“Emilie is honestly the best! She’s incredibly easy to work with, is super friendly, and does a great job with my kitty! She always leaves detailed rover reports with lots of pictures and I know my baby is getting the best care and all the love when Emilie watches him!”
“Jessica was AMAZING!!! She came with such short notice and really gave me so much relief while I was away from home and had another pet sitter cancel:( So beyond grateful for her !”

“Stacy did a wonderful job. Both of my cats took to her right away, and she was able to administer eye drops to the elderly one with ease. I'll definitely be using her again. Thank you Stacy!”

About: I’ve personally taken care of kittens and senior cats and have been walking dogs and pet sitting for neighbors and friends since I was 10. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and I also have some experience with shy/reactive dogs. I’m happy to follow your pets routines and put their safety and wellbeing above all else. I’m currently studying Biology at GCSU, but I’m home for the summer. I currently have 2 cats at home and I treat them like part of my family. I always make sure that they eat on schedule and that their fountain water is clean and fresh to maintain hydration. I’ll treat all pets like my own and I’m very excited to meet some new friends! I just finished up my sophomore year of college and am currently applying for jobs. My schedule is very open until June 8th, so I’m happy to find a date and time that caters to your schedule. I do have a fenced backyard, although I’d prefer to care for pets at their home where they are most comfortable or care for them outside of the home.

“Ryan is great with our dog Wylder. He drops in over the weekend and takes him for walks/potty breaks. He sends photos of him playing and info on what they did. Wylder definitely seems happier and calmer since Ryan has been dropping in.”

“Danielle is amazing! She truly goes the extra mile to ensure the most pleasant visit for your fur baby. Danielle is extremely sweet and accommodating with your needs. I would 100% trust my baby, mardi, with her during my next trip. 😁”

“Allison was amazing! She was willing to come over prior to my booking to meet the cats, which made everything so much easier! The cats had a great time with her. Will definitely be booking with her again!!”

“Ella was amazing! She sent fantastic photos every day and I felt very comforted knowing she was taking care of Momo for me. Communication was also awesome and definitely will book again. Thanks Ella!!!”

“Grace made this process so easy, from start to finish. She was super easy to communicate with and made sure to regularly send updates throughout her visits! I would definitely recommend her, my cat was so comfortable with her!”

“This was our first time using Rover - Megan was outstanding!! She made us feel super comfortable by doing a quick meet and greet first. She also wrote thorough reviews and sent great photos throughout the weekend. We would absolutely use her again. Highly recommend!!”

“Scar is simply the best. My two skittish kitties warmed up to them so quickly! Took excellent care of my babies, is always prompt and professional, with great communication. Very clear they love animals, and my kitties seem so comfortable with them. Will definitely keep booking as long as we can!”

“Virginia was very sweet with our Shipoo. She was very attentive and responsive, sending us photos every day of them playing. We will definitely use Virginia again in the future. Thank you!!”

“Caitlyn has been a blessing . Bubbles is a 7yerar old dog and won’t walk with almost any dog walker but with Caitlyn , she walks so easily . I’m so impressed by her and couldn’t recommend her enough”

About: I am a dog owner myself. I love and respect the companionship of our furry friends. I have provided dog walking services to puppies and full grown dogs as well as overnight sitter services to pups and cats in NYC and Virginia. I recently relocated to Georgia for personal family reasons and am very much enjoying the southern life:). I am looking to get back into part-time dog walking as I truly find joy and peace in walking with our furry friends. I am comfortable with all types of dogs and am physically capable of handling dogs up to 60lbs. I can teach your dog basic tricks if you wish...sit, down, paw, roll over. I believe in positive reinforcement when handling your pet. Looking forward to meeting your furry companion, you can rest assured I will treat them as if they were my own! I currently work full-time Monday -friday. I am remote Mondays and Fridays. I am fully available Saturday and Sundays. Mondays and Fridays I can do drop ins morning and mid afternoon as needed. My home has a large fully fenced in backtard. In clients home I will follow clients instructions as dictated for the care of their furry family member.

Scar is always amazing! They take care of our dogs and cat’s needs including lots of love and attention! They give plenty of communication and you can just tell they love the animals and want the best for them! This is our second time booking with Scar and we will book again.

Georga did a wonderful job caring for our dog and 2 cats while we were out of town for a week. Our pets got along well with her, even our more shy cat who warmed up to her quickly. She let us know how each pet was doing after each visit, followed the instructions for each one, and kept their areas tidy. We would definitely recommend her and be happy to have her drop in on them again!

Renee did a fantastic job watching my two cats for 12 days! I was very nervous to use Rover as it was my first time, and the longest I had ever left my cats. Renee went above and beyond by completing a meet and greet before the booking, and took extensive notes on each step of pet care that we required. During the booking she sent multiple pictures for each visit as well as notes about how they were doing. She also stayed longer than the booked time during multiple visits. Upon return my cats seemed very content and looked well taken care of. I would definitely recommend and would rebook in the future if needed!

Ashley has been an incredible dog walker and cat sitter for our family. She is reliable, professional, punctual, kind, and genuinely caring. We completely trust her with our dog, Rufus, and our cat, Miso. She always follows our instructions carefully and takes the time to make sure both of our pets receive the care and attention they need. It's clear that she truly loves animals, and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing they're in such capable hands whenever we're away. Ashley is dependable, compassionate, and consistently goes above and beyond. We are so grateful to have found her and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and exceptional to care for their pets!

Zhiyu always does a fantastic job! My cats love her, and she communicates every step of the way, providing updates and photos that give me complete peace of mind. She’s reliable, caring, and goes above and beyond. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter!

Emily was an absolute lifesaver for my bonded brothers, Reggie and Dexter! This was my first time leaving them since adopting them from a rescue, and given their background as feral kittens, I was incredibly nervous. Emily was amazing. She became fast friends with Reggie right away. While Dexter was too timid to interact, Emily respected his space while still going out of her way to ensure he was fully cared for. The daily photo updates and detailed notes completely put my mind at ease. I will absolutely be booking with her again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in North Druid Hills. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
