About: Growing up with dogs big and small, I know how different each pup's personality can be. I love long walks and playtime for dogs with higher energy, and I've been trusted to care for a variety of different pets by friends and neighbors since I could drive. From bottle-feeding my rescue kitten to caring for senior pups who have lost function of their limbs, I understand the unique needs of each animal and the importance of their individual routines. I'm currently working part-time, so my schedule is very flexible, and I am able to accommodate last minute appointments and I am available weekends. I'm comfortable caring for crated and uncrated dogs. Given the Georgia heat in the summer, I know a lot of dogs can get uncomfortable, so I always pay attention to body language and carry water with me in case we need a break when having outside time.
“Jessica was AMAZING!!! She came with such short notice and really gave me so much relief while I was away from home and had another pet sitter cancel:( So beyond grateful for her !”

“Emilie was very kind and did everything I asked! She really helped me because I was stuck at work and my original sitter canceled. Thank you so much for helping my puppers! :)”

“I can’t say enough great things about Elizabeth. She came prepared to our meet and greet with a through list of questions about my cat and our home. She was a great communicator and kept me up to date on what was going on with my cat and sent pictures every day. She even brought in my mail, watered my plants, and took out the trash before she left on her last visit. It’s obvious that my cat loved his time with her. I won’t hesitate to use her services again!”

“Megan did an incredible job - following instructions, sending cute photos and lovely messages to describe the visit - giving me great peace of mind during a long trip away. I will definitely be rebooking Megan in the future. Great job Megan! You are a life saver.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - North Druid Hills
Nancy has been absolutely wonderful as a sitter for our kitten these past few weeks. She is always timely, communicative, and proactive with our little menace of a kitten. She truly is someone who loves what she does, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose her to be our sitter. 100/10 would recommend.

Tanisha is the best with kittie ❤️ My Bonnie girl loves her so so much and always so excited when she comes to take care of her. She’s always on time and genuinely loves animals. Brownie points for her watering my plants when I was out of town 🌻 I will always book with her

My first experience with Rover and happy to have found Emilie..She was very reliable, arrived on time each day and followed the guide we left for feeding etc, While he would not come out of his hiding spot under the bed, despite treat offers, she spent time sitting nearby and playing music and talking to him. Though I hated leaving him alone, her daily reports helped me feel reassured. Definitely recommend Emilie!

Remington took wonderful care of my dog and cat while I was away, and I came home to happy, well-cared-for animals. He provided lots of photos and summaries. I really appreciated the updates because they gave me peace of mind throughout my trip and I’ll definitely be booking again.

Georga did a wonderful job caring for our dog and 2 cats while we were out of town for a week. Our pets got along well with her, even our more shy cat who warmed up to her quickly. She let us know how each pet was doing after each visit, followed the instructions for each one, and kept their areas tidy. We would definitely recommend her and be happy to have her drop in on them again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
