Pet care experience

Reliable couple for dog care

We both grew up around dogs and genuinely love being around them. I was raised in the presence of dogs, and my partner was the president of an animal rescue club in Shanghai, giving us hands-on experience with dogs of different personalities, needs, and energy levels. We’re calm, attentive, and believe consistency and kindness are the foundation of good care.

Justin and Jiayi were so so sweet. They kept us updated with how Sadie was doing. Will definitely book with them again.

Justin and Jiayi stayed at our house to watch our dog. They handled her long morning runs flawlessly. Justin even tracked her walk distances because we mentioned she needs at least 5 miles a day. Our home was spotless when we returned, and Luna seemed genuinely relaxed. They also brought in our mail and watered the plants without us even having to remind them. Extremely responsible and thoughtful sitters.

We left our French bulldog, Coco, with Justin and Jiayi for five nights. Coco tends to overheat easily, and they were careful to avoid long midday walks and kept the AC on consistently. They even sent us a short video of her playing indoors on a hot afternoon. One thing that impressed me was how communicative they were — they asked thoughtful questions about her habits and preferred walking routes. Coco came home happy, and I could tell she had been treated like part of their family. Highly, highly recommend.

Justin and Jiayi watched our beagle for a long weekend. When we came home, Oliver seemed energized but not overtired, which is the perfect balance for him. It was obvious they took time to understand his personality.

Our dog Bruno can be shy with new people, but Jiayi won him over within minutes by sitting on the floor and letting him approach her at his own pace. By day two, he was cuddling on the couch with both of them. They followed his feeding routine carefully (he has a sensitive stomach) and stuck to the exact brand of treats we provided. We especially appreciated the detailed updates about how he interacted with other dogs during walks. It’s clear they genuinely care about animal behavior and comfort.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

We both work fully remote, which allows us to be home throughout the day. This gives us plenty of flexibility for multiple walks, regular pee breaks, playtime, and exercise, without rushing or long stretches alone. Dogs are part of our daily rhythm rather than something fitted in between meetings.

Safety, trust & environment

We provide care together in a calm, structured home, with at least one of us always present. We live directly next to Piedmont Park and have a dog park in our building, allowing for safe, unrushed outdoor time tailored to each dog. We follow feeding, walking, and house routines exactly as instructed and communicate clearly, so you can feel confident your dog is comfortable, secure, and genuinely cared for.

A typical day

Our day usually starts with a morning walk or light jog in Piedmont Park. After that, we work from our home office while the dog settles in nearby. During the day, we use breaks between work to play with the dog in the apartment and go out regularly for potty breaks at our building’s fenced dog park. Dogs are never left alone for long and get frequent attention. In the evening, depending on the weather and the dog’s energy, we enjoy a longer walk, relaxed playtime, or quiet time at home to wind down before dinner and bedtime.

Please let us know if your dog has any special needs, medical conditions, medications, or behaviors we should be aware of. We’re happy to follow specific routines and instructions, the more we know, the better care we can provide. It’s important that your dog is comfortable in an apartment setting (946 sq ft) and can handle a shared building environment. While we don’t have dogs of our own, your dog should be generally friendly with other dogs, as we may encounter them during walks or at the building’s fenced dog park. Other helpful things to share include feeding schedule and portion sizes, leash behavior, energy level, comfort being left alone for short periods, and any triggers (noise, strangers, elevators, etc.). Clear communication upfront helps ensure a smooth, safe, and stress-free stay for everyone.
