Initially thought this was supposed to be a good experience as Chemere has a lot of good reviews. However, this took a very negative turn on our end due to the following: - Initial communication was EXTREMELY lacking on Chemere’s part, reducing our trust or her. She failed to mention how to get to her place adequately ahead of time, prompting us to have to ask/find direction on where her apartment was in the area. She failed to mention that she has a large size German Shepherd in her home (she only mentioned having another dog without specifying), and she failed to mention that she will be babysitting 2-3 other large size dogs in her apartment during the time my dog is there. We ONLY found this out when we retrieved our dog and saw Mooncake sharing a small space with a bunch of chaotic large dogs. If we know ahead of time, we likely wouldn’t make this booking. It should have been a decision we make for our dog, not for her to make for US. If our dog was to have issues with being in an enclosed space with 3-4 other large dogs tramping up on her the entire time, it would have been an easy NO. I personally consider this LYING BY OMISSION and this is not at all a professional behavior. - While we’re away, communication was fine she did give us updates on our dog on a daily basis and sent pictures. - However, after my dog came home with us, the following 2-3 days she had very liquid diarrhea with BLOOD in it. We were told she didn’t eat much during the time, which is fine, but clearly she ate SOMETHING that prompted this diarrhea. My dog gagged & puked the next morning after pickup day, and had stomachache for the next few days. Seeing this, I am extremely upset with the whole experience and would never recommend Chemere to anyone I know. Chemere - Thank you for taking care of our dog. However, with everything said, we’ve never had such an experience like this when we had to question what happened during the week. It’s fine to make mistakes here & there and own up to it, but it seemed to me you deliberately omitted facts that we should know ahead of time.

Recommend her service. She is great. Placed my dog for two nights and she sends photo and video everyday.

Chemere was amazing with my pup Leeloo. Leeloo usually takes a long time to trust people but it took no time and Leeloo was playing and had a lovely day. Even did zoomies when she got home. Will definitely use her again.

I am not please. She seemed nice. However she was late coming to retrieve my pups. I almost missed my flight. Drop off was supposed to be 5. She didn’t come out side until 5:15. I had to carry crates in so I didn’t get back on the road until after 530. I never received a single low pic. I checked on them around 8 which is when they should have been fed. Again around 1030. Never did she send one video pic nothing. Much later that night she asked which food belonged to my pups. She said it wasn’t in the bio. Mind you this is 10 at night when I specified feeding is at 8am and 5:30pm. Walks every 4 hours. Nothing about that means you call at 10pm asking about which food was hers. Mind you I said it several times while there too. Currently it’s 4:14. I have been away working super late. No sleep. When I got there she wasn’t home. Mind you I told her I would make it earlier than 9:30. After reaching out for about thirty mins she finally arrived. I couldn’t enter. When I did she shared both pee excitedly. That’s not the case. Bella will mimic churro at times but she hasn’t done that in a while. Normally happens when she’s left for quite some time. Shen I walked her back out she had to pee so bad she squatted as soon as I put her down. This experience only has one good thing and that’s my dog was returned to me. Her leash was not on which was in her dogs room. Not sure why. Most important it’s 4 am. I’m up because my dog poop is pure water. She’s irritated and scratching. I asked if she Gabe her the wrong food she keeps saying no but I must stop typing her again bc I gotta take my poor baby back out. I’m so disappointed by this. Now again I didn’t expect perfection but I was clear in my instructions. However, if you didn’t see them why did it take so long to ask me which food and why is my baby sick. Smh. Worst experience that the place that only charges 30 a night. I don’t know if I can ever trust this service again

Chemere has dogsat my fur baby Dorian five times now and he now thinks of her as his auntie! She is very attentive to his diet, his walking routine, and his emotional needs. My dog enjoys cuddling with her and playing with her dog Zuko. Highly recommend!
