“Jace did an Amazing job when we went on vacation to Puerto Rico. Our Athena is pretty active and Jace kept up with her the entire time. She played with her in which our Athena loves. Thanks Jace for watching our Athena 🩷”

“Lori was incredible with our two kitties. She was very communicative and caring during every visit, even when our cats misbehaved. One of our cats is on a prescription diet and medication, so we were worried about leaving them behind for the first time. Lori was able to administer the medication, feed, clean up after, and play with our babies just as she would with her own. I couldn’t recommend Lori enough and hope that she will be willing to watch our kitties again in the future.”

“Lisa was amazing from start to finish. She was very patient and attentive to my fur babies who are shy. Eventually they warmed up to her. She took care of them and showed them lots of love. Highly recommend Lisa for your next pet sitter needs. I’m so grateful to her❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Susan was fantastic to work with, both in her care for our cat and in her care for our home, daily communication with us and photos. She quickly recognized kitty’s needs, spent time with him, engaged him, and gave us such relief that he was in good hands while we were gone. We would count it a privilege to work with Susan again!”

“Reliable, communicative, and a true cat lover! Ashley saved the day with a last-minute booking and provided top-notch care. I came home to a happy, relaxed kitty. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone!”

“Venie was very communicative and even came over to meet my cat, Julian before we went out of town. And she was sweet to Julian as well. I really appreciated it! Would use her again!”
About: My house has been filled with dogs since before I could walk. I started taking care of them when I was about 10, and from there I fell in love with dogs. I have experience with taking care of dogs of all sizes, from Pitbulls to Chihuahuas. I have lots of puppy training experience having raised 5 of my dogs from puppies. I raised my current dogs, 2 Cocker-Spaniel Chihuahuas, from puppies and have experience with potty, crate, and behavior training. I take care of them everyday, taking them on walks and hikes, feeding them twice a day, and grooming them frequently including brushing and de-shedding them. I also live with 3 other dogs, Pitbull mixes, that I take care of regularly by taking them out, feeding, washing, and exercising, although I’m not the primary caretaker of them. I also have experience with senior dogs. My childhood dog, Sam, lived to be 11 years old and just recently passed away in December 2025. Prior to his passing, I took care of him regularly by giving him medicine, making sure he ate his food and was hydrated, cleaned his bed and crate often, and exercised him. With all of this experience under my belt, I’m confident that I will be a great sitter for your dog(s). I can’t wait to meet them! Although I’m a full-time student and work part-time, I still have plenty of time to take care of your pups. I’m available for potty breaks and feeding everyday, I can always make time to visit with doggies! As for those doggies that need more attention, I can spend the night any day of the week as long as you aren’t too far. That’s something that can be decided as we chat. I am completely free every single Sunday, with no work or school, so if you have a pup that needs exercise I am able to! If your dog has extra needs, we can always talk about that and I can be flexible if needed. I won’t be offering boarding due to the high volume of dogs already in my house. I am open to spending the night if your pupper needs that, we can arrange that and I can make myself available as needed. I thrive in environments with guidelines, I don’t like to guess what I need to do. For me to be able to care for your dog the best, you can just write out anything I need to do or that you think I should know about your dog(s) or house.
“We had a great experience! She took really good care of Hanzo while we were away and always kept us updated with messages and pictures. Hanzo looked happy and comfortable the whole time. She was reliable, caring, and easy to communicate with. We really appreciated all the help and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to take care of their pets 😊”

About: I grew up in a dog and cat household. I had a beagle and German shepherd growing up which was quite a difference in size and personality that I managed! We also had 5 cats and now I have 2 of my own cats that live with me in kennesaw. I enjoy walking dogs especially now that I live away from home. I’m able to follow a routine and instructions for those picky dogs! I equally love cats and can handle their care with ease. I am a nursing student and have an ever changing schedule of classes and clinical. Pet care fits the best with my schedule right now and helps me get active! As a slightly neurotic pet owner myself, safety is my top concern. I’m very serious about ensuring nothing harmful could possibly be reached by a pet. I also will double and triple check your pet is not accidentally shut in the wrong room!
“Our pups are super shy, and Claudia was so patient and creative in helping them feel comfortable while we were away! Great communication and so kind to our babies - we will definitely be booking again :)”

“Stephanie has cared for our cats multiple times. She is great at remembering my cats’ routines (medication, food, etc) from one visit to the next and she always sends the cutest pictures to reassure me that the kitties are doing well.”

“Joey has been an absolute joy and pleasure to work with. As someone who treats my cat as one of my own, I feel that Joey has really taken the challenge of showing her love, respect and care. He brought in my packages, asked me questions as needed and most importantly I can tell he really loves animals. I will definitely be booking him again and I’m so grateful for the relief that he brought me on my trip during the holidays.”

“I always feel a deep guilt whenever I leave my cat for over 24 hours. This time I hired Sara while I was out of town for 4 days and I never once felt that sad, guilty feeling. She took such great care of Remy, I could tell he loved her from the pics she sent. She put on cat tv for him, kept his litter boxes clean, played so well with him. She even went the extra mile and straightened up my place some. And she is so sweet btw! Genuinely just one of the most pleasant people I’ve ever met. Would hire Sara to watch Remy a million times over, seriously”

“Mindy was absolutely amazing! We had to leave town sooner than I was able to meet Mindy. I messaged her the night before and she was more than happy to help. Also Rufus was stinky he definitely was due for a bath. Mindy paid no mind to it and took care/loved on Rufus. She was on time and kept me updated. We felt so blessed getting her as a pet sitter and will definitely use her again.”

Mindy went above and beyond. We had to extend our visits and she was very accommodating. The daily updates and photos were a very nice touch. Storm, our cat was well taken care of. And we had peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. It allowed for us to relax and enjoy during our trip. Thank you!!!

Charlotte was great! She kept me up to date on how Marley was doing and sent pictures throughout the visit. I really appreciated she asked if she could take her on a walk outside before doing it because Marley is not fully vaccinated. Thank you for your excellent care!

Susan is INCREDIBLE! She responded quickly to my request, was flexible with setting up a meet and greet, and followed instructions perfectly. We got so many sweet photos of our cats while we were away and detailed updates! Both cats (one of whom is very shy and I fully expected her to never really see 😂) ended up hanging out with her and accepting pets from her. I highly recommend Susan as a reliable pet sitter and will continue to use her services!

This is the second time we’ve trusted her to pet sit for us, and once again she exceeded all expectations! She is truly amazing, outstanding, and exceptional. She takes care of every detail and treats our pets like her own. We received daily updates and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our pets absolutely adore her, and it’s clear she genuinely loves and cares for animals. I cannot recommend her enough. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and caring to watch your pets, she is the best! 🐾❤️

We are so grateful for the wonderful care Caylen provided for our old man. She handled his shyness with such patience and kindness, and it was clear she genuinely cared about his well being. She was extremely punctual, dependable, and consistently went above and beyond. Her communication was excellent throughout our time away, keeping us updated and giving us peace of mind that he was in great hands. We came home to a happy, well cared for dog and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️

Chloe was AWESOME!!! This was the first time in 2 years we have been able to go anywhere since relocating to Georgia. Our Rotty Duchess is not a people person, but Chloe came in and saved the day!!! She is compassionate, patient, kind, calm, caring and trustworthy!!! She cared for our Duchess like she was personally her own pet! She went above and beyond the measures of caring for her and sending us updates with pictures to place our minds at ease!! There are not enough words to describe such a person that has this kind of love and professionalism for our pet!!!!

Christina went above and beyond to make my cat feel happy and loved while I was out of town for the weekend. She spent more time than was necessary to play with my cat out of the kindness of her heart to make sure she was cared for. It seems my cat gained a new best friend this weekend

Paola took such good care of our little boy (80lb dog) for two weeks. Partial house sitting and part drop in visits. She regularly updated us on when he was fed and walked and sent lots of photos which was much appreciated given we missed him dearly. We will definitely have her watch our pup in the future!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
