“Kelli was incredible. I felt she really loved on Jonquil. I had some travel difficulties at the start and she was gracious and flexible. She kept me up to date and sent pics. Jonquil loves Lucas, and misses him already. I think jonquil felt safe and loved on.”

“This was my first time using Rover it worked out great. Bryce kept me updated with pictures and text. I will be a repeat client when Walker and Dee need boarding. He walked them multiple times a day. I’m happy when my babies are happy. Thanks Bryce.”

“This was my first time using Rover as we had not needed a dog sitter in the past with family and friends helping us out when needed or taking our pup with us most of the time. We booked fairly last minute, and Daniela was great as a first experience using the service. She was watching multiple dogs that were a similar size as ours and all had good dispositions and played well together. Daniela was very responsive and sent pics/videos every day. I would definitely recommend and won't hesitate to go back to her when we need a dog sitter again.”

“Eduardo was great with Ronnie. He really loves animals and went above and beyond to take care of him. He’s also very accommodating with the logistics of drop off and pick up.”

“I cannot rave about Stacey & her partner enough! This was my first time leaving Ace with a sitter and it could not have been a better experience. Stacey provided updates including photos on a regular basis which I greatly appreciated. The report card was the cherry on top. So ADORABLE! Ace had a great time & I’m sure he can’t wait to see them again! Highly recommend.”

“They did great with keeping me updated rather that be text or a video. This was my first time letting anyone watch my dog, and I will definitely be using them again.😁”

“Kim was amazing!!!! We received so many photos and even a video! Tucker came home so happy and taken care of. Kim was also a great communicator and took our pup in very last minute! Will definitely use her for our next vacation!”

“Norma and Luke were very friendly and actually enjoyed the company of our dog. Our dog can sometimes refuse to eat when we are gone (or just when they want to be difficult) and they just reached out to us and we discussed giving him extra snacks until he got his meal appetite back which seemed to be fairly quickly. We got many pictures of our dog comfortable and enjoying himself. I would definitely book again.”

About: The Care Takers That is primarily me. I love pets. I have a dog of my own. I became a sitter because I know how important it is to have a safe and affordable place for our furry family members to stay. I also really enjoy training dogs. I usually spend 15 min per day trying new tricks with my pups and any guest pups in the house. My partner lives with me as well. He also loves dogs. He is a vigilant food and water bowl filler upper. He's also a loyal behind-the-ears-doggy-scratcher. The Companions Lola and Quinn are my roommates. Lola is an American Cocker Spaniel who is 9 years old. Quinn is our cat that is calm and friendly. They are both friendly with small and large dogs. The Home Is located off Ridge Road in Smyrna. The house has hardwood throughout and tile in the kitchen/sunroom. Pets are allowed in all areas of the home as long as they've been house trained. We have a large crate for dogs who have been crate trained and are comfortable staying in one while we are away. Dogs are allowed on the couch as long as owners allow this type of behavior in their own home (we don't want to break any obedience training that has been established). The Outside I live in a single-family home with a large back yard. It is 75% fenced with a natural tree line and small creek on the far end. Keeping pets contained to this area is manageable but pets can be kept on leash if they’re known to be runners! There are plenty of shaded areas. There is a large and small patio that the dogs have access to. On warm days I fill up the doggy pool. For the most part, the backyard is free-range. My pets play fetch with balls, sticks, and frisbees. They are very friendly and are not protective or territorial of their food or toys. I work from home most days and am available for walks, playtime, naps, and pet specific care throughout the day. We are up and moving round early and keep a pretty steady schedule. I have a large yard fenced on three sides with a creek bordering the final side where dogs can run and have fun in a safe environment (if mom and dad approve).
“Min was fantastic with my pup! She cares very much about understanding each individual dog and their specific needs. I received lots of updates and pictures while away which helped soothe me and while I was out of town. Perfect sitter!”

“Terry was the ultimate sitter! She took excellent care of our dog Orion and sent pictures everyday that I was away. The next time I need a sitter I will be sure to reach out to Terry!”

“Anita was an excellent sitter. My baby had a great time with her. Anita was always in contact with me. She was very nice and supportive of my dog's necessities. We are definitely going to book her service in the future again.”

“This was Shadow's first stay with Gabrielle and she was great at communicating and it was awesome to see that Shadow seemed to have a good time and she got the attention we hoped she would get!”

“Chackriya took such good care of my baby, Kubo! It’s the day after seeing her and he is SO sleepy! It’s very apparent she had lots of playtime with him and took him on lots of walks! I loved receiving all the cute photos/videos of him while we were away. Chackriya is a fantastic communicator, caretaker, and I recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter. 6 out of 5 stars!”

“Rudy loved staying with Nicholas, and Nicholas took such excellent care of him. Rudy is a little quirky, but Nicholas was so patient and loving towards him. He cannot wait to go back!”

“Soel, was awesome! Amazing communication before and during Rocky’s stay. Our dog loves to be outside and he was all weekend!! Exploring and finding the best stick! Soel took many many videos of our Rocky playing and meeting new doggos. Would 100% recommend him to a friend. Thank you again!!”

“I can’t recommend Diandra highly enough! When we did an initial meet/greet, I knew my dog was in caring, capable hands. I received regular updates and adorable photos - it was such a relief to be away from home and know that my pup was not only safe, but genuinely happy. My dog came home relaxed, well exercised, and clearly bonded with her! If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and kind-hearted sitter, Diandra is a great choice.”

“Ryan was incredible!! I got lots of pics and plenty of updates. Bubba loved staying with them and playing with his sweet dog aurora. Definitely will be using him for my next trip :)”

“We are very happy with Alexandra. She took great care of Moxie. She was very friendly, flexible and kept us updated all the time. She had such a great time that we were afraid she wouldn’t want to come back home! ?. Thank you Alexandra! We will definitely repeat with you.”

Excellent!! Julie is the absolute best! I’ve used the same Sitter for the last few trips, when she was not available I was in a panic, but luckily Julie and her fur baby Ace were amazing.I got daily photos and updates on my baby and pictures … She really put my mind at ease. Will definitely book again!

I'm always nervous when leaving my Sweet Girl, and this time was no different. But as soon as I met Norma and felt the energy in their home, I was instantly calmed and reassured that my fur baby was in good hands. I'm grateful for their patience and love with Oreo as she got used to the new environment. I will definitely be booking again. Thank you❤️❤️

This was my first time using Rover. I was very nervous about using it for my 60 lbs husky, who is a handful, but booking with Ashley made my worries go away! She provided my dog with the best care and kept me updated on him with pictures and videos. He was very happy🙂

We cannot say enough good things about our Rhea. She takes exceptional care of our dog and always keeps us updated with messages, photos, and details about their activities together, which gives us tremendous peace of mind when we’re away. She went above and beyond to help us during an unexpected travel disruption, and her flexibility and support made a stressful situation much easier to manage. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after, treating them with kindness, attention, and affection. The best endorsement we can give is that our dog is always excited to see her. We trust her completely and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and professional pet sitter.

Rhia was fantastic with my dog. I got daily updates and photos on how she was doing, great communication! I knew she was in fantastic care, she got taken on lots of walks, fun outings and lots of cuddles throughout the day. My go to pet sitter! Couldn’t recommend high enough.

Kelli and her family were absolutely amazing with our dog while we were gone for 2 weeks for our honeymoon! Kelli provided updates and photos daily and we knew he was in great hands! We definitely recommend Kelli for your rover needs and we will be using her again for our future travels as we know Bentley absolutely loved being there too and was given all the love!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
