“We had a great experience with Josh! His two pups are sweet and well behaved and Cora loved it there! Josh is super attentive and communicative, and it was great to see how comfortable Cora could feel right away running around in their wonderful outdoor space. Thanks Josh!”

“Kristen and Jason have been so accommodating and flexible with my schedule. They are watching my young puppy Sutter who is loving the time spent in a large fenced in backyard being socialized with other dogs. I will definitely continue to reach out to them to watch my pup! Highly recommend.”
“I needed a last minute sitter to watch my dog, who’s experiencing separation anxiety due to my new work schedule. Andrew responded quickly and he took great care of her and kept her company while I was away. Your pet is in good hands with Andrew!”

“Thank you Cassandra for making Tashi feel welcome....he looked very happy in the photos. Since he will have an over night stay next week, daycare was a good way for him to get to know you and your place.”

About: As a marine biologist, I love and adore all animals. Ever since I grew up, I have always had family pet(s) -- a dog (Golden Retriever, Shitzu, Lhasa Apso) and cat at the same time. My current cats are rescues Tip and Tiny, domestic black cats age 12, and they would love to interact with kittens or puppies! I have volunteer experience with wildlife, sea life/ aquarium cleaning, and domestic house fur babies. I am comfortable administering medication/cleaning of wounds to pets of all ages. I'm not sure what is worse, scooping poop or picking up poop! I'm happy to do either! Walks near Inman Park, Stn Mtn, or the beltline can be expected with me as your dog walker! Open availability during weekdays and Saturdays. This includes feeding, exercise, and grooming of pets or visiting new green spaces. Treats and medication are normal routine. My pets at home eat prescription brand food and I would care for any other client's pet that needs special care as well. I have volunteered at several animal places before like PetCo, Pelican Harbor Station, and the Marine Mammal Rescue Society so I have a unique skill set in caring for animals.
“Javier took such great care of my dog! She slept the whole entire next day lol. She's a high energy dog and I think she played to her little heart's content. Javier is very pleasant to work with.”

“Jazmyn was a lifesaver during our visit to Atlanta. Jazmyn navigated unexpected changes professionally and with compassion. I highly recommend Jazmyn for any pet care needs.”

About: Hi! I’m Taylor, a lifelong animal lover and proud dog parent to my pup, Zora. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I treat every animal in my care like they’re my own. I’m patient, attentive, and great at reading animal body language. Whether your dog is high-energy and playful or more on the shy, anxious side, I take the time to meet them where they’re at and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m especially experienced with: Dogs with separation anxiety Puppies who are still learning manners I believe in clear communication, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement. You’ll always get updates, photos, and honest check-ins while you’re away. I know that peace of mind matters just as much as good care. I currently work from home full time, and dogs and cats truly mean the world to me. I structure my personal schedule around my pet care commitments so I can be fully present and reliable for every animal I care for. I love being outdoors, so walks, playtime, and hands-on pet care naturally fit into my daily routine. Caring for pets isn’t something I squeeze in, it’s a core part of my day and something I genuinely enjoy. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with a dog park, access to a connected trail system, and walking paths around a nearby lake, which makes it easy to provide safe, enriching outdoor time. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. For pets who experience separation anxiety or simply need a little extra security, I have an impact dog crate available for overnight stays or short periods when I step out. I only use it when appropriate and with owner approval, ensuring it feels like a calm, positive space. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining routines, following instructions closely, and creating a calm, predictable environment. I treat every pet and home with respect, and my goal is always to build trust, both with your pet and with you.
About: Hi! I'm Georgia, a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet caregiver. I've been providing pet care through Rover for the past 4–5 years, and it's become something I genuinely love doing. Caring for animals has not only allowed me to meet amazing pets and owners, but it also helped me bring home my own dog, Chanel, who means the world to me. I recently entered a new chapter of life. I gave college a try, but it wasn't the right path for me, so I've been focusing on figuring out what I want my future to look like while doing work that I truly enjoy. Throughout that journey, caring for pets has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood, overnight care, drop-in visits, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand how important trust is when leaving your furry family member with someone else, and I strive to make both pets and owners feel comfortable, safe, and cared for.
About: I've taken care of dogs and cats (often at the same time) since I was old enough to hold the leash and walk with one of my childhood family pups Hershey on my own. My spouse (Paroma) and I have fostered and rescued dogs and cats of all ages and sizes -- from rambunctious puppies and kittens to senior fospice (foster hospice) cats and dogs -- since 2018. We currently have a Pitty-mix (Mako) our long-legged Jack Russell terrier/Chihuahua/Corgi (Boris) and a sweet orange cat named Cathulu (or Cat, for short). Our animal care philosophy is simple: when your animal is with us, I (we) ensure they know they're loved, well-fed, and have plenty of play time, walks, and/or good company, no matter where they are. I am currently available for full time dog/cat sitting (our house boarding or in your house overnights), in-house/apartment visits, walks, play time, or anything besides certified training and grooming. I am available all seven calendar days in the week. I have a fenced yard, two sweet dogs and a cat to keep your creature company. If your dog or cat prefers their own space, I will absolutely ensure they have it in our home. When we schedule an appointment, I will gladly schedule a complimentary "meet and greet" for your pet(s) and I to get to know each other. During our "meet and greet," I'll ask you all of the questions related to your lovely pet's care. No "special need" or "quirk" will surprise me, so please feel free to share anything and everything with me as we meet and greet. I would be honored to take care of your sweet pet. They're family: they deserved to be treated like it.
About: I have been around pets since the age of one, so I am an avid animal lover. I have cared for the pets of family and friends, including my canine niece and nephew Jolene and Jhett and a shy cat named Leo. By tending to my dog Sasha for 12 wonderful years, I gained experience in administering medications (oral and topical) and palliative care. After her passing, I decided to give back to my community by fostering dogs and volunteering with the Lifeline Animal Project. I work from home, so I am able to provide around-the-clock care for your fur baby. I can give multiple walks throughout the day and adequate play time. Additionally, due to the flexibility of my schedule, I am able to travel to your place to provide walks or care if that is a more desirable option. I reside in a gated apartment complex that has a dog park. I also live very close to Lenox Park and Brookhaven Park that I would be happy to take your pup to. I am in close proximity to a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic. Pets are welcome anywhere inside my home, especially on the couch for cuddles. I can host up to two pets at time, but I will not host another animal during your pet’s stay if that is your preference.
About: Hi! I’m Faith, a lifelong animal lover who’s spent years caring for family and friends’ pets. I don’t currently have pets of my own, but I grew up around animals and genuinely love spending time with them. I recently moved to the city, and pet sitting and boarding give me the chance to do what I enjoy while helping pet parents feel at ease. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to follow your pet’s routine while providing plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention. Your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I live at the apartment community where I work, so I’m close by and available throughout the day. This allows me to check in on your pet often, provide playtime and potty breaks, and make sure they’re comfortable and cared for at all times. Because I’m on-site most of the day, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow their usual routine for meals, potty breaks, and naps, and give plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention. I also have access to a dog park for extra exercise and fun. Your pet will be happy, cared for, and treated like part of the family while you’re away.
“Addison and Joshua took such amazing care of our three-month old puppy Bug! They continuously provided updates and pictures and we felt so at ease that he was in such great hands. They were extremely responsive if we had any questions! Bug also loved playing with their dog Kona, which was such a great experience for the little guy. He came back exhausted both days from having so much fun! HIGHLY recommend them!”

About: I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all pet care. After 16 years caring for my own dog through every stage of life, I learned that every dog has their own personality, quirks, and needs. I take the time to understand your dog’s routine, preferences, and comfort level so they receive thoughtful, individualized care and feel safe, happy, and at home while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, allowing me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. My apartment community also has plenty of green space, making it easy to give dogs regular outdoor time and exercise while keeping them on a consistent routine. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special preferences to help your dog feel comfortable and secure. In my home, dogs also have access to a dog-proofed balcony where they can safely relax and enjoy fresh air under my supervision. I’ll provide regular photo and video updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
About: I’ve got years of experience hanging out with all kinds of furry friends, from bouncy puppies who are full of energy to senior pets who enjoy the slower life. What sets me apart? I’m like a personal concierge for your pets! Whether it’s giving a shy kitty their space or working on leash manners with your pup, I’m here to cater to their unique quirks. Need someone who’s a pro at giving meds or handling those pets with a little anxiety? No problem! I’ve got calming treats, CBD, and plenty of snuggles in my toolkit. Your pets won’t just get a sitter—they’ll get a new best friend who knows how to make them feel right at home. Since I work from home, pet care easily fits into my daily schedule. My 9-5 job allows me to be present throughout the day, ensuring your pets get plenty of attention and care. I take regular breaks for walks, playtime, and cuddles, and can stick to their specific feeding, walking, or medication routines. Even with an active social life, I prioritize pets by staying overnight at your home during house sits. For house sitting, I provide consistent care throughout the day thanks to my flexible work from home schedule. I also have an active social life and see friends on weeknights and weekends, but I make sure to spend the nights at your home to keep your pets feeling safe and secure. With years of experience in both house and pet sitting, I’m confident your pets will be in good hands. I look forward to providing them with lots of love, attention, and care!

We had a great experience with Josh! His two pups are sweet and well behaved and Cora loved it there! Josh is super attentive and communicative, and it was great to see how comfortable Cora could feel right away running around in their wonderful outdoor space. Thanks Josh!

They were amazing! We needed someone to watch our pup very last minute, and they were incredibly responsive and accommodating. They sent us so many pictures and videos throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind, and kept us updated the whole time. It was clear Biskit was well cared for and in great hands. We would definitely book with them again if we’re ever back in the area. Highly recommend!
Linda and her partner were amazing hosts for my new puppy, Leo! He absolutely loved them. They were excellent communicators, showed him so much care, and even helped a bit with potty training. This was my first experience using a sitter, and I would absolutely book with them again. Thank you both so much for all of your help with Leo!

Jada was wonderful with my boys! She came to pick them up, was very warm, and my boys went to her straight away. Throughout the day, she sent me updates and cute photos of them. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. Thanks so much for treating my angel babies so well!

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
