Our dog June, who passed away recently from cancer, was medically complex with epilepsy, so we have plenty of experience administering medication to even the most stubborn of dogs. About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and have a deep love for both dogs and cats. I’ve owned four dogs over the years and currently have three rescue pups of my own—including one foster “fail” (lesson learned: don’t foster puppies 😊). I’ve taken basic dog training classes and have worked with trainers over the years, so I’m comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels, and behaviors. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal like they’re my own—with patience, care, and lots of love. I have volunteered at animal shelters and have fostered many dogs over the years. I've learned a lot about dog behavior through that experience. I have given cats and dogs oral medication and have administered insulin shots to dogs. I require at least a week notice for all NEW client boarding and doggy daycare requests to allow for a meet and greet. I also require proof of current DHPP, Rabies and Bordatella vaccines before booking anyone. Please send those records with your request. Thanks! **during the fall semester (Aug 24-Dec 13), I am on campus for 8 hours on Tuesday and Thursday. Those days dogs get a 15 min break midday while I am away from my dog sitter. I work from home most of the time. I am usually not away from home for more than 4 hours. During the fall semester, I am away on T/R for about 8 hours a day. I have a large fenced yard and 3 dogs at home. Two of my dogs are seniors and one is almost 3 years old with lots of playful energy. I also have a large finished attic space that I use for doggy play, especially when it's super hot/cold outside.

I’m home regularly and attentive throughout the day, which allows us to provide hands-on care rather than leaving dogs unattended for long stretches. On a weekly basis, we maintain predictable rhythms that help dogs feel secure: consistent schedules, familiar routes, and clear expectations. Because this routine is already established with my own dogs, integrating additional dogs feels seamless rather than disruptive. We have a large fenced yard where your dogs can play either alone or with my pups. We have both younger, high energy dogs and a senior dog, so we can tailor the right fit with your pup. We live in a quiet neighborhood near two parks if your dogs prefer walks. We can administer medications and tend to minor medical issues like stitches/Elizabethan collars.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for the past 10 years. I treat them like family and have my own son Yorkie who I spoil I currently work from home and love to love on pups in between work sessions to break the monotony of it. I take them for two walks and to the dog park while playing throughout the day. I stay in an apartment but do not take dogs outside without their lease. Only time they will be outside the home off the lease will be at a fenced dog park.
