“Thank you Rhian. She was amazing with my dog Peaches. Sent updates while we were away. Picked up sitting got her last minute. I would definitely recommend her to anybody. Thank you again :)”

“We had a wonderful experience with Stephanie! She was responsive from my initial outreach and friendly throughout. She and her family were very welcoming to Molly, and she provided regular updates about how things were going. I felt comfortable that Molly was in good hands the whole time, and we would happily let Molly stay with Stephanie again in the future.”

“Jada is just the absolute best and my fur baby just adores staying with her and her pup. She is incredible responsive, provided me with so many updates and pictures, and took such wonderful care of my girl. I will absolutely be using Jada any time i need someone to watch Nilla.”

“Aaliyah was amazing! She clearly loves dogs and was flexible with dog boarding my rescue for a week. She provided consistent updates with pictures which put me at ease while traveling. Highly recommend and will be boarding with her in the future!”

“Korri was excellent with Andre! She was extremely responsive and would send me updates and pictures throughout the weekend. She also made the drop-off and pick-up very easy, which is always a relief. I would definitely recommend Korri and use her as a Rover again!”

“Michelle was absolutely incredible with Dolce—five stars across the board! She sent me detailed updates and adorable pictures every day, which gave me so much peace of mind because Dolce can be anxious in unfamiliar places. He warmed up to her so well, and it was clear from her thoughtful updates that she genuinely cared about him and spent quality time with him. She took amazing care of my little guy, and I will 100% book with her again and again!”

“Jim and Melissa were amazing! They took such good care of my 17 year old chihuahua Milo for a week. Milo has a lot of health problems and they made sure he was taken care of the whole time. They gave me messages every few hours and pictures. I’m so grateful and recommend them highly!”

“Allura was so amazing with otis! He came back a happy sweet boy who had lots of fun and tummy rubs. Allura kept me updated and she worked really well with me while I was booking her. Definitely would recommend her for she’s ALSO very sweet and informative.”

About: I have had my own dog for 12 years! I love having pups over and he loves friends. I work from home and take great care of the babies: consistent food, water, tons of soft chewy toys, multiple walks a day, and lots of playing! As long as your pup is friendly and gets along with others, they’re more than welcome! I work from home and have my own dog. He loves friends and company. My dog is not neutered and is 12 years old. He is very loving and friendly. I believe in making the dogs feel comfortable and at ease. We will go out multiple 3+ times a day, walks around the neighborhood, food and water always available, tons of soft chewy toys. I allow the pups on the couch. They’ll be taken care of, always considered, and loved on always.
“Anna was amazing with Bronnie! She was on top of making sure we had picture updates throughout the week and she made sure our boy was taken care of! Her pup, miller, seemed to have the best time with Bronnie and it made it so much more fun for him to have a friend to play with! We would absolutely use Anna again in the future :)”

“We left for a week long vacation and didnt want to board our dog that long so Chandni took him in and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was so nice knowing he was cozy and loved on while we were away! We'll definitely be sending him to camp Chandni again!”

About: Anyone that knows me knows how much I love animals in general espiecially dogs. I am always the go to person when a friend needs someone to pet sit or simply come play with their animals. I am big on communication so I am open to last minute bookings. I care for pets as if they are my own. I am kind, knowledgeable, yet open to advice from owners. I care and as the owner you know your dog best. I am also very active with a lot of energy so never fret about dogs that are very excited and active because I have the energy to match. I am organized, responsible, friendly, and excited to meet you and your dog companion. Hope to hear from you! I work from home so my schedule is pretty open for walks and pet sitting. A 2 weeks notice is ideal but I am open to last minute situations because life happens. I have a playful dog that loves making friends. My living room is his play domain and my apartment complex comes with a dog park as well as plenty of room for walks.
“Min was great with my young senior dog, Taimi! Min was communicative and it was a weight of my shoulder knowing my dog would be in good hands when I needed to board her for the night.”

“We just love LaMetria! We’ve used her services several times, both for daycare in her home and for overnight stays, and we will definitely keep coming back. She is very flexible with scheduling and prompt to reply when we contact her. But most importantly, our dog Sammy bonded with her instantly during our meet and greet, and he gets extremely excited every time he realizes we are in her parking lot. In fact, he enthusiastically leads the way to her door and can’t wait to go inside, so it’s clear to us that he’s happy there and he’s being well cared for.”

Rahul took great care of Pickle. He was super diligent about making sure Pickle got his meds on time and sent me amazing pictures every day (like seriously I’m getting some printed and framed). He was super responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely book again

Phenomenal experience! I truly appreciate the short notice approval, as well as the detailed updates, daily. You are truly amazing! I never had any worry if my cat babies were well taken care of, from the time I dropped them off. I’ll recommend 10 stars, highly recommended. Thank you so much, again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
