“Armando and Cristina are wonderful. They took great care of my Quinn. They sent pictures and shared happy thoughts which were so calming to read, especially during a stressful day. Thank you so much for taking good care of Quinn. She she gets excited when we're turning onto the street which lets me know she's really happy and knows that your home is a safe and caring environment. I appreciate you both.”

“Loved leaving Paris with Michelle! She kept her home clean, ensured the dogs are all up-to-date on vaccines (keeping us all safe) and always kept the pets under her care within a limited number. This assures me that my precious pup gets the attention needed. Thank you for keeping us updated and staying in touch! I’d be happy to recommend Michelle any day!!”

“Kayla was super friendly and did a great job with my large-breed dog. Finding someone comfortable with bigger dogs can be challenging, so I really appreciated her confidence and experience. My pup came home happy, tired, and made a new dog friend. I'd definitely book with her again!”

“I loveeeeeeeddd Josh! I was so nervous to leave my dog with someone other than family but Josh quickly became family for Saint. He sent constant updates with pictures and videos of Saint playing with friends and running around the yard. It helped me stay calm during the stay. I can't wait to send him back over there with his new friends. Thank you again so much Josh!”

“Amanda is wonderful! Was able to accommodate my last minute request and was very communicative all day. I got tons of photos from her too. She took great care of my baby. Thank you Amanda!”
“Lyndley was awesome!! I got sick the week she was supposed to watch my pup and she was so understanding and considerate when I had to cancel days at the last minute. My pup seemed happy and well cared for when I picked him up. I’d use her again!”

“Due to fears of leaving my fur baby in the hands of another person specially due to worries about him being attacked or lost (I know, I know), I have been very hesitant to try dog sitting services. I know Mr. Grumpy enjoys spending time with other dogs and felt that I needed to do what was best for him. Vijanti eased my concerns. Vijanti was very professional and kind. Her response time was excellent. She listened to me and reassured me that my fur baby would be well taken care of. Vijanti delivered on her commitment. She welcomed Mr. Grumpy with care and did not allow his size to deter her (he is a big boy but very loving). While Mr. Grumpy was in her care, Vijanti sent photos of him and his smile told me everything I needed to know. I am looking forward to rebooking with Vijanti for daycare and boarding and highly recommend her for your pet needs. Your fur baby will definitely become another member of Vijanti’s family.”

About: I’ve been a devoted dog parent and caregiver for over 16 years. My own dog, Coco, was part of my family her entire life, and caring for her through every stage—from playful years to senior care—gave me deep experience, patience, and compassion. In addition, I’ve fostered dogs through Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, providing temporary homes, helping dogs adjust to new environments, and supporting their transition into forever families. This experience taught me how to care for dogs with different temperaments, comfort levels, and routines. I will be present with your fur baby when they visit my home. The schedule would align with your instructions. Virtual meet and greets can happen in advance of boarding. What sets me apart is my combination of long-term pet ownership and rescue foster experience. • Fostered dogs with Angels Among Us Pet Rescue • Comfortable with dogs who may be shy, anxious, or adjusting to new surroundings • Experience creating structure, routine, and calm for dogs in transition • Especially attentive to senior dogs and dogs who need gentle, patient care • Calm home environment with one-on-one attention I understand that every dog is unique—and I take the time to learn what helps them feel safe and at ease.

We are committed to bringing smiles to our doggie and kitties in the Atlanta area.❤️** HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!!
About: In my entire adult life, I wanted a dog. The long hours at work and my heavy travel schedule prevented me from getting one. When the pandemic shut down occured, my lifestyle changed and I am now the pet parent to an energetic 2 year-old pup. I can tranfer the lessons he taught me to your dog. I am patient and attentive. Currently I work full time from home and have the flexibility to offer loving care to your pup. My availability does vary from day-to-day . Your pet will be cared for in a quiet condo community. About: I’ve had fur babies my entire life. I’ve always loved animals and making sure they’re healthy and happy is a passion for me…! Let’s Connect I do a lot of my work from home and have my schedule pretty comfortable to spend time with fur babies. If I know ahead of time, I can accommodate. I have a nice sized apartment. I now have a backyard! My apartment complex has a large dog park, soccer field, walking trail and there’s even a dog park less than 2 minutes away from my house 🏡 nothing but fun and care here…
About: I provide a safer and more relaxing experience for your pets — as well as a more worry-free time for you — than you'll find with many sitters and kennels who intermingle pets from different families. That practice unavoidably creates unpredictability and risk, which I eliminate by giving your pets their own private room. And since I only host a maximum of 4 clients at a time, I'm able to offer a level of loving attention and individualized care that isn't possible at large operations. I'm the guy you see at parties, in the corner talking to the dog or cat. I'm mature, responsible, and nice and I've had pets all my life. In fact, it's because of the many times I've faced the tricky and nerve-wracking challenge of finding great accommodations for all my own animals that I decided to offer this service to other pet lovers. I've worked as a boarder at 2 vet clinics. I've also got tons of experience caring for my own pets and those of friends and family, as well as countless strays and fosters. When your little ones are with me, you can truly and comfortably enjoy your time away, knowing my mission is to keep them very safe and happy. 🥰 A DEDICATED CARETAKER I don't go away to an office job, so I'm almost always home and free to build my schedule around serving my pet-guests, who are treated as if they were my own. 💬 GREAT COMMUNICATION You'll get photos, videos, and updates! (Unless you prefer not to.) And you can always feel welcome to check in. I want you to have peace of mind while you're away from your critters. 🏡🌳 A PARK-LIKE PROPERTY (see photos 🌺) We have a massive yard, with a large pond, a sidewalk all around it, and even an island accessed by a bridge. All of this is inside our fence, and this is where I'll be walking your dog(s), which, of course, is safer and more secure than walking them out on the streets. I also built a secure 100ft cable run with locking carabiners, which is available to dogs for extended (supervised) outside time, upon request. 🐶🐱 A PRIVATE SPACE JUST FOR YOUR PETS Your pets will never have to mix with unknown and unfamiliar animals, so you'll never have to worry over a risk of stressful interactions or dangerous altercations with strange dogs or cats. I carefully maintain several entirely separate zones... • Critter Den 1 — A single family of dogs gets this big, fun room to themselves. It's the biggest section of our basement, which I've converted into a pet haven. There's a comfy loveseat, a beanbag chair, dog beds, a dog house, rugs, blankets, and toys. • Critter Den 2 — Another large, private room in our converted basement. It's got a comfy chair, a small couch, dog beds, rugs, blankets, and toys. • Critter Den 3 — A cozy, private room with a beanbag chair, doggy beds, blankets, rugs, and toys. My quietest space, it's perfect for seniors, puppies, or generally laid-back dogs. • The Littles Lounge — One family of cats and/or smaller dogs (or a big dog of a certain disposition) can have our guest room, which I've turned into a fun retreat. Pets will enjoy a floor-to-ceiling custom cat tree, watching windows, a couch, pet beds, cat houses, toys, rugs, scratchers, and a litter box. • Main House — Our own pets live in a different section of the house and will always be kept completely separate from yours. So, from your pets' perspective, it'll be as if they're the only animals here! 🔐 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Each guest is equipped with a special QR Code tag, just in case. If scanned on any smart phone, your pet's details and my contact info will be displayed, and I'll get an alert with their GPS location. 🐰🐷🐭🦊 A HARDCORE ANIMAL LOVER 🐴🐮🐥🐟 I'm vegan, which I mention only because it's an indication that my life is largely focused on keeping all animals safe and happy, and this same philosophy will drive the way I treat yours. ❗️ EMERGENCY PLAN If a medical emergency arises, I'll take your pet(s) to The Village Vets 24-Hour Emergency, which is only 5.7 miles away, and keep you well informed.
About: I’m an experienced dog owner with two huskies of my own, and previously I had a Jack-Russel terrier I took on lots of walks, so I understand high-energy breeds, strong personalities, and the importance of structure, routine, and exercise. I have a 6 foot fence, that my huskies cannot jump, so if you have a dog that likes to jump, my fence can probably keep them contained in my backyard for their safety. I’m comfortable handling energetic dogs, leash manners, and dogs that need consistent exercise to stay happy and calm. Walks are never rushed—I tailor them to each dog’s energy level, weather conditions, and comfort. I also pay close attention to hydration, behavior cues, and overall well-being. Your dog will receive individual attention, affection, and calm supervision in a home environment. I take pet safety seriously and follow owner instructions closely, including feeding routines, medication schedules (if applicable), and house rules. I am also a mom to two humans, 7 years old and an older baby. I am a stay at home mom, so my schedule is very flexible for dog walking or drop-ins, but I may have my baby in stroller with me for walks, please let me know if that’s not ok. I recently quit my job at the CDC, I was a biologist, to spend time with my girls during their formative years. I take honesty and dependability very seriously so you need not worry about your pets or home in my care. Thanks for reading my profile. I am a stay-at-home mom, taking care of my huskies and kids. As long as you don’t mind me bringing my baby to walk alongside your dog in my stroller, I can walk your dog anytime of day during the week or weekends. I have a 6 foot tall, fenced-in backyard, so I am ideal boarding spot for high energy dogs. I have a 6 foot tall, fenced in backyard and 2 sweet husky ladies to keep your dog company in doors. I can crate your dog in my house if needed. I believe clear communication is key, so I provide updates, photos, and honest feedback during each booking. My goal is for you to feel confident and for your dog to feel secure, exercised, and cared for while you’re away.

“Yara provided doggy day care for Loki while I was hosting a family event. When I dropped Loki off, it was clear he was going to have plenty of room to run around in the back yard and Yara was attentive to make sure he got along with the other dogs. Highly recommend!”

“Garyn was great with Kona. She took really good care of him considering it was his first time at a daycare/another person’s home. He had a great time playing with her two dogs and napping in his new cozy spot. Would definitely have her take care of my furbaby again. Thanks Garyn :)”

The median cost per day for doggy day care in Tucker is $35

Loved leaving Paris with Michelle! She kept her home clean, ensured the dogs are all up-to-date on vaccines (keeping us all safe) and always kept the pets under her care within a limited number. This assures me that my precious pup gets the attention needed. Thank you for keeping us updated and staying in touch! I’d be happy to recommend Michelle any day!!

Savanah was incredibly sweet and kept us updated on how our puppy was doing the entire time. She was also very flexible with our schedule, which we really appreciated since we were visiting the Atlanta, Georgia area from North Carolina for the World Cup and a night out. We had some challenges finding pet-friendly places, so I downloaded Rover—and I’m really glad I did, because that’s how we found Savanah. I highly recommend her and will definitely keep her in mind for our next visit to Atlanta.

Kayla was super friendly and did a great job with my large-breed dog. Finding someone comfortable with bigger dogs can be challenging, so I really appreciated her confidence and experience. My pup came home happy, tired, and made a new dog friend. I'd definitely book with her again!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Tucker commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
