Dog Sitter/Boarder/Visitor Rule #1 - Only one household of dogs stay with us at a time. Only who lives together, stays together! This is for their safety, health and anxiety level. Rule #2 - I insist on a Meet & Greet before booking & prior to the date of stay. Rule #3 - I cannot watch cats because I am allergic to their dander. Niche #1 - My Ranch house has No Stairs which is perfect for dogs with mobility issues. Niche #2 - I watch dog breeds others will not. I watch Pittie/Bully breeds, Guard breeds, Large breeds & Giant Breeds. Holidays, School Breaks and weekends book up first at my house. Please try to book in advance. If you live within 9 miles of me, I could stay overnights in your home. I live in Marietta, near the East West Connector & Cobb Hospital. With Susan's Sit & Stay, you get personalized loving attention for your pups! We are the Dog Vacation Home, but restrict to only one household of dogs at a time for safety reasons. Is your pet up to date on vaccinations (rabies, Bordetella, parvo, distemper), flea prevention, tick treatments, etc.? This is to ensure a safe environment for your and other owners’ pets. Another option is for me to stay overnights at your home. I also can visit your home to let them out into your yard while you are at work. This is my Full-Time job, so I need to schedule in advance. Rarely can I squeeze things in last minute. *Have a Dog that needs more attention? I can provide transport to vet/groomer for appointments, or even just playtime with your furry kid! I can even work on reinforcing dog training you are doing. I have experience with Senior dogs and some with health issues. At the Meet & Greet, I will want to know best practices of what helps them the most. I don't leave the dogs alone for more than 2-4 hours. I am home most of the time during the week. My Husband and teenage son help with the dogs at home on weekends and evenings. I have a fully fenced in backyard that gives your pups freedom to sniff around, explore, chase chipmunks, birds and squirrels to their heart's content!

Susan's home is always our first choice for our boys! We've used Susan's services for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. Our boys always come home happy and healthy and Susan's family is so nice and good to us. Our boys just returned from a 14 day stay (our longest time ever being away from them) and Susan sent us updates every day.
Susan took such good care of our two dogs and provided regular updates and photos. Communication was easy and we would book with them again. 😊
I wish they had more than 5 stars! Susan was so professional as she stayed to care for our 2 rat terriers. When we were gone she sent pictures of our pups. We felt so secure that she was caring for our pups the whole time. I would whole hardly recommend her for sitting for your pet. We certainly hire her again in the future!
Susan is the best! She has watched our dogs twice now and we have been more than pleased with her. We don’t leave our dogs often but when we do Susan Is our number one pick!
Susan was wonderful with my dogs, Oscar and Grover! She sent regular updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind and showed how much fun they were having. They loved her big yard and the enclosed patio with the doggy door, a perfect setup for them to explore and relax. It’s clear she truly cares about the dogs she watches. I’d definitely book with her again and highly recommend her
Susan and her family was great taking care of Cosmo! It is very clear how knowledgeable and invested was is in providing good care for him. I also appreciated her patience when my flight got delayed and I had to pick him up several hours late.

Being a Dog Sitter is my only job. My days are spent driving from my house to Client homes for hour visits & Overnight stays.

I stay overnights at clients homes for house sitting if the house is within 9 miles of mine. My family has a fenced yard at our home, where my Husband and son help by feeding, cuddling and playing with the dogs.
Ein typischer Tag
For the safety and comfort of my canine guests, I only allow multiple dogs from the same home to share boarding in my house. Please respect my policy, for it is to avoid unnecessary injury & anxiety for me as well as your pets! Since a "Work Force Reduction" eliminated my position, I chose dog sitting as a new career in 2015. I will only be away from home for four hours or less at a time. I hope your dogs are allowed to jump up on the furniture. We like them to snuggle with us on the sofa. We have an Extra Large Doggie Door to the backyard with panels to close it off during inclement weather. We towel dry the dogs when they come in, so we close it off to avoid muddy paws on the bed/sofa. Our backyard has a 6' wooden privacy fence around 1/3 acre with shade trees, & lots of squirrels/chipmunks to chase! If you like, I can transport your furry child to your vet or groomer while staying with us (please make payment arrangements with them for their services separately). I have watched many smaller dogs, but most of my experience & knowledge is of mid-size and larger dogs. I love to cuddle with dogs, so I hope you allow them on the furniture (after all, it does have "fur" in the name!) Lol
