About: Hello, pet parents! My name is Alex and I'm a registered nurse turned full-time stay at home dog mom. I've decided to take a break from my nursing career to focus on my passion for animals. I grew up on a farm, surrounded by a variety of animals including dogs, cats, and horses, which has given me a wealth of experience in understanding and caring for pets. At home, I have a friendly French bulldog who is the king of my heart and gets along with everyone. He's always excited to meet new friends and your pet could be his next best buddy! As a nurse, I've developed a nurturing nature and a keen eye for detail, which I believe are essential when it comes to pet care. I understand that each pet is unique and requires personalized care and attention. I promise to treat your pet with the same love and respect I give to my own. My main goal is to provide a safe, fun, and loving environment for your pet. Whether it's playing fetch, going for walks, or simply providing companionship, I'm ready to make your pet feel at home. This venture is not just about earning some extra cash for my little Target trips, but more about indulging in my love for animals and providing my dog with some socialization opportunities. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member soon! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine as I am currently a full-time stay-at-home girlfriend. My day revolves around caring for and playing with my own dog. I have ample time and flexibility to accommodate various pet care needs, whether it's walking, feeding, playing, or just providing companionship. I am able to adjust my schedule to meet the specific needs of each pet I care for. This flexibility also allows me to respond promptly to any unexpected changes or emergencies. In essence, pet care is not just a part of my routine, it is my routine. In my home, pets are treated as part of the family. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex that has a designated, fenced dog relief area where pets can safely play and do their business. Inside my home, I have a comfortable crate available if your pet is used to being crated or if it's necessary for their comfort and safety. However, my own dog doesn't require it as he's well-behaved and comfortable in our home. I have a variety of toys to keep pets entertained and engaged. I believe in creating a warm and welcoming environment, so I allow pets on the furniture, including the couch and bed. I love cuddling with them and making them feel loved and secure. Hydration is important, so I provide filtered water for all pets in my care, just like I do for my own dog. I understand that as a pet parent, you might want to stay updated about your pet's day. I am more than happy to send frequent updates, pictures, and videos upon request. In essence, I strive to provide a home away from home for your pet, ensuring they are comfortable, safe, and happy during their stay.
“Julie was wonderful! We did a meet and greet and my dog felt so comfortable running around with her two dogs when we came back for her stay! Highly recommend !”
“Maggie took wonderful care of my sweet old boy. He has some special medical needs and she handled those with great care. We’re in our “bucket list” days with my senior guy, and I really appreciate her making sure Buddy was comfortable in a new environment.”
“Audrey watch my dogs for a few hours in anticipation of an eventual boarding. They are tiny and can initially be shy, so it was great that they got down on the ground to greet them and gave them little treats. Between the outside time and play, I don’t think the dogs really wanted to leave!”
“Ashley is so sweet and nice and had sent several update pictures and videos through out the day and even Christmas presents!! Mica had a great day at Ashley’s house, so happy we have found such a professional pet sitter on Christmas Eve. Thank you so much for taking care of Mica on this special day!”
Patrick & Alexander C.
“Great experience! Grover was well taken care of and got to play, felt like he had the best day while I was away! Would definitely recommend Patrick and Alexander!”
“Julia was so awesome! She was incredibly kind and helpful, she sent pictures and updates and was always available for any questions I had. My puppy was a happy and well loved pup for the day! Definitely coming back!!”
“Our experience with Jayla was exceptional! Leaving our furry family member with her was worry-free. Jayla provided a loving environment, daily updates, and went above and beyond to ensure our dog felt at home. We're beyond grateful for her care and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a trustworthy and loving dog sitter!”
Richard & Samma B.
“My Boxer puppy spent the day with Samma and she had a blast playing with the other dogs there. Samma did an introduction before hand and was very communicative during the day. She was so sweet with Mila!”
“Ezi and her family took excellent care of my baby Kiwi and I’m so grateful! Would have her stay with her new sisters in the future!”
“Jessica and her care exceeded my expectations. I was most impressed with her thorough (and super quick!) replies and detailed updates throughout the day. Also- SHE TAKES THE BEST PICTURES. Seriously...she should add dog photography to her services ;-) Her dog Toby is the sweetest and in general Jessica and Toby's spirit s are calm, easy going, warm and welcoming. Mingus loves it here and comes home perfectly tuckered out at the end of a stay. Jessica is currently my #1 go-to. Thank you!!!!”
“Maggie is worth every penny. She's been my go-to sitter and boarder for my shy foster dog, Bella. Bella has separation anxiety and is nervous about new people, so she doesn't love staying with a sitter... unless it's Maggie. Maggie is the only person who Bella literally runs away from me, wiggly and tail wagging, and practically doesn't look back to go with. She's an experienced trainer who understands dog behavior - your baby will be in very good hands with her.”
“Domonique is my go-to sitter for whenever I need someone to watch my cat. He can be pretty spicy so it's always a relief when Domonique is available because she has a way of always making him feel calm and at ease when I'm not around.”
About: Love hanging out with dogs, watching their unique personalities. Understand dogs are all different and require different things and that’s ok! Excited to meet your buddy. I work hybrid. Always available Fridays and typically Thursdays. Also I walk most evenings after work. My calendar is quite flexible. I will keep it updated. I live in apartment, so I do not have a yard but there is an in fenced park about a quarter mile away. Here there are walking paths.
“Despite being a “dog person,” Tilan did amazing at watching my cat! She repeatedly checked in with me and supplied plenty of pictures of my fur baby. Thanks Tilan!”
