“Kelly was incredibly responsive and kept us updated with pictures of my boy throughout. We had to adjust the pick-up and drop-off times, but she was flexible and worked around our needs. I’ll definitely book with her again! Thanks Kelli!”

“Our regular dog sitter was out of town and we were so happy to find Stacey. Stacey and her husband took great care of our 2 papillons. She was communicative with pictures and updates. Always such a relief to find someone your babies will be safe with and loved when you are away. If there is another opportunity to book with Stacey we will!”

“Rudy loved staying with Nicholas, and Nicholas took such excellent care of him. Rudy is a little quirky, but Nicholas was so patient and loving towards him. He cannot wait to go back!”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care provided for my dog while I was on vacation! From the moment we met, I felt confident leaving my furry family member in great hands. I received regular updates with photos and messages that showed just how well my dog was doing. It was clear they went above and beyond, giving my dog plenty of love, attention, and exercise. I came home to a happy, relaxed pup and even found my house in perfect condition! If you’re looking for someone responsible, caring, and trustworthy to care for your pet, I highly recommend their services. They treated my dog as if they were their own, and I’m so grateful for the peace of mind they gave me.”

“This was our second time leaving Taco with Kim, and she took amazing care of him! Kim truly has the perfect setup for our pup, and he loves staying over. She always sends the cutest pictures, and Taco gets along so well with her sweet dogs. He always looks like he’s just at home in his pictures! It gives us such a peace of mind to leave him with Kim, and we will definitely continue to book with Kim as she’s available! We also had our flight get cancelled on the way back, and Kim was a lifesaver and was able to extend Taco’s stay for an additional night. Thank you Kim!”

“Our puppy had the best time with their family and the other dogs! He was well taken care of and very tired when we picked him up! We will definitely be using them for dog sitting again soon:)”

About: The Care Takers That is primarily me. I love pets. I have a dog of my own. I became a sitter because I know how important it is to have a safe and affordable place for our furry family members to stay. I also really enjoy training dogs. I usually spend 15 min per day trying new tricks with my pups and any guest pups in the house. My partner lives with me as well. He also loves dogs. He is a vigilant food and water bowl filler upper. He's also a loyal behind-the-ears-doggy-scratcher. The Companions Lola and Quinn are my roommates. Lola is an American Cocker Spaniel who is 9 years old. Quinn is our cat that is calm and friendly. They are both friendly with small and large dogs. The Home Is located off Ridge Road in Smyrna. The house has hardwood throughout and tile in the kitchen/sunroom. Pets are allowed in all areas of the home as long as they've been house trained. We have a large crate for dogs who have been crate trained and are comfortable staying in one while we are away. Dogs are allowed on the couch as long as owners allow this type of behavior in their own home (we don't want to break any obedience training that has been established). The Outside I live in a single-family home with a large back yard. It is 75% fenced with a natural tree line and small creek on the far end. Keeping pets contained to this area is manageable but pets can be kept on leash if they’re known to be runners! There are plenty of shaded areas. There is a large and small patio that the dogs have access to. On warm days I fill up the doggy pool. For the most part, the backyard is free-range. My pets play fetch with balls, sticks, and frisbees. They are very friendly and are not protective or territorial of their food or toys. I work from home most days and am available for walks, playtime, naps, and pet specific care throughout the day. We are up and moving round early and keep a pretty steady schedule. I have a large yard fenced on three sides with a creek bordering the final side where dogs can run and have fun in a safe environment (if mom and dad approve).
“Daniela was amazing. Very responsive and in constant contact while I was away. She sent some great videos of Brady to show me how much fun he was having. The perfect backyard and the perfect pet sitter. Brady will be back.”

“Anita is a great sitter for Skye. I always feel confident that Skye is in great hands when I leave her with Anita. She always sends me pictures and videos of Skye that makes me and my kids so happy when we are away from Skye.”

“Julie is a FANTASTIC sitter and definitely worth considering for your pet. I had last minute modifications, and she was both timely and flexible to my needs! Nala loved hanging out with her dog and she even sent pictures of Nala at the park. I will definitely be looking to book her again! Thanks again for all of your help Julie 😊”

“Wandie and Shawn took great care of my girl while I was out of town! They were very attentive and sent plenty of updates including pictures and videos. Even reached out knowing a thunderstorm was coming through to ask how she would handle the storm. Would definitely recommend them to others. Thanks again!”

“Anika was awesome! She sent us so many pictures of our Boone having a great time. Lots of active fun, we will definitely be using Anika again! Boone loved her.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Vinings
We cannot say enough good things about our Rhea. She takes exceptional care of our dog and always keeps us updated with messages, photos, and details about their activities together, which gives us tremendous peace of mind when we’re away. She went above and beyond to help us during an unexpected travel disruption, and her flexibility and support made a stressful situation much easier to manage. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after, treating them with kindness, attention, and affection. The best endorsement we can give is that our dog is always excited to see her. We trust her completely and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and professional pet sitter.

this was my first time booking with rover, and emily made the entire experience super easy and comfortable for me! she accommodated pickup / drop off with my schedule. opie can be a lazy boy, but emily made sure he went on daily walks and sent me pictures of all his enrichment. i know opie will be happy when it’s time to go back to emily’s!

- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
