Kamissa was Great! She communicated and let me know everything that was going on with my baby Billion. I received pictures and videos. She was awesome at giving me the reassurance and peace of mind and being able to enjoy myself while on vacation.

Bentley had the best experience with his sitter. She took great care of him, kept him comfortable, and treated him like he was her own. He came home happy, calm, and well taken care of. She’s professional, reliable, and easy to work with. I’ll definitely be booking her again!

We will never hire Kamissa and Chris again. Theirs was the worst pet sitting experience we have ever had. When our dogs were returned to us one dog was clearly in crisis and had such severe health issues it looked like she’d had a stroke, yet Kamissa and Chris made no mention of her symptoms or got her any veterinary care, despite us requesting they got them straight to the vets if anything happened. We were horrified to discover that she couldn’t stand up or walk properly without falling over, her head was stuck in a strange tilted position and her eyes were moving erratically. Yet they did nothing, and handed her back to us in that condition. We immediately rushed her to the emergency vets, but the delayed veterinary care resulted in a prolonged and costly recovery for her. On top of that, despite repeatedly requesting very frequent updates, trying to get them was like pulling teeth. It seemed like it was just too much trouble for them. In 14 days we got one photo of each dog 5 times, and we got one photo of one dog twice. That was it. And they were generally always in the same position in the same place. There were no photos of them playing with each other or playing with a toy, no photos of them out on walks, none of them smiling happily, none of them enjoying a treat or a snack. We just got photos of one dog on the couch and the other dog on the floor in the same spot. They didn’t send any videos of them, and words describing their wellbeing got less and less as time went on. I was in tears twice because the information was so lacking, causing us to worry for the whole trip. And with good reason. Daily medication instructions were not followed, and medications were returned unused. Chris simply forgot, resulting in worsened medical problems for both of them and yet more vet bills to treat them. One medication was chewed up by their dog, and another wasn’t returned to us at all. The girls’ clean bedding was returned to us with such a foul stench of stale urine it took two days to get the stench out of our apartment, and we had to wash our dogs to get the stench off them. Our dogs do not smell and do not urinate on themselves and never have. The dog that was having a health crisis also lost weight, you could see her rib cage and feel her shoulder and hip bones. The whole reason you employ a sitter is so that you don’t have to worry about your beloved pets, and you trust they will be returned to you happy, healthy and clean. To our dismay this did not happen. So far the vet bills have totaled more than $1,300 for treatment and replacement medications. You would expect good care for your pets with a Rover sitter, unfortunately that’s not what we got. So we will never be hiring them again.

Ms. Kamissa and her daughter took great care of our dog. She has two very friendly pups herself, and they had an awesome time playing together over the weekend. We are very happy with their responsiveness, attention, and care. We will definitely rebook in the future. Thank you!

Kamissa was great with my baby! She was very patient with me and him as he is a puppy and this was my first time leaving him with someone I didn’t know. She kept me assured that he was ok by sending me texts and photos. I recommend Kamissa for your boarding needs!
