About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and have a deep love for both dogs and cats. I’ve owned four dogs over the years and currently have three rescue pups of my own—including one foster “fail” (lesson learned: don’t foster puppies 😊). I’ve taken basic dog training classes and have worked with trainers over the years, so I’m comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels, and behaviors. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal like they’re my own—with patience, care, and lots of love. I have volunteered at animal shelters and have fostered many dogs over the years. I've learned a lot about dog behavior through that experience. I have given cats and dogs oral medication and have administered insulin shots to dogs. I require at least a week notice for all NEW client boarding and doggy daycare requests to allow for a meet and greet. I also require proof of current DHPP, Rabies and Bordatella vaccines before booking anyone. Please send those records with your request. Thanks! **during the fall semester (Aug 24-Dec 13), I am on campus for 8 hours on Tuesday and Thursday. Those days dogs get a 15 min break midday while I am away from my dog sitter. I work from home most of the time. I am usually not away from home for more than 4 hours. During the fall semester, I am away on T/R for about 8 hours a day. I have a large fenced yard and 3 dogs at home. Two of my dogs are seniors and one is almost 3 years old with lots of playful energy. I also have a large finished attic space that I use for doggy play, especially when it's super hot/cold outside.

About: I have had a love for animals my whole life! I am very experienced with what is needed to make your babies feel loved + cared for! I am available to board anytime during the week and weekends! I will be available for early morning or late evenings pick up and drop offs + being home during the day so your animals have that quality time! I have multiple dog parks and a Shitzu Poodle to keep your animals company! Also, I allow animals to freely roam but if a crate is needed, I have one myself!

“Michelle was wonderful with a Justice! Almost within minutes of leaving justice with her, she was already updating me, sending photos and videos, showing him having fun with his new friends. I could tell he was very comfortable in her home When justice had a reaction to some medication and got sick, she immediately reached out and then took exceptional care of him, making sure he was drinking water and eating until I could come get him. I felt very calm, knowing that she was taking good care of him until I could get back. Michelle was so sweet about looking out for him and she even reached out several times after we left to make sure Justice was doing better. It is so clear how much she cares for all the pets she takes care of. I look forward to giving justice a chance to go visit her again under better circumstances. About: I have been a dog groomer for 6 years. I worked out of Lynchburg, VA’s #1 dog salon. I provided grooming classes and puppy training (learn name, sit, stay, come, off leash, and potty training), on site as well. I have two toy dogs myself and have raised their 3 puppies and found loving homes for them all. One of which I get to see every time I visit grandma. I was trained in first aid for dogs. Week days I provide walks, boarding and dog grooming at my location. Weekends I provide in client’s home care, dog walking, and mobile grooming. Available most hours The dogs are free to room the house and I can also section them off with gates or kennels. Can play with mine or kept separate. Prefer medium (20lbs) and under in home. I have access to multiple dog parks in walking distance. Any size dog is fine for watching them at clients home. Dogs only go outside with secure leash and harness (is a must for adult and larger dogs). Cameras on property.
