I grew up with dogs on our family farm and have had several dogs of my own. I recently lost my best boy Luke, who was with me for almost 12 years, and I am finding great comfort spending time with other pets. I’ve been dog sitting for friends and neighbors as long as I can remember. I have experience with stays from 1 day (doggy daycare) to 10+ months (military deployment), and I have never met a dog I didn’t just love to pieces. Update: We now have one child at home (born in June 2024), so all dogs we host need to be child friendly.

Kelli and her family were absolutely amazing with our dog while we were gone for 2 weeks for our honeymoon! Kelli provided updates and photos daily and we knew he was in great hands! We definitely recommend Kelli for your rover needs and we will be using her again for our future travels as we know Bentley absolutely loved being there too and was given all the love!

Kelli and her family opened their home to my pup and gave her all the love. Upon our first time meeting them I felt 100% confident she was in good hands. Kelli kept me updated daily with pictures and texts. It was my first time using the app and I would recommend her to everyone and use her again. Biscotti had the best staycation with Kelli!!
Kelli was such a wonderful sitter for our dog. We were gone for an extended period of time and we were very comfortable that she would be well loved and cared for. We loved all of the daily pictures and updates and it was clear that she felt right at home with Kelli and her family. Kelli was so great with her and we will definitely be using her again!

Schedule
I work from home full time and can accommodate really any schedule for feeding/medications/potty breaks. My husband and daughter will be at home in the evenings.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a large neighborhood at the end of a cul de sac, which is great for long walks, and we have a large yard, which is great for short potty breaks. Our home has a few steps up to the front door and stairs inside going to the second floor. Some of our senior friends do just fine using the front door and staying on the first floor, but we want to make sure that’s not a surprise for anyone.
A typical day
We will go on walks throughout the day and spend lots of time cuddling on the couch. While I’m working, your pup may hang out with me in my office or sit by the door and watch squirrels in the yard.
