pictures, etc. Not to mention, the price was outstanding! Shout out to Amy, we will definitely trust her again with Dutch next time we go out of town.”

“Jan, is awesome. Showed us her love and patience towards dogs and specially our own. As a healthcare provider I believe that full disclosure is a must. Jan exceded our expectations….and she updated us about our dog with pictures too…”

Amanda is the person you would want to care for your fur baby! She is very caring and has a passionate spirit. She's very responsive keeping you updated on plenty of photos and videos. Peppa enjoyed the walks. Peppa also enjoyed playing with her kids and small dog. She made the transition smoothly and was for us. I felt comfortable and at ease with her as this is my first pet.

Unique is hands down the BEST!!! We’ve booked with her twice and at this point she’s our go to every time we go on vacation! Her communication is top tier, very flexible with drop off/pick up, she keeps you updated with pictures and videos the whole time. My Teddy gets so much love, cuddles, and plenty of outside time. She truly treats him like her own and it shows. I never have to worry when he’s with her. 10/10 isn’t even enough, highly recommend!!! She’s consistent, reliable, and just overall amazing. -Courtney,Dominique & Teddy thank you!

Ken and Sam were great boarders and sitters. They sent us daily videos and photos and updated us on the behavior of our dogs. Their place is very conducive to dogs with a complete turf, fenced in yard with plenty of dog toys and agility obstacles. Will definitely keep them on our list of preferred care givers.

My dog was so happy over there. It was good to know he wasn't just sitting in a large pen all weekend. Kourtney was responsive and sent us photos. I was very happy I used the app to find her. Working with her was much easier than larger boarding facilities. I'll definitely return.

Can’t recommend Reyna enough! My dog, Sage, has stayed with her several times and absolutely loves Reyna - to the point that she recognizes her house and starts getting excited when I pull up to drop her off. Reyna is completely trustworthy and cares for Sage as if she’s her own dog - I’ll never use another dog sitter again. Thank you Reyna!
Aljokita was wonderful. She took amazing care of my fur baby Cooper who is definitely needy. She welcomed my pup with open arms and treated him as her own. I highly recommend you slow her to care for your fur baby because the experience is top notch. Thank you again for putting my mind at ease while out of town.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
