“We were visiting for my birthday and wanted to go out but didn't want to leave our babies alone and there were many that weren't available but Akeeme came thru when I needed someone. My baby boy normally gives men a hard time but he did really well with him and I really appreciate it! If I'm ever in town again I will use him again and I'd recommend him to anyone visiting!”

“Great stay with Richard and Samma B. They took good care of the dogs for the day we brought them over! They were also very responsive and included lots of pictures.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog babysitter! She was able to take my dog last minute, which helped me out so much, and from the start I felt completely at ease. She treated him so well and clearly cared about him like he was her own. She kept me updated with pictures and communicated consistently, which I really appreciated. It made such a difference knowing he was safe, happy, and in good hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. I would definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in middle school. Dogs always seem to love me and, even in my household growing up, I was always their favorite and who they depended on. I’m 6 foot and muscular so I’m especially good with big dogs but also love small ones. I’ve probably watched pit mixes the most though. All in all, your dog is in good hands. I have plenty of free time as I work on my own schedule. I give my own dog multiple walks and time for attention that a regular 9-5 wouldn’t permit. I have a small dog to keep your dog company. She doesn’t bite or bark. I stay on the backside of my apartment and the first floor so if they’re ever over, it’s quick and easy to take them out to use the restroom.
About: I grew up with a sweet dachshund and have been a dog-lover ever since! Andrew and I both work from home full time, and that makes us the go-to pet sitter for neighbors and friends. We’ve had experience with both active dogs and those that might need a little more care and patience. We love having a new friend around to keep us company! We both work fully remote jobs and therefore can give your fur-baby all the attention they may need! We always aim to go out at least 4 times a day, but can adhere to your pet’s specific schedule. We offer flexible boarding availability throughout the week and weekends. For any weekend bookings, we do ask that your pet be comfortable being alone for at least a couple of hours since there may be instances where we will be out of the house running errands. While we don’t currently have any pets of our own, our pet-friendly apartment will cater to your furry friend’s comfort. We live on the Beltline making it the perfect setting for long walks or quick potty breaks. We’re more than happy to accommodate your pet’s needs, whether it is crating them or something else.
“Mikyah has been so great! My pup is sweet but he suffers from separation anxiety. She’s been helping him adjust to my new rto schedule with such patience and grace! As the weeks have gone by he’s been feeling more comfortable and I’m glad I can trust my pup with such a great sitter!”

“My dog is always happy and tired after going to stay with Hope, and very happy to arrive. Hope is very fast to respond to messages and always sends photos. The yard is amazing!”

“Lori was wonderful at caring for our fur babies while we visited the Aquarium. This was our first experience leaving then with someone they weren't familiar with, and it went great. She was very good with sending updates and pictures. You could tell they got plenty of attention and we're very comfortable with Lori.”

“Deanna was amazing! She took such good care of our sweet girl. Even when I picked Izzy up, she was belly flopping for Deanna. It's clear that Izzy felt safe and cared for. I also really appreciated the updates on how Izzy was getting along with the other dogs. 💜”

“Tevin provided superb care for my 9-month-old puppy over the holiday. During our initial meet & greet on the Beltline, he also demonstrated great skill in teaching my puppy how to walk, rather than pull, on a leash and to remain focused in a very overstimulating environment. I would absolutely recommend Tevin as a sitter and trainer for your dog. I look forward to working with him more in the future.”

About: Hi, my name is Enni and I have been working with dogs and cats for about 12 years. It is a true passion of mine to work with pets. I love them and they love and trust me a great deal. I have tons of experience with people and dogs. Drop your baby off, or I would be more than happy to pick them up to take them to their home away from home filled with love. I have experience as a Kennel Tech for over 6 years. I worked as a room attendant at a Veterinarian clinic and a Veterinarian Assistant. I am also an Professional Pet Stylist. I had pets since the age of 5 years old. Animals are my life! My love for them runs deep.
“We used her twice during our vacation in Atlanta. Our dog couldn't have been happier. She also sent super cute pictures of her cat and our dog together! My dog has met other cats, but we don't have one so it was fun to see that she got along well. Coming from out of town it was just so relieving to have someone that could take our dog to a strange location and my dog seemed to feel so comfortable. I can't recommend her enough.”

“Luis took great care of our 2 fur babies. We felt safe and assured with his care of them. He sent videos and pictures throughout their day care. Highly recommend him as your dog sitter.”

About: My husband and I are experienced dog owners in a multi-dog household, including both senior and high-energy dogs. We are calm, attentive, and intentional in our care, which helps dogs feel safe and settled quickly. We focus on structure, routine, and understanding each dog’s unique needs — not just supervision. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your dog is cared for as if they were my own. We intentionally limit the number of dogs we care for so each one receives personalized, thoughtful attention. Caring for dogs is already a natural part of our daily life. We live in a structured, dog-centered household and plan our days around consistent routines for walks, meals, playtime, and rest. I’m home regularly and attentive throughout the day, which allows us to provide hands-on care rather than leaving dogs unattended for long stretches. On a weekly basis, we maintain predictable rhythms that help dogs feel secure: consistent schedules, familiar routes, and clear expectations. Because this routine is already established with my own dogs, integrating additional dogs feels seamless rather than disruptive. We have a large fenced yard where your dogs can play either alone or with my pups. We have both younger, high energy dogs and a senior dog, so we can tailor the right fit with your pup. We live in a quiet neighborhood near two parks if your dogs prefer walks. We can administer medications and tend to minor medical issues like stitches/Elizabethan collars.
About: I’ve always been someone friends, neighbors, and family could trust with their pets. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to each animal’s personality and needs. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, administering basic care, or simply keeping pets company, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and energy levels, and I treat every pet with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and companionship during weekdays and weekends. Because I’m home most of the time, pets won’t be left alone for long periods and can maintain a consistent routine while in my care. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed. Since I work from home, I’m able to give pets consistent attention, supervision, walks, playtime, and care throughout the day. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, routines, and preferences to help pets feel secure while they’re away. I make communication a priority by providing updates and photos.
“Tomomi and her dog Cooper are so great with my dog Luna! I appreciate the flexibility and ability to accommodate last minute requests. And it’s not to not have to worry about my sweet girl because I know she is taken care of!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Atlanta
Danielle was such a ray of light! We were on a road trip and wanted to spend the afternoon at the Georgia Aquarium. Since Danielle lives so close, she watched our pup, Libby, while we explored. She was wonderful with communication, flexible, and incredibly accommodating. She kept us updated with lots of photos and even sent a video of Libby having a great time. It gave us such peace of mind knowing she was in such caring hands. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Danielle again. Highly recommend!

Olivia was awesome. I was nervous dropping off Murmaid but Olivia put my mind at ease. She was accommodating, kind and confident. She sent pictures updating the activities during the day. It was a plus that Murmaid had fun playing with Olivia’s dog, Bagel. It was an overall great experience for me and Murmaid. It was our first Rover experience. I highly recommend Olivia! I will book her again when in the area.

These guys are top notch! Clearly knowledgeable and understands dog behavior. Very laidback, easy people to deal with (which is nice nowadays) and had great communication. Seeing all the pictures of Pumpkin enjoying the company of other dogs was very nice. 10/10

Serendipity was great! This was the first time we have used her for doggy daycare for our dog Daisy. She sent lots of pictures and updates to let us know how Daisy was doing. She also responded quickly to any text I sent. I felt like Daisy was in great hands, and we will definitely be booking with Serendipity again! Highly recommend!

Patricia was super accommodating and caring to Cheddar We were in a pinch to find a sitter at the last minute and Patricia helped us. She loves doggies and kept us informed on how Cheddar was doing thru out the day and evening. Cheddar gives her 5 paws ! (5 out of 5). I highly recommend Patricia.

We needed a last-minute dog sitter, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and kind from the start. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pet was in such good hands. She took great care of our pet and treated it like her own. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Atlanta commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
