“Ryan is great with our dog Wylder. He drops in over the weekend and takes him for walks/potty breaks. He sends photos of him playing and info on what they did. Wylder definitely seems happier and calmer since Ryan has been dropping in.”

“Grace took great care of Lulu! She was communicative, flexible and provided updates with pictures. I could tell Lulu was very happy with her visits. I will definitely be having Grace come back again to watch Lulu and would recommend her to others!”

“Scar is great! This was our second time booking them and we'll continue being repeat clients. They are punctual, conscientious, and especially great with our medically needy cat. It's such a relief knowing our cats are being cared for by Scar when we're out of town.”

“Ella is the BEST. She is responsible, warm, thoughtful, and reliable. She took excellent care of our cat while we were away - I had total peace of mind that he was being lovingly cared for!”
“Amazing pet sitter! He sent pics and detailed reports every check in. My cat was in great hands with him. He was even able to give my cat his meds. 10/10 recommend Remington to take care of your fur babies.”
“Virginia was very sweet with our Shipoo. She was very attentive and responsive, sending us photos every day of them playing. We will definitely use Virginia again in the future. Thank you!!”

“Jessica was amazing with my dogs! They can be challenging, and they absolutely love her! She is wonderful and provides time with each of my 3 dogs. She is extremely patient and affectionate! I will definitely ask her to watch them many more times in the future! Thank you so much!!!”

“Megan did an incredible job - following instructions, sending cute photos and lovely messages to describe the visit - giving me great peace of mind during a long trip away. I will definitely be rebooking Megan in the future. Great job Megan! You are a life saver.”

About: I am organized and reliable. I have had dogs since I was a little kid, and have experience walking big dogs that pull and little dogs that need breaks. I am currently training for a half marathon and would be happy to take your dog on a short run or long walk! I am able to keep up with crazy puppies or just relax with lazy dogs that need endless petting. I’m currently home for the summer from college. I am taking a summer class online. So, if you want someone to stay at home with your animals while you’re gone, I can take my schoolwork with me and keep them company, as well as lots of play and walk breaks. I am willing to play with dogs outside in a fenced yard or go on a walk with a leash. I am used to opening and closing doors to ensure no dogs try to run.

“Danielle is amazing! She truly goes the extra mile to ensure the most pleasant visit for your fur baby. Danielle is extremely sweet and accommodating with your needs. I would 100% trust my baby, mardi, with her during my next trip. 😁”

“We love Emma and so do our pets 🥹 Rosie hates storms/rain and I am sure was not the easiest to take out and yet Emma succeeded without issue. Will continue booking her whenever we go out of town!”

“Elizabeth was very communicative and took great care of our kitties, including our special needs senior cat. I was very nervous to leave him, but Elizabeth made sure to get him his meds and keep me updated on how he was doing. I would definitely hire her to watch them again.”

About: I have lived with cats my whole life and have great attention to detail for them. I am also experienced with dogs of different ages and sizes. The most important thing to me is that your pet is happy and healthy. I am open to any opportunites, I have also taken care of chickens and rabbits. I also can take care of plants and maintain the house if you are away. I am currently not working so I am able to devote a lot of my attention to your beloved pets. I am very flexible and always try to communicate if there is an issue or I don't know something. I am always free on weekdays but I may have limited availability on the weekends. I always take care of the space I am in and try to leave it cleaner than I found it. And of course the pets are the main focus and the center of attention! I am very good at following written instructions and if I have any questions I will always ask.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - North Druid Hills
Remington is such an amazing sitter! Incredibly kind and goes out of his way to help when he doesn’t have to. For example, my kitten smashed our glass soap dispenser in our sink and he (without hesitation) picked up all the pieces and tossed them to prevent any kitty injuries! I was recommended Remington by a friend who also had a great experience, and he definitely exceeded expectations! 10/10 recommend!!

Emilie is super easy to work with, responsive, and leaves awesome checkin notes and pictures. She went above and beyond helping check an AC issue during the last few visits, which I greatly appreciate. I feel totally safe leaving her in care of my cat, and definitely recommend her.

Reese was great! He took care of both of my bunnies and did an amazing job, and if you’re a bunny parent you know how fragile they can be and how nerve wracking it can be to leave them alone! He seemed to bond with them quickly and I always felt they were in great hands.

Kharrington was great! She followed all of the directions I left for my shy cat, made sure she was fed, and gave her attention with pets and brushing during the check-ins. I felt comfortable knowing my cat was being cared for while I was away. I would definitely use Kharrington again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in North Druid Hills. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
