“Thank you for caring for my baby Knuckles. I’m so relieved to know he has a home away from home when I have to go out of town. Thank you for all the pictures, the videos and just sharing the memories he had with your family. Thank you for the daily communication and reassurances. To those considering this sitter — you won’t regret it. They have a huge, beautiful fenced in backyard where your little or big guy can get out there and run their little hearts away. 🐾❤️.”

“Crystal was amazing. From the minute we arrived to her house the first time, I could tell Zoey felt right at home and warmed up to her so quickly. My dog usually gets separation anxiety and whines for a little bit when I first leave her, but that did not happen with Crystal. She gave daily updates and asked great questions to make sure I was comfortable with the care that she gave Zoey. Already booked Zoey’s next stay with Crystal!”

“Raffael, has always been very accommodating, patient and kind throughout our many visits. He has worked to help my girl socialize with other dogs when possible. He is understanding of her sometimes hyper behavior too. All around great sitter and person. Keeps me updated.”

“Langston recently kept watch over my two little ones. He kept me informed about how they were doing each day and took good care of them. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again in the future.”

“Our dogs, Ruby and Beckett, felt at home with Shelby and her family because of the wonderful caring environment she provides. We strongly recommend this amazing provider!”

“Cindy was great! Chloe was right at home and found a new playmate in their sweet senior dog. Plenty of photos to keep us updated and at ease. Lots of play time outside! We will definitely book again and highly recommend!”

“Tobie is the absolute best when it comes to taking care of your baby. She watched our fig Roscoe for the first time for 5 days and the amount of pictures and videos she sent my kids loved it. My dog became her watch dog wherever she went he went. She will always have us as a client. THANK U AGAIN”

“Susan is such a solid dog sitter. She is thorough and responds quickly. All of my dogs needs are met when he stays with her. I am always at ease when Renly is with her.”

“Jan, is awesome. Showed us her love and patience towards dogs and specially our own. As a healthcare provider I believe that full disclosure is a must. Jan exceded our expectations….and she updated us about our dog with pictures too…”

“Norma and Luke were amazing! We had a meet and greet to ensure our dogs were compatible and to see their home. At drop off, they were thorough in getting to know my dog’s needs and made me feel comfortable. During the stay, I received several pictures and was confident my pup was having a great time. We will definitely be staying with them again. My dog already misses them!”

“This was my first time booking with Brittny and it will not be my last. She has such a sweet and calming spirit about her which I loved. I was very nervous to leave Cobi with someone but she sent photos and responded quickly when I reached out.”

“Kayla cared for Milo in the same way I would. She was attentive and caring and kept him busy all weekend long! I genuinely appreciated the pictures and videos, keeping me and my mind at peace, as this was my first time using the app. I look forward to Milo spending more time with her in the future and would 100% recommend Kayla🤍”

“Christina was awesome! She took a really good care of Kaizen, sent me pics every day and she was very flexible with the times. kaizen had a lot of fun with Mia and the other doggies she was taking care of, he came home exhausted and I love that because he has a lot of energy! We will definitely contact her in the future.”

“This was my first time booking with Kailey and I will say that not only did I feel at ease leaving my fur baby with her but Mya had an amazing time. Amanda is the person you would want to care for your fur baby! She is very caring and has a passionate spirit. She's very responsive keeping you updated on plenty of photos and videos. Peppa enjoyed the walks. Peppa also enjoyed playing with her kids and small dog. She made the transition smoothly and was for us. I felt comfortable and at ease with her as this is my first pet.

Unique is hands down the BEST!!! We’ve booked with her twice and at this point she’s our go to every time we go on vacation! Her communication is top tier, very flexible with drop off/pick up, she keeps you updated with pictures and videos the whole time. My Teddy gets so much love, cuddles, and plenty of outside time. She truly treats him like her own and it shows. I never have to worry when he’s with her. 10/10 isn’t even enough, highly recommend!!! She’s consistent, reliable, and just overall amazing. -Courtney,Dominique & Teddy thank you!

Ken and Sam were great boarders and sitters. They sent us daily videos and photos and updated us on the behavior of our dogs. Their place is very conducive to dogs with a complete turf, fenced in yard with plenty of dog toys and agility obstacles. Will definitely keep them on our list of preferred care givers.

My dog was so happy over there. It was good to know he wasn't just sitting in a large pen all weekend. Kourtney was responsive and sent us photos. I was very happy I used the app to find her. Working with her was much easier than larger boarding facilities. I'll definitely return.

Can’t recommend Reyna enough! My dog, Sage, has stayed with her several times and absolutely loves Reyna - to the point that she recognizes her house and starts getting excited when I pull up to drop her off. Reyna is completely trustworthy and cares for Sage as if she’s her own dog - I’ll never use another dog sitter again. Thank you Reyna!
Aljokita was wonderful. She took amazing care of my fur baby Cooper who is definitely needy. She welcomed my pup with open arms and treated him as her own. I highly recommend you slow her to care for your fur baby because the experience is top notch. Thank you again for putting my mind at ease while out of town.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
