“If I could give Bianca & her husband more than 5 stars I would! They made GiGi feel right at home & spoiled her the entire time. I received pictures with updates about how GiGi day was going every couple of hours. Thank you both again for your amazing services, GiGi will be back soon 🩷”

“We (and Luna) appreciate Mary so much ❤️❤️❤️ Our Cavalier is so lucky to have someone care for her with love and attention. It warms my heart how much she fit right in and got such great care. She ate, slept, played, and came home to us relaxed and happy. There’s nothing better than someone who treats your pet as their own and that’s just the kind of pet sitter Mary is.”

“Steffini provided a safe and comfortable space for my pup. She was thoughtful with the questions she had for me. She gave me the perfect amount of communication/updates while boarding. Would highly recommend for your boarding needs.”

“My pup tends to be timid with new people, but she seemed to open up by the end of her stay with Arieana! I was sent pictures each day which really helped with my anxiety of leaving Millie. Thank you for taking good care of her!”

“Toni is great!! Honest and unbiased review. Toni saved the day after another border dropped the ball and couldn’t meet my drop of timing after accepting the agreement. Toni was friendly and very playful with Carlos. She sends updates and photos which is very reassuring. Me being a first time Rover user has me uneasy this untrue process. I didn’t know what I was walking into but I had to do something seeing that my AirBnB wouldn’t allow you ( Mind you I’m traveling from NC to TX). I am very protective over my dog & I just knew I I’d burn Atlanta down behind my dog if something went left ? but luckily Toni gained my trust quickly. I highly recommend her **especially those who have trust issues and want peace of mind **”

“Ryan was awesome with Moose, he truly had the best time making new friends, playing fetch and cuddling for movie nights. Ryan sent lots of pics so i never felt out the loop, I will absolutely be booking Ryan again in the future whenever I have a trip!”
“Soel did a great job taking care of Mia. I chose him because he specializes in older and special needs dogs. He sent me pics and updates thoughout the day. She seems comfortable in his surroundings. I would utilize his services again!”

“Amanda kept me up to date on Milo daily. She sent awesome photos. She has an amazing back yard that Milo loved. She was very detailed about Milos time with her. She is great with communication. She created a photo album of Milos photos for me to have. I did not worry about Milo I knew he was in great hands! Highly recommend Amanda!”

“We felt very safe and comfortable leaving our little fur baby with Randy and his family. They updated us with pictures and videos everyday! Thank you for taking care of our little Cooper!”

“I cannot rave about Stacey & her partner enough! This was my first time leaving Ace with a sitter and it could not have been a better experience. Stacey provided updates including photos on a regular basis which I greatly appreciated. The report card was the cherry on top. So ADORABLE! Ace had a great time & I’m sure he can’t wait to see them again! Highly recommend.”

“I can’t recommend Diandra highly enough! When we did an initial meet/greet, I knew my dog was in caring, capable hands. I received regular updates and adorable photos - it was such a relief to be away from home and know that my pup was not only safe, but genuinely happy. My dog came home relaxed, well exercised, and clearly bonded with her! If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and kind-hearted sitter, Diandra is a great choice.”

“Edward was phenomenal! I was out of town and coordinating pet care coverage and he was fully engaged in organizing pick up and drop off by my friends. He made a stressful situation so much easier. I appreciate Edward immensely! He will take good care of your pets.”

About: Growing up, my family always had at least one cat and one dog. Before our family dog passed away, he was diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease and diabetes. This forced me to learn how to properly medicate and care for senior pets. Today my husband and I have one dog and one cat, keeping up with the family tradition. I love taking care of animals and dog/cat sat all throughout high school and college. When I graduated from college I spent a year and a half making content and writing blogs for a veterinarian clinic, which taught me a lot about properly caring for animals, especially cats and dogs. I currently work a full-time remote job, which gives me plenty of flexibility to work from your home, walk your dog, or pop over for a check in. As stated previously, I spent years dog/cat sitting and spending weeks at other people’s homes, careful to leave both the home and pets better than I found them!
“Andrea was so amazing and took such good care of my 5 month old puppy. She sent pictures every day and made sure Mochi was having a blast and getting outside. Great communication and logistics. Will definitely book with her again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Smyrna
Our pops typically travel with us, but in the event they can’t, we know Kim is our go to. She is so thoughtful and caring and takes such incredible care of them. They love going to her house because it feels like an extension of their own. We are so appreciative of him and will continue using her because of her exceptional caretaking and customer service.
Diandra was just great with Coco! I felt so at ease knowing that Coco was in great hands the whole time she stayed with her. Coco went on many walks and was spoiled with treats! Diandra was always responsive and sent lots photos to keep us up to date throughout the weekend. I will gladly recommend Diandra to anyone!!

Luke and Norma were absolutely amazing! They provided daily updates along with pictures, which gave me complete peace of mind and made me feel totally confident that my dog was well taken care of. I will definitely be using them again and again. If you’re looking for a dog sitter so you can travel without worrying about your fur baby, Norma and Luke are exactly who you want!

Kelli was so reassuring and competent. She stayed in touch daily, withe pictures and updates. She eased my mind about the quirks of my senior dog. She was accommodating, pleasant and kind. My dog seemed completely content and happy to stay at her home, even at the end of the stay when I went to pick her up. I’m so glad we found this sitter and am keeping her locked in for future visits!! 😊

Prim had an amazing time! I’ve never left Prim with a petsitter since I wfh, but Chackriya did an amazing job. I felt at ease leaving town & loved the daily update pictures. Chackriya was so kind, responsive, and gentle. Definitely booking her again in the future 🫶🏻

Christine was fantastic! She was communicative sending pictures and status updates of my pup throughout his stay. He got lots of long walks, which Christine timed perfectly so neither of them would be too hot. He loved so happy I wasn’t sure he would want to come home lol. I felt less guilty leaving him because I knew he was well taken care of. Will definitely be rebooking in the future.

Randall was amazing with our 6 year old dog! He can't be kenneled, so having a place where he can be the only dog in a safe, comfortable place is critical for our family. The updates Randall sent made us feel like we could relax, knowing he was so taken care of. We will definitely be using Randall again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
