First time using Susan and also the first time we’ve left our pup with anyone. I love that she scheduled a meet and greet first - so that when we dropped Koda off for her sleepover she was already familiar with the place. We did a test run overnight stay and Susan sent us pictures and updates to ease our minds. They even allowed Koda to sleep with them! Koda loved the backyard access through the dog door. This was my first time boarding Sunday in someone’s home. I was very nervous. Forrest and Elisabeth made me feel very comfortable by asking lots of questions about how to take care of my pup and sending updates that include pictures. Sunday was anxious her first couple of days there but by pickup day, I don’t think she wanted the fun to end! We would definitely book with Forrest and Elisabeth again!
My Husband and I left Norman with Elisabeth for 17 nights while we were on our honeymoon, and honestly, we couldn't be happier with how everything went! Being away from your dog for that long is stressful, but she stayed in touch, sent us photos along the way, and made us feel like Norman was in good hands. She was also watching other dogs, which Norman loved - he basically got to have a little vacation of his own. When we picked him up, he seemed happy, relaxed, and like he'd had a great time. Amanda is the person you would want to care for your fur baby! She is very caring and has a passionate spirit. She's very responsive keeping you updated on plenty of photos and videos. Peppa enjoyed the walks. Peppa also enjoyed playing with her kids and small dog. She made the transition smoothly and was for us. I felt comfortable and at ease with her as this is my first pet.
Amanda was wonderful with our dog, Cobe. She was always easy to contact and responded quickly whenever I reached out. She kept us updated on how Cobe was doing and sent lots of pictures, which really gave us peace of mind while we were away. Most importantly, she genuinely seemed to care about Cobe and his well-being. It’s such a comfort knowing he has a “home away from home” whenever we go out of town. Unique is hands down the BEST!!! We’ve booked with her twice and at this point she’s our go to every time we go on vacation! Ken and Sam were great boarders and sitters. They sent us daily videos and photos and updated us on the behavior of our dogs. Their place is very conducive to dogs with a complete turf, fenced in yard with plenty of dog toys and agility obstacles. Will definitely keep them on our list of preferred care givers.
