“These guys have watched our Frenchie a couple times now and they are awesome. They always take such great care of our little creature and he loves it at their house. They were extra careful to make sure he stayed cool during a high-temp weekend, which we appreciated. We highly recommend them to watch anyone’s pet!”

“Alicia was wonderful with my poodle and kept me updated daily throughout the entire stay. I would definitely recommend her to others and would happily book with her again.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Stephanie! She was responsive from my initial outreach and friendly throughout. She and her family were very welcoming to Molly, and she provided regular updates about how things were going. I felt comfortable that Molly was in good hands the whole time, and we would happily let Molly stay with Stephanie again in the future.”

“Pilar was absolutely amazing! We found her 2 days before our trip and she was very accommodating. Kept us up to date with pictures and videos every day! Would definitely use her again!”

“Taylor took great care of my dachshund for a two-week stay! My pup is a bit clingy and can get anxious when I’m away, but he was completely relaxed with her. She even let him sleep in her bed to help him feel at home. She also sent me regular photo updates, which really helped ease my mind and let me see how happy he was. When I picked him up, he was calm and well cared for. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Rahul was great with my cat, Speckles! He sent multiple pictures everyday showing her playing around and sleeping. He was flexible with the drop off and pickup times, which was really helpful when making travel plans. I was worried about her stomach as she sometimes overeats and pukes, but he said that she didn’t have a problem for most of the week, and since she’s been home, she hasn’t been puking at all, which is great. He has two of his own cats and sent some pictures of them playing together. I’ll definitely use him again if I need a cat sitter!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have years of experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m a dog mom myself, so I understand how important it is to find someone you truly trust with your pets. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual routine, personality, and needs, and I’m happy to provide plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and updates while you’re away. I’ll care for your pups like I would want someone to care for my own. I work from home full-time, which gives me a lot of flexibility and allows me to be home with your pets throughout the majority of the day. I can easily accommodate regular potty breaks, walks, meals, playtime, and lots of attention. Because I’m home so much, your pup won’t be spending long stretches of the day alone while staying with me. I have a fenced-in yard and a small friendly Yorkie of my own. I take introductions seriously and want every pet to feel safe and comfortable in my home. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, feeding schedule, crate preferences, and any specific instructions you provide. I also know how nerve racking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I’m happy to send regular pictures and updates so you know how they’re doing.

About: I’m a huge animal lover—big and small. I grew up with dogs and now have a cat of my own (my guy Chuckie), so I truly understand how hard it can be to leave your fur baby with someone new. I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I bring both experience and professional training to my pet care. I have over 5 years of hands-on pet sitting experience, have attended two NAPPS (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters) conferences, and completed multiple courses through Pet Sitters International (PSI). I stay up to date on best practices for pet safety, behavior, and care so you can have total peace of mind. Right now I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability to focus on your pets—weekdays and weekends included. I tailor my care to each pet and aim to keep them on their normal routine as much as possible. I like to do in-person or virtual meet and greets to make sure we have a solid plan and that everyone feels comfortable. Your pets will be in calm, capable, and caring hands with me. I’m currently working part time, so I have lots of flexibility and time to focus on your pets and make sure they get the care, attention, and routine they need. How I care for the pet will be specific to the needs of the client. Ultimately, I like to keep your pet on their schedule as much as possible.
“We left for a week long vacation and didnt want to board our dog that long so Chandni took him in and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was so nice knowing he was cozy and loved on while we were away! We'll definitely be sending him to camp Chandni again!”

“Dee and David did a great job taking care of Annie and Charly. They took them for walks and sent photos and e-mails several times a day to keep us updated while we were away. Our girls enjoyed their stay and we highly recommend Dee and David to anyone looking for a sitter for their pups.”

“Jasmine & Christopher were so good to my baby! Kept me updated with pictures & videos while I was away and made me comfortable to leave kodi with them! Kodi came home a very happy dog!! Will def be back thank you two again!”

“I highly recommend Tyiesha! I needed last minute boarding for my dog Basie while I was away for 9 days, and she was able to take her on such short notice, which was so helpful. She was communicative throughout the stay, sent daily photos and videos, and always kept me updated on how Basie was doing. She was also incredibly kind, patient, and understanding, and I really appreciated it. I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again!”

Megan was the best! She made sure I got plenty of exercise, played ball with me (my favorite) and gave me lots of love. She kept my daddy very informed about how much fun I was having, even though he was off having fun without me! Your dog will have so much fun with her too, but I kind of want her all to myself. Can’t wait to play with her again! - Millie

Hayeon did an amazing job watching our dog, Cooper, for 10 days!! She sent photos and videos everyday of him having a great time. He got a ton of walks, attentions, and treats—all of his favorite things! He seemed completely at ease even though this was her first time with her and he tends to be shy around new people. I highly recommend hiring Hayeon!!

Michaela was very accommodating and responsive. She always responded to my questions/concerns within a reasonable time period. She also provided several pics and a video to help put my mind at ease ( This was only my 2nd time leaving him with someone and he’s an older dog, so I always worry about him). But most importantly, when I picked Cooper up he was in Great spirits. Thanks!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
