“Zuri was very sweet, and sent us pictures and updates while we were away. Bruno clearly loved staying with her, as when we came to pick him up he was happy to see us but acted like he was leaving a friend and looked like he also did not want to leave Zuri :)”

“Excellent communication. She provided pictures and updates regularly. My pets are comfortable in her clean and very tidy home. Definitely will book pet sitting with Ashley again!”

“This was such a great experience. Although Kaleesi was excited to see us return, I could tell that she had enjoyed her stay. Thank you for all the pictures and updates - those were very helpful in reducing the stress of 1st time fur-parents.”

“Colleen was absolutely amazing with our dog waffles. She communicated extremely well and kept us up to date on how he was doing. She also helped transport him to our house when we got in super late so we got to see him as soon as possible. I’m pretty anxious about leaving him with anyone but I never once worried about him thanks to her excellent care.”

“Cooper had a great stay as always! I had my best friends wedding to attend and plans switched several times and they were very flexible with me. Nicole always sends lots of pictures and he always comes back happy”

“Chrissy is the absolute best and her dog Winston is so sweet and played with my energetic pup all weekend. I had zero worries, Harley had a wonderful yard to play in and felt right at home inside as well. I highly recommend and will be using Chrissy again, she is the best and the best with dogs, you can feel the love she has for animals! Harley had a great time! Thank you so much Chrissy!”

“Jasmine and Christopher were amazing. They were very communicative and sent numerous updates, pictures, and videos. They seemed genuinely happy to take care of Bayani, and I felt very comfortable leaving him with them. Bayani looked so happy during his stay. I would not hesitate to book with them again. Five stars.”

“My dog was in good shape and was playing with his sitter when I went to pick him up. I would recommend her as a sitter and will probably use her again if I need to”
About: I’m not doing this as a side hobby—I live this every day with my own pets. I understand behavior, energy levels, and how to keep animals calm, happy, and cared for. Your pet won’t just be watched—they’ll be understood, respected, and spoiled (in the best way). Because I work from home, I’m around throughout the day and can easily build pet care into my daily routine. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to handle feedings, walks, and playtime consistently while making sure your pet gets plenty of attention and care. I have a fenced in yard and my 3 dogs play well with others,I also have 2 cats but they stay in one part of the house and usually let the digs do thsir own thing.

“She put my mind at ease immediately and I can tell my baby had a great time! She even did the cutest glamour shot photoshoot for him, will definitely use her again and again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of him”

“I highly recommend Sandrine!! I’ve used Rover for three years, but we just moved to Atlanta so I was nervous about finding a new sitter for my dog, Bella. My experience with Sandrine was great! I’ll definitely have her watch my dog going forward. My dog adjusted well and seemed really happy during her stay. Sandrine kept me updated the entire time with pictures and video, which I really appreciated. She is flexible and understanding. I’m happy I found her. If you need someone to watch your dog for you, I say give Sandrine a try!”

“Charles is the only one I trust to care for Marker, my senior pup with medical needs. He always pays close attention to Marker's well-being and provides frequent updates with pictures, giving me peace of mind while I'm away. We had a few highly-rated Rover hosts in the past that failed to live up to their good reviews; I'm glad we finally found someone we can truly trust. Charles is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for all the pups he cares for. Marker had a blast during his visit, and I'm sure he can't wait to go back!”

About: I’m an experienced dog owner with two huskies of my own, and previously I had a Jack-Russel terrier I took on lots of walks, so I understand high-energy breeds, strong personalities, and the importance of structure, routine, and exercise. I have a 6 foot fence, that my huskies cannot jump, so if you have a dog that likes to jump, my fence can probably keep them contained in my backyard for their safety. I’m comfortable handling energetic dogs, leash manners, and dogs that need consistent exercise to stay happy and calm. Walks are never rushed—I tailor them to each dog’s energy level, weather conditions, and comfort. I also pay close attention to hydration, behavior cues, and overall well-being. Your dog will receive individual attention, affection, and calm supervision in a home environment. I take pet safety seriously and follow owner instructions closely, including feeding routines, medication schedules (if applicable), and house rules. I am also a mom to two humans, 7 years old and an older baby. I am a stay at home mom, so my schedule is very flexible for dog walking or drop-ins, but I may have my baby in stroller with me for walks, please let me know if that’s not ok. I recently quit my job at the CDC, I was a biologist, to spend time with my girls during their formative years. I take honesty and dependability very seriously so you need not worry about your pets or home in my care. Thanks for reading my profile. I am a stay-at-home mom, taking care of my huskies and kids. As long as you don’t mind me bringing my baby to walk alongside your dog in my stroller, I can walk your dog anytime of day during the week or weekends. I have a 6 foot tall, fenced-in backyard, so I am ideal boarding spot for high energy dogs. I have a 6 foot tall, fenced in backyard and 2 sweet husky ladies to keep your dog company in doors. I can crate your dog in my house if needed. I believe clear communication is key, so I provide updates, photos, and honest feedback during each booking. My goal is for you to feel confident and for your dog to feel secure, exercised, and cared for while you’re away.

Garyn has been great watching our two dogs! They were both well cared for and we felt the dogs were in great hands. We do have one senior dog who needs a food topper in order to finish her meal, and Garyn was able to accommodate. She is also very responsive and sends pictures throughout our trip. We would recommend her and will be using her in the future!

Titan had a wonderful stay with Amani and Alvin! They took such great care of him and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. I really appreciated the daily updates and photos, they gave me peace of mind and let me see how happy and comfortable he was. It was clear that Titan was treated with love, patience, and plenty of attention. I would absolutely book with Amani and Alvin again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring sitters for their pets!
Michelle was absolutely incredible with Dolce—five stars across the board! She sent me detailed updates and adorable pictures every day, which gave me so much peace of mind because Dolce can be anxious in unfamiliar places. He warmed up to her so well, and it was clear from her thoughtful updates that she genuinely cared about him and spent quality time with him. She took amazing care of my little guy, and I will 100% book with her again and again!

Colleen was wonderful!! We had a different sitter cancel last minute but it worked out because Colleen was perfect to care for our pup. From our first interaction, we could tell how much she cares for her own pup and the dogs in her care. We were super comfortable leaving our pup with her, knowing he would be in great hands! She provided updates and he was having a great time. He came home exhausted and is fast asleep now! She created the perfect doggie vacation for him while we were away. Would definitely have Raptor stay with her again :)

Andrew and his family have been caring for our dogs for several years, and we have always had a wonderful experience. Our dogs are always excited to see them and come home happy and well cared for. It gives us tremendous peace of mind knowing they are in such loving hands whenever we travel. We highly recommend Andrew and his family to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.

After having the same primary sitter for nearly 8 years, I’m always a little skeptical about choosing someone new when they’re unavailable, but Abby has been AMAZING! Nyla gets so excited to see her and even perks up as soon as we enter the neighborhood. We’ve already done two stays and are getting ready for a third. Thanks so much, Abby!

Kamryn is so thoughtful and trustworthy as a pet caretaker! She provided me with the peace of mind when I traveled out of state. Was able to communicate easily with each other (she also walks for us!), took an interest in maintaining our young dog's training and structure, and provided little updates that made me smile. I appreciate that she makes sure she understands our pets' needs and is able to bring up topics that others might shy away from! I highly recommend Kamryn!

Marissa was amazing with Kyro. From the start she made me feel super comfortable and kept me updated the whole time. She sent so many pictures which I really appreciated and it was clear Kyro was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. He came back in great spirits and you can tell she truly loves animals. I would absolutely book with Marissa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. 🐾✨

This was our third time keeping Bourbon with Cheryl and her family, and we will not stop recommending her enough for your fur baby! My dog always feels at her home with Cheryl and she always sends us updates and photos of our dog having the best time with her and her family. We appreciate Cheryl, Ben and Olivia (their daughter) go above and beyond to exercise Bourbon (give him walks and playtime in their backyard) he loves her and her whole sweet family!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
