“Hannah has been a life saver by helping take care of our fur baby on short notice. She shared great pics & notes from all her visits & she really connected with our digs quirky behavior. I would highly recommend this dependable dog walker & will be using her many times in the future. Thank you Hannah!”

“Hongyang is absolutely amazing. She did a wonderful job caring for our cat while we were away for holiday travel. She is great to work with, very responsive, and our normally shy cat came out of his shell and loved spending time with her. We will absolutely rebook next time we travel!”

“It was my first time using Rover and Natalie made the experience so lovely! My little kitty hasn’t been feeling well and Natalie was so sweet in taking care of her and giving updates and even going above and beyond in cleaning up some messes. I would recommend Natalie to anyone wanting the perfect pet sitter. Thanks so much!”

“Maya goes above and beyond! I feel so comfortable having her take care of our cat. We recently went for a three week trip and I was so relieved to have her watch Pepper. She gives nice long detailed updates and great pictures. We have used her multiple times and will continue to do so :)”

“Megan was wonderful with my kittens. She was very thorough in her communications about their eating habits and attitudes. They were incredibly comfortable with her. She went above and beyond by taking the trash out and making sure their dishes had been rinsed out before I got home from my trip. I would absolutely book with Megan again!”

“Emily was a fantastic dog sitter for my dog, Molly. She was punctual, attentive, and showed genuine care for her. Molly came back happy and well-exercised. I highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“Lauren did a great job! She arrived on time and communicated with us throughout. We have a senior cat who requires several medications, including injections, and can be a little crotchety when meeting new people, but she seemed to respond really well to Lauren, and Lauren handled giving her her meds without issue.”
“Kylah was so great! Even though my cat didn’t come out much, she provided incredibly detailed and thoughtful updates that really put me at ease. It was clear she was attentive, patient, and genuinely cared, which meant so much. I felt completely confident that my cat was in good hands the entire time. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her.”

“Reign is fantastic! She was super attentive and caring when watching my cat. She took the time to meet my cat beforehand to see her personality and routines. Reign sent plenty of adorable picture updates as well. I highly recommend Reign and would book again!”

“I was away for a long holiday weekend and my usual pet sitter was booked, so I had to use Rover super last minute to find someone new to take care of my sweet BIG golden retriever and very shy kitty. Jessica was AMAZING. I was honestly very nervous leaving my apartment key with someone new while I was out of town, but had a good feeling about it the second I met her. Jessica has a big dog and a cat too, so that was a green flag. During my trip, she gave all of the updates I asked for, took perfect care of my pets, and even brought my trash can inside (without being asked to) because I left it out for trash pickup! I also got to meet her beautiful big dog when I got my key back. It’s reassuring knowing that she a very old large dog (11!) who looks incredibly well taken care of too. Couldn’t recommend her more highly. I’m definitely keeping her on my pet sitting list for the future. :)”

“Erin and Tommy did 3 drop in visits 2/15 and 2/16. They were punctual and kind with my large dogs. They stayed an hour each visit and played with the dogs in the back yard. Would recommend and hire again.”

“We will definitely be utilizing Lydia’s services from now on with my puppy Ollie. Ollie has some separation anxiety and Lydia definitely made him feel better. Lydia was communicating with me throughout their play date and sending pictures, which also calmed my anxiety of a pup mom.”

“Katelyn was great with Nala. I didn’t have to worry while she was with my Nala. She followed all instructions and made Nala feel very comfortable when walking and playing with her. She is also very reliable, prompt, and caring. 10/10!”

“Natalia is GREAT! Our dog absolutely loves her, and it is evident why. She is caring and attentive to his needs. Her communication is outstanding and always detailed. She is responsive, responsible and very punctual for her appointment times. We are so grateful we found Natalia and appreciate her services.”

“From the start, Ming was responsive and communicative, which brought peace of mind. She understood my Maine Coon’s routines, needs, personality, and quirks. Regular, detailed updates were provided throughout the trip, including plenty of photos. There was never any worry, knowing my prince was in good hands. If you want a pet sitter who prioritizes excellent communication, reliability, and loves animals, I highly recommend Ming.”

“Hailey was awesome. She answered all questions and gave Nala all the loves. This was my first Rover experience and she made it a pleasant one. I look forward to booking with Hailey again.”

Natalie went above and beyond to walk my dog while I was unable to. She was so kind to my chihuahua mix brody He's an elderly pup and can be a bit intimidating but she stopped by for a meet and greet walk through. Was able to put him at ease. She was very communicative and responsive. I would highly recommend her.

Camila was absolutely amazing! I asked for her help last minute for my best friend’s bridal shower trip. She made time to meet with me the next day and saved the day! She kept Remi safe and comfortable even throughout his anxiety, and made sure he got his walks in. Her communication is amazing & I’m so thankful for her watching over him!

Meg watched my boy Wizard over the 4th of July weekend and went above and beyond in every way. I had never used any kind of dog sitter outside of my family members and she made me feel totally comfortable leaving him in her care. She was extremely thorough, attentive and kept in touch with me every step of the process. I will absolutely be contacting her again in the future.
Nora was fantastic! My schedule is a little chaotic but she was patient and understanding with me. Both of my pups have their own quirks and she adapted to their needs. I would absolutely have her take care of my pups again (one is a 55lb lab/pit mix and the other is a 100lb Great Pyrenees).

Emily was wonderful with my cat, Charlotte! Charlotte was unsure of a new person being in her space (and got sassy at times), but Emily took the time to make her calm and feel better. She provided really great updates to me, making me feel good about leaving Charlotte. Thanks, Emily!

Five stars for Dani! She took wonderful care of my cats while I was away. The ultimate proof was with Max, who is usually very shy, but he trusted her enough to let her rub him. That speaks volumes about her calm, gentle energy. I highly recommend her and will definitely book her again!"

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
