“Kelli and her family were absolutely amazing with our dog while we were gone for 2 weeks for our honeymoon! Kelli provided updates and photos daily and we knew he was in great hands! We definitely recommend Kelli for your rover needs and we will be using her again for our future travels as we know Bentley absolutely loved being there too and was given all the love!”

“This is our first time leaving our baby with Norma & Luke & I am confident it’ll be a long lasting one. They are kind empathetic & professional. They shared multiple pics & videos every day & listened to all our inputs very patiently.Overall couldn’t have asked for more!!”

“Bryce was an amazing sitter for our puppy Quincy! Bryce was flexible, accommodating and understanding of the needs of our pup and our family. We highly recommend Bryce!!!”

“I highly recommend Eduardo for boarding your pet! He is very accommodating and helpful. He ensured my dog was well taken care of and provided me with regularly updates and pictures. I had to go out of town on short notice and he was available for boarding.”

“Daniela and her husband took very good care of my dog! My dog can be very needy and they were patient and caring. I definitely recommend them and hope they will accept a request from me again in the future.”

“Kim does a great job making sure each dog is taken care of and feels comfortable! It was really nice to see pictures of the dogs playing and napping and as always Kim is very responsive to messages. Django will definitely be coming back to Kim’s house!”

“Was willing to take my last minute booking. Easy pick up and drop off. Great communication. Sent pictures of the dogs playing and having a great time. Buzz has been napping on the couch since we got home yesterday, he had a lot of fun.”

“Anita is a great sitter for Skye. I always feel confident that Skye is in great hands when I leave her with Anita. She always sends me pictures and videos of Skye that makes me and my kids so happy when we are away from Skye.”

“This was my first time boarding Sunday in someone’s home. I was very nervous. Forrest and Elisabeth made me feel very comfortable by asking lots of questions about how to take care of my pup and sending updates that include pictures. Sunday was anxious her first couple of days there but by pickup day, I don’t think she wanted the fun to end! We would definitely book with Forrest and Elisabeth again!”

“My pets had a blast with Chackriya! Phoenix has separation anxiety but within the day she was so relaxed and Kitty was out and about exploring and lounging. We also got progress updates and photos every day! Would highly recommend Chackriya for any and all pet sitting services!”

“Elisabeth and Forrest are amazing! From the moment I brought Pixie over for a meet-and-greet, I could feel the positive energy in their home and knew they would be a great fit for her. One of the biggest signs was Pixie’s behavior during our visit—rather than running to the nearest hiding spot, she came out of her carrier, explored the house, and plopped down on the floor as if she were already at home. During Pixie’s stay, she unexpectedly developed conjunctivitis and needed an emergency vet visit. Elisabeth and Forrest handled the situation quickly, professionally, and with genuine care. They kept me informed every step of the way, which gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. By the time I picked Pixie up, her eye was almost completely healed. This was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving Pixie with a sitter, so I was naturally a little nervous. Despite the unexpected health issue, I truly believe Pixie enjoyed her stay and was well cared for. I highly recommend Elisabeth and Forrest and would absolutely trust them with Pixie again.”

About: The Care Takers That is primarily me. I love pets. I have a dog of my own. I became a sitter because I know how important it is to have a safe and affordable place for our furry family members to stay. I also really enjoy training dogs. I usually spend 15 min per day trying new tricks with my pups and any guest pups in the house. My partner lives with me as well. He also loves dogs. He is a vigilant food and water bowl filler upper. He's also a loyal behind-the-ears-doggy-scratcher. The Companions Lola and Quinn are my roommates. Lola is an American Cocker Spaniel who is 9 years old. Quinn is our cat that is calm and friendly. They are both friendly with small and large dogs. The Home Is located off Ridge Road in Smyrna. The house has hardwood throughout and tile in the kitchen/sunroom. Pets are allowed in all areas of the home as long as they've been house trained. We have a large crate for dogs who have been crate trained and are comfortable staying in one while we are away. Dogs are allowed on the couch as long as owners allow this type of behavior in their own home (we don't want to break any obedience training that has been established). The Outside I live in a single-family home with a large back yard. It is 75% fenced with a natural tree line and small creek on the far end. Keeping pets contained to this area is manageable but pets can be kept on leash if they’re known to be runners! There are plenty of shaded areas. There is a large and small patio that the dogs have access to. On warm days I fill up the doggy pool. For the most part, the backyard is free-range. My pets play fetch with balls, sticks, and frisbees. They are very friendly and are not protective or territorial of their food or toys. I work from home most days and am available for walks, playtime, naps, and pet specific care throughout the day. We are up and moving round early and keep a pretty steady schedule. I have a large yard fenced on three sides with a creek bordering the final side where dogs can run and have fun in a safe environment (if mom and dad approve).
“My cat had a great time with Terry and was very relaxed during his stay. Terry sent so many photos and videos during his stay and I could tell he was well cared for. I would 100% book with Terry again.”

“Maria was amazing! She watched my Yorkie puppy and was very responsive and professional! She took pictures and sent me regular check-ins with how my pup’s stay was going. I will 100% use her again and would refer her to any friends in a heartbeat! I told her she treated my pup so well he wouldn’t want to come home! ❤️”

“Yatnira was great with Bogie! We were away for over a week, which was the longest we’ve been away from Bogie but she gave me peace of mind with pictures/videos almost on a daily basis. She was quick to respond whenever I contacted her. It was our first time leaving our dog with her and we’ll definitely trust her with Bogie again. Highly recommend!”

“Gabriel was amazing! Not only was she willing to take Cody last minute, but she did great considering that he’s a senior dog. She was very communicative and responsive. Very happy to have had an opportunity to work with her.”

“Feeling so blessed that we found Jayne! She cared for our 6 month old puppy for 4 days. She sent pictures and updates every day. When we picked him up he had a bath and smelled so good! It was obvious he was cared for properly & given lots of love. We will be booking as needed.”

“Parker seems to have enjoyed his stay. Ok the meet and greet, he loved their home, their pup Charlie, the lovely yard and most importantly Christine & Miller. He peered out the window when we were leaving because he didn’t want to go. Parker spent most of his time with Miller and Charlie, and they all seemed comfy. Miller got many cuddles from Parker, which is awesome to see, and I picked Parker up, he was happy but not relieved. You never want your pup to run out like, “oh God you’re here! Take me home now.” If I stayed and chatted, he probably would have relaxed and played with Charlie more. It was comforting to know my guy (a senior) was safe and happy during his visit.”

Prim had an amazing time! I’ve never left Prim with a petsitter since I wfh, but Chackriya did an amazing job. I felt at ease leaving town & loved the daily update pictures. Chackriya was so kind, responsive, and gentle. Definitely booking her again in the future 🫶🏻

Christine was fantastic! She was communicative sending pictures and status updates of my pup throughout his stay. He got lots of long walks, which Christine timed perfectly so neither of them would be too hot. He loved so happy I wasn’t sure he would want to come home lol. I felt less guilty leaving him because I knew he was well taken care of. Will definitely be rebooking in the future.

The service was fenomenal!! My boy was happy, they took really good care of him. They keep me posted with the activities and also send me pictures and reports of him. Really profesional and loving people. Highly recommended. Thanks so much for taking care of Pablo!!!!

Randall was amazing with our 6 year old dog! He can't be kenneled, so having a place where he can be the only dog in a safe, comfortable place is critical for our family. The updates Randall sent made us feel like we could relax, knowing he was so taken care of. We will definitely be using Randall again!

Norma and Luke have watched our dog Osito twice now, once for 10 days and once for 4 days, and both times have been great. They are so kind and patient with our senior dog. They make sure he is comfortable and feels loved while we are away. They’re very communicative, sending updates and pictures multiple times a day. I recommend them as dog sitters without hesitation.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
