“Hannah has been a life saver by helping take care of our fur baby on short notice. She shared great pics & notes from all her visits & she really connected with our digs quirky behavior. I would highly recommend this dependable dog walker & will be using her many times in the future. Thank you Hannah!”

“Hongyang is amazing. She watched my pets for me multiple times this year. She has great communication and was flexible to accommodate our needs. I was able to enjoy myself on vacation knowing everything was taken care of. Thank you so much for taking care of our pet family members!”

“Maya was very attentive and checked in with me after every drop in. Very flexible when I had some changes and made sure to take great care of my fur babies!! Made sure they had play time, water and food was stocked as well. Cleaned up the area too!! Thank you so much for caring for my little ones,”

“Ryleigh was amazing with my girl Chonk!! Took great care of her and went above and beyond to make sure my kitty was happy while I was out of town! Will be using her for all my trips moving forward!!!”

“I couldn’t be happier having Nora as my sitter. She does drop ins regularly for me, and both myself and my dog love her! She is reliable, trust worthy, and provides the best pictures and info about the visits. I highly recommend Nora and am very appreciative of her great care she gives to my best friend!”

“Megan was wonderful with my kittens. She was very thorough in her communications about their eating habits and attitudes. They were incredibly comfortable with her. She went above and beyond by taking the trash out and making sure their dishes had been rinsed out before I got home from my trip. I would absolutely book with Megan again!”

“This was my first time using Rover and hiring someone to come into my home, I was very nervous and skeptical trusting someone to look after my baby but I really needed someone help and Emily felt safe. She promptly communicated with me and took on a kind of last minute meet and greet and booking. While checking in on stormi she was very interactive with me sending videos and photos updating how she was doing, which really helped because I was anxious about how stormi was doing for her first time with a sitter and ultimately a stranger. I think Stormi loved Emily and I will be using her in the future!”

“Reign is fantastic! She was super attentive and caring when watching my cat. She took the time to meet my cat beforehand to see her personality and routines. Reign sent plenty of adorable picture updates as well. I highly recommend Reign and would book again!”

“Lauren did a great job! She arrived on time and communicated with us throughout. We have a senior cat who requires several medications, including injections, and can be a little crotchety when meeting new people, but she seemed to respond really well to Lauren, and Lauren handled giving her her meds without issue.”
“Erin and Tommy did 3 drop in visits 2/15 and 2/16. They were punctual and kind with my large dogs. They stayed an hour each visit and played with the dogs in the back yard. Would recommend and hire again.”

“Natalie was great! She took care of our two cats for four days over the holiday. This was our first time hiring a pet sitter, and she gracefully navigated any bumps along the way caused from my end. She was always very prompt and responsive. She even tried to troubleshoot our automatic feeder when it stopped working and cleaned up when one of the cats discovered a roll of paper towels. My kitties were very happy and healthy when I returned!”

“Kylah was great once again with my fur babies. I appreciate that she gives me a thorough update each visit along with pictures. She’s fantastic and my babies love her. I recommend booking her!”

“Katelyn was great with Nala. I didn’t have to worry while she was with my Nala. She followed all instructions and made Nala feel very comfortable when walking and playing with her. She is also very reliable, prompt, and caring. 10/10!”

“Maura did an incredible job watching my two cats! I greatly appreciated her updates and pictures of them while I was away. I will absolutely rebook with Maura- and I highly recommend you do same!”

“Natalia is GREAT! Our dog absolutely loves her, and it is evident why. She is caring and attentive to his needs. Her communication is outstanding and always detailed. She is responsive, responsible and very punctual for her appointment times. We are so grateful we found Natalia and appreciate her services.”

“We will definitely be utilizing Lydia’s services from now on with my puppy Ollie. Ollie has some separation anxiety and Lydia definitely made him feel better. Lydia was communicating with me throughout their play date and sending pictures, which also calmed my anxiety of a pup mom.”

About: I have had dogs as pets (aka family members) all my life, from small to large breeds. I have frequently taken care of dogs for family, friends, coworkers, you name it. I have experience with puppies all the way to seniors. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I am able to coordinate visits/house-sitting very easily. I have worked at all hours of the day/night before, so I’m very flexible. I am very detail-oriented, and I want to replicate your typical routine to the best of my ability to ensure your pet remains comfortable and happy.

Five stars for Dani! She took wonderful care of my cats while I was away. The ultimate proof was with Max, who is usually very shy, but he trusted her enough to let her rub him. That speaks volumes about her calm, gentle energy. I highly recommend her and will definitely book her again!"
This was my first time having someone come to my home to take care of my cat. I also booked last minute. Dana responded quickly, showed up on time and took great care of my cat. I was gone for 3 nights and 4 days. Dana sent pictures and videos of interactions with Ruby! I felt very comfortable. Will definitely book again!

Emily watched my two cats during my recent 2.5 week trip. I felt very reassured about the great care Charlie and Chloe were getting when I received photos of them every day. When I got back home, they almost looked disappointed when I came through the door instead of Emily. I will 100% engage her services again during my next trip!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
