“Stacy was awesome and very caring! The first time my kitty met her she immediately went up to her which is unusual, since my kitty is very standoffish at first. This made me feel comfortable! Stacy was also super nice and a great communicator. I will definitely be booking with her again! Thank you again Stacy!!!”

“We absolutely love her. She has such a great personality, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. My favorite part is seeing my pup on the camera waiting by the door for her to arrive for their play date. That alone says everything. He’s happy, excited, and well cared for, which gives me so much peace of mind. I’m so glad we found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving with their pets.”

“Carlia and Talia were terrific with our new puppy (2.5 weeks). They were incredible thoughtful and attentative to him for the 3 drop-ins a day that we needed. While at work we were completely at ease with the care and love he was receiving, and you can't get better than that - thank you Talia and Carla!”

“A 5 star rating for Stacie! She met my fur baby before to make sure she knew the ends and outs of her care. I felt so comfortable when I was away knowing my pet was in great care. Stacie has a passion to make your fur baby feel comfortable and well cared for. I am very happy with Stacie's service.”

“Debra always takes such good care of our babies! We have 2 kitties and she plays with them, checks their water & food, scoops the litter and even goes above and beyond with checking our mail and bringing it in the house.”

“Jax is great. She is reliable and we feel at ease when she takes care of our 2 sweet doggies. She is very responsive, understands what our dogs’ needs are, and always sends pictures to check in. We are so grateful to have found her both for our overnight care and our daily drop ins when needed.”

“Solange took excellent care of our cat Rupi. She was attentive and communication was great. Our cat takes time to trust strangers and Solange was very patient and let Rupi warm up to her. Thank you for looking after our girl!”

“Peggy was amazing! She took great care of my cats and sent daily updates with pics. She also went above and beyond to make sure they (and my home) were safe during freezing weather”

“Dan was wonderful and so great with our girls! He was attentive and patient with everyone and we can’t wait to work with him again in the future! Awesome individual to work with!”

“Andre is great! He was very attentive to our cats needs and followed the directions we provided him. He sent us many pictures of our kitties while we were away and gave very detailed reports of each visit. We will definitely use him again and highly recommended his services! Thank you Andre!”

“Alexandria was awesome! She is knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. She goes above and beyond expectations and is very accommodating. No question…would use her again 1000x over! She is way more than she charges💕”

“Mirabella did a wonderful job checking in on our cats on short notice. She kept the dishes full, cleaned the boxes, and provided photos of the ones she managed to spot. Will book again!”

“Julianna has been an amazing pet sitter for my dog Tommy and kitten Oreo. She is an exceptional communicator and has a very keen eye for details. I know I can travel stress free if Julianna is taking care of my loved ones. Recently, Julianna noticed Oreo wasn’t being as playful as usual, I took him to the Vet and he was very constipated. I’m beginning to think Tommy and Oreo prefer Julianna over me!”

“Couldn’t recommend Elizabeth enough! She was watched my dog and 2 cats while I traveled internationally. She was incredibly accommodating and communicative. This was our first time leaving our dog for so long and she did a wonderful job of making him feel comfortable and relaxed. One of my cats also is usually incredibly shy around strangers and Elizabeth is the only sitter I’ve used from Rover who he comes out for. Our flight got delayed and Elizabeth was very accommodating to the change in the schedule. We are so appreciative!”

“Kaitlyn was great with my sometimes ornery kitty, Peaches! I’ll be using her when I go to Clayton, GA to visit my sister! Such a relief to know pets are in good hands! Thank you, Kaitlyn & Rover!!!”

“Kamron was amazing, will definitely book again! He was very communicative and sent pics each visit, and two of my cats needed meds and he had no issue giving them (a pill, liquid oral med, and asthma inhaler). Highly recommend!”

“I am a first-time pet owner and this was the first time leaving my cat. Anna assuaged my anxieties with her careful attention to Inky’s needs. She was punctual and sent regular photos and updates. I will definitely be using her for future bookings (in fact, I have already re-booked her as a sitter for another upcoming trip).”

About: Hi! I'm Jacqueline, and I'd love to help care for your pets as if they were my own. As a lifelong animal lover, I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your furry family members. I had the privilege of sharing 15 wonderful years with my dog, and today I'm the proud pet parent of a playful 5-year-old cat. I also regularly pet sit for close friends for years now, caring for both dogs and cats while they're away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and happy while you're gone. Whether that means long walks, games of fetch, plenty of playtime, belly rubs, cuddles on the couch, or simply keeping them company, I'll tailor my care to your pet's personality and routine. I understand that every animal is different, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one feel comfortable and loved. I'm dependable, attentive, and believe pets deserve more than just the basics; they deserve companionship, affection, and someone who truly enjoys being with them. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring hands. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family member! I am available 7 days a week, daytime and evenings for quick drop-ins, extended hours, and overnight stays. As a cat and dog owner, I love caring for both types of pets! I am available to care for your pets in your home, whether that means a visit to care for them or staying in your home. My goal is to ensure the pet owner(s) and the pet(s) are comfortable and well taken care of.
“Kayla always takes such good care of our kitty! I really appreciate her detailed summary of the visits, cute pics, and she is very willing to accommodate any requests. Highly recommend!”

I don't own a car so I use public transit to get around the DMV area. I am a mature, responsible adult who just loves dogs and playing with them! I grew up and have lived with dogs most of my life, from lapdogs to Golden Retrievers. I did some dog walking and dog sitting in high school. I'm currently available any time most days as long as I have at least 24-hour notice. I will come on the days and times you want as long as those are clearly communicated. I will play with your pets in the areas you tell me are appropriate to play with them. If you say any areas are off-limits, I will respect that. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Belvedere Park
We've left a review before, but we're always happy to know when Anna is able to cat sit for us. So please take another 5 stars! She leaves such sweet reports of the day, and notices the small things. Our old kitty injures herself easily, so knowing that she's keeping an eye on her body and behavior really gives me peace of mind. Thank you, Anna!

I was dealing with a medical crisis when I made my first booking with Rover and their sitter, Jax. Jax jumped right in and coached me through the process so I could get to the hospital. My 2 dogs & 2 indoor feral cats are rescues, seniors and have behavioral and/or medical special needs. The second I walked in the house they were stress-free, so I knew they felt as comfortable and safe as I did with Jax..One of my dogs went outside ears up, tongue out, smiling expecting to find Jax. They went way above and beyond giving me a chance to concentrate on my health.

Kamron was great - very communicative and sent me timely updates on both kitties. Lots of pictures (which are always appreciated) and I could tell our friendlier cat was happy to spend time with them. Will definitely book with Kamron again in the future, if available!

Fantastic sitter! Deb took great care of my cats while I was away and gave me peace of mind throughout my trip. I really appreciated the updates and photos from each visit. I came home to two happy, well-cared-for cats. I will definitely book Deb again and highly recommend her as a sitter!

Jeremy was a wonderful pet sitter! This was the third time we’ve trusted him to care for our cats, and once again, he did an excellent job. He was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared for them as if they were his own. We came home to happy, well-cared-for cats, and everything was just as we left it. We highly recommend Jeremy to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable pet sitter. Thank you again for taking such great care of our furry family!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Belvedere Park. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
