“Juan was absolutely amazing with Miles and his dog Odie is the most behaved dog I’ve ever seen. He was constantly in touch with updates and pictures and responded super quickly! He also returned my dog’s food bowl completely washed😭 so I would 100% him for whenever anyone needs a sitter as he really goes above and beyond. Miles came back completely drained from so many walks and playing with Odie and other dogs at the park!”
“Maya did a fantastic job taking care of our 2 dogs on our first visit to Atlanta. She sent us pictures, gave us updates, and we can tell our dogs were in great care. One of our dogs is elderly so it was great that there were no stairs in Maya's place. We know our dogs has a good time and we'd love to use Maya if we're ever in Atlanta again! Thanks, Maya!!”

“I loveeeeeeeddd Josh! I was so nervous to leave my dog with someone other than family but Josh quickly became family for Saint. He sent constant updates with pictures and videos of Saint playing with friends and running around the yard. It helped me stay calm during the stay. I can't wait to send him back over there with his new friends. Thank you again so much Josh!”

“My pups were the happiest! Enjoyed their stay and had a relaxed time while we were able to do some shopping at ikea while visiting in Atlanta! They even had a fancy leather puppy sofa for them to chill on! Thank you!!! From Penelope and Mafalda”

About: Hi there! I’m Azin, and I’m a huge animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs. I absolutely love spending time with them, whether it’s playing, petting, or just hanging out – it truly makes my day. I’ve always taken any opportunity to care for animals, especially my sister’s dogs, and I’m very familiar with small breeds like mini poodles and maltipoos. I’m always eager to share that love with others. I live in a pet-friendly neighborhood with a fetch park just a short walk from my apartment, so I can bring dogs there to play and relax. Plus, my area is very walkable, making it perfect for daily walks and outdoor fun! As for my schedule, I’m currently working full-time from home on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends, which means I have plenty of time to take care of dogs and play with them on those days. As for my home, it’s located in a very safe building and a secure, pet-friendly area. I’ve made sure my apartment is a comfortable and safe space for dogs, with a fenced-in balcony that’s perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. I take great care in ensuring every dog feels comfortable, secure, and loved while they’re with me.
“Mikyah has been so great! My pup is sweet but he suffers from separation anxiety. She’s been helping him adjust to my new rto schedule with such patience and grace! As the weeks have gone by he’s been feeling more comfortable and I’m glad I can trust my pup with such a great sitter!”

About: I’ve got years of experience hanging out with all kinds of furry friends, from bouncy puppies who are full of energy to senior pets who enjoy the slower life. What sets me apart? I’m like a personal concierge for your pets! Whether it’s giving a shy kitty their space or working on leash manners with your pup, I’m here to cater to their unique quirks. Need someone who’s a pro at giving meds or handling those pets with a little anxiety? No problem! I’ve got calming treats, CBD, and plenty of snuggles in my toolkit. Your pets won’t just get a sitter—they’ll get a new best friend who knows how to make them feel right at home. Since I work from home, pet care easily fits into my daily schedule. My 9-5 job allows me to be present throughout the day, ensuring your pets get plenty of attention and care. I take regular breaks for walks, playtime, and cuddles, and can stick to their specific feeding, walking, or medication routines. Even with an active social life, I prioritize pets by staying overnight at your home during house sits. For house sitting, I provide consistent care throughout the day thanks to my flexible work from home schedule. I also have an active social life and see friends on weeknights and weekends, but I make sure to spend the nights at your home to keep your pets feeling safe and secure. With years of experience in both house and pet sitting, I’m confident your pets will be in good hands. I look forward to providing them with lots of love, attention, and care!
“Jose took great care of my dog. He has a good setup for daycare and she really enjoyed all the toys. He was communicative and flexible with pickup/drop off timing. I would definitely use him again for dog care.”

“Thank you Cassandra for making Tashi feel welcome....he looked very happy in the photos. Since he will have an over night stay next week, daycare was a good way for him to get to know you and your place.”

About: I have been in the animal industry for about 10+ years. In 2020, I got my Veterinarian Technician Certification, while I was working as a store manager at a Petsense in Athens, GA. I then started working for a mobile vet clinic, Shotvet. I worked with all sorts of breeds of cats & dogs. I have 2 cats & a dog of my own. So your paw friends have paw friends. We offer a pet friendly environment! I am a full time pet sitter & walker. I give most of my time to this field. The times that I'm unable to offer pet care would be times like grocery shopping, any time I'd have to make an errand. Little things! I'm super passionate, compassionate, & empathetic about animals. I put all animals health & safety before my own. If they are not okay, I'm not okay & must do something about it as soon as I catch it. I feed & walk them as soon as I wake up, every morning at 7AM. I then give them some play time in my communities dog park, I offer dog training as well. So with that, I'll spend some time working on training. Especially if requested by pet owners. I walk them again around 10AM-12PM, & then I feed them again around 2PM, walk them around 3PM, some more play time to fill in the gaps, then I walk them again around 7PM for an hour around my community, give them extra dog park play time, & then we come back in my home & relax. I'm super on top of my schedule & on top of their health.
“Sherraina was wonderful for my first experience sending Bailey to someone else’s house for doggy day care. We were hosting family events at our house and having this option instead of boarding was so helpful. Sherraina was very responsive within Rover app and accommodated my request for her to pick Bailey up. We went for a short walk together to get her acclimated before leaving with a strange, but Bailey immediately seemed to sense Sherraina’s calming demeanor and experience boarding other dogs, and Bailey was happy to hop in her car. I just packed Bailey a bag with water bowl, dog bed, some treats and a toy. Sherraina sent me a photo on the Rover card. I would definitely book her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in middle school. Dogs always seem to love me and, even in my household growing up, I was always their favorite and who they depended on. I’m 6 foot and muscular so I’m especially good with big dogs but also love small ones. I’ve probably watched pit mixes the most though. All in all, your dog is in good hands. I have plenty of free time as I work on my own schedule. I give my own dog multiple walks and time for attention that a regular 9-5 wouldn’t permit. I have a small dog to keep your dog company. She doesn’t bite or bark. I stay on the backside of my apartment and the first floor so if they’re ever over, it’s quick and easy to take them out to use the restroom.
“Edward was great! I appreciate how flexible and communicative he was. Took great care of my dog and sent a lot of pics to keep me updated which I really liked. I highly recommend and will be reaching out again!”

“Tomomi and her dog Cooper are so great with my dog Luna! I appreciate the flexibility and ability to accommodate last minute requests. And it’s not to not have to worry about my sweet girl because I know she is taken care of!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Woodland Hills
Olivia was awesome. I was nervous dropping off Murmaid but Olivia put my mind at ease. She was accommodating, kind and confident. She sent pictures updating the activities during the day. It was a plus that Murmaid had fun playing with Olivia’s dog, Bagel. It was an overall great experience for me and Murmaid. It was our first Rover experience. I highly recommend Olivia! I will book her again when in the area.

My dog, Betina, had a great daycare visit. I received text updates and pictures that let me know she was well cared for and content. She was very relaxed and peaceful when I picked her up so I could not have asked for more. Amanda provided sensitive and attentive care - I could tell she enjoys dogs and Amanda and Alexander have a very dog-friendly and welcoming home.

Lori was wonderful at caring for our fur babies while we visited the Aquarium. This was our first experience leaving then with someone they weren't familiar with, and it went great. She was very good with sending updates and pictures. You could tell they got plenty of attention and we're very comfortable with Lori.

Linda and her partner were amazing hosts for my new puppy, Leo! He absolutely loved them. They were excellent communicators, showed him so much care, and even helped a bit with potty training. This was my first experience using a sitter, and I would absolutely book with them again. Thank you both so much for all of your help with Leo!

Jada was wonderful with my boys! She came to pick them up, was very warm, and my boys went to her straight away. Throughout the day, she sent me updates and cute photos of them. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. Thanks so much for treating my angel babies so well!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Woodland Hills commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
