Although I grew up with plenty of dogs in rural Wisconsin, I have only owned one dog in my adult life -- a stray Siberian Husky that stole my and my family's heart. Mojo was a much loved member of our family, and neighborhood, for 13 years. Even though we had fenced-in our back yard, I still insisted on taking Mojo out for nice long walks, several times a day -- even in the rain and cold. We both looked forward to that special time together. Mojo passed away a few years ago, and now I have four cats. Before the cats came into my life, I have provided in-home dog care for friends and neighbors when they were away on vacation. While my cats are sweet and friendly, they are not used to being around dogs, so I can no longer provide dog care in my home. But, I do miss those daily dog walks and visits to the dog park. I would absolutely love the opportunity to provide long walks and loving interaction with your dog. I'm an empty-nester that works from home, so I have a very flexible schedule. Also, I try to stay physically fit and work out on a regular basis at the gym. If you would like me to jog with your dog, let me know -- I can happily accommodate that, and get a workout in for me, too!
