Each morning starts with a refreshing 35-minute walk to wake up, take care of business, and build their appetite for breakfast. When I’m working from home, they nap in my office as I take calls, and if I head to the office, they’re either free to roam or kenneled based on your preference. Midday includes approved treats and a backyard potty break, followed by a 3 p.m. neighborhood loop and an evening 2-mile walk to end the day on a high note. After dinner, it’s all about snuggles on the couch. Pups are welcome to sleep with me or in their crate—whatever makes them comfortable. My sweet girl absolutely adores Kayla. Misty goes to doggie daycare with her 2–3 times a week while we’re at work, and it has been the biggest blessing for both of us. As a puppy mom, leaving such a young puppy with someone new can feel really scary, but Kayla immediately made me feel completely safe and comfortable. You can tell she truly loves and cares for the dogs she watches, and that means everything. I love the pictures she sends throughout the day … she’s seriously the best puppy photographer! Getting those updates while I’m at work always makes my day and reassures me that Misty is happy and having fun. Even though Misty can’t quite touch the ground yet, Kayla still makes sure she gets safe outside time and plenty of attention and love.
