About: Hello, I’m Fern (Magdalen) I love animals, I find them to be the most pure little buddies. I have experience with leash pullers and dog reactive dogs. I have experience with cats with medical needs such as administering pills, ear drops, ointments and syringe feedings. I find that pets respond best when you speak to them like they’re human. I enjoy sticking to routine with pets and I ensure pups get plenty of stimulation! I work Mondays through Thursdays 7am-5:30pm. I work remotely Mondays and Wednesdays. I am available to house sit Fridays-Mondays. I am available for walks Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends. Depending on distance, morning and midday walks are tricky unless I am house sitting. I pay attention to the animal’s needs. I tend to talk to the pet as if they were a person. I find animals respond well to it and it helps establish trust. I enjoy playing with both cats and dogs. Extra enrichment when the owner is away is key to help relieve pent up anxieties. I love long walks with dogs. I am good with routines and adhere closely to the guidelines set by the owner.

About: Having grown up with dogs and cats since I can remember, I've also grown to love them. From Dachshunds to Huskies to Pitt mixes and even tabbies, I've cared for all kinds and would love to meet more! I'm an active person, so you can be sure I'll take your dog for a walk or run, but if calm yoga is more their speed, I'll be happy to downward dog while they sleep on the couch. A few of my dogs required medicine when I was younger, so I have experience with administering medicine including pills and injections. They were well taken care of and lived long lives, so I can also care for your furry, geriatric family members. I am currently working part time with few, short shifts, so I have plenty of time to spend caring for all manner of pets and have great flexibility when needed. As a veteran and healthcare worker, I'm good in a crisis, so trust that your pet is in good paws. And as I mentioned before, I can accommodate an active or calm environment as needed.
About: I’ve always had a dog since growing up. I love all breeds, small and large. I have also helped foster puppies. I currently don’t have a dog so am missing giving pets, walks, and playing. I am currently a student so I have an irregular schedule which allows me free time during the week and weekends. I frequently go on walks and would be able to easily add a dog to this routine. I do not have any pets in my home at this time. I can easily adjust to however owners ideally want their dog to be taken care of. Whether that is allowing them on the couch or no couch time at all I respect everyone’s own way of raising a pet!
