About: I have been a dog groomer for 6 years. I worked out of Lynchburg, VA’s #1 dog salon. I provided grooming classes and puppy training (learn name, sit, stay, come, off leash, and potty training), on site as well. I have two toy dogs myself and have raised their 3 puppies and found loving homes for them all. One of which I get to see every time I visit grandma. I was trained in first aid for dogs. Week days I provide walks, boarding and dog grooming at my location. Weekends I provide in client’s home care, dog walking, and mobile grooming. About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and have a deep love for both dogs and cats. I’ve owned four dogs over the years and currently have three rescue pups of my own—including one foster “fail” (lesson learned: don’t foster puppies 😊). I’ve taken basic dog training classes and have worked with trainers over the years, so I’m comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels, and behaviors. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal like they’re my own—with patience, care, and lots of love. I have volunteered at animal shelters and have fostered many dogs over the years. I've learned a lot about dog behavior through that experience. I have given cats and dogs oral medication and have administered insulin shots to dogs. I require at least a week notice for all NEW client boarding and doggy daycare requests to allow for a meet and greet. I also require proof of current DHPP, Rabies and Bordatella vaccines before booking anyone. Please send those records with your request. Thanks! **during the fall semester (Aug 24-Dec 13), I am on campus for 8 hours on Tuesday and Thursday. Those days dogs get a 15 min break midday while I am away from my dog sitter. I work from home most of the time. I am usually not away from home for more than 4 hours. During the fall semester, I am away on T/R for about 8 hours a day. I have a large fenced yard and 3 dogs at home. Two of my dogs are seniors and one is almost 3 years old with lots of playful energy. I also have a large finished attic space that I use for doggy play, especially when it's super hot/cold outside.

She gets to hang with all of her friends, have her daily routine, sit on the couch and get all the attention needed so that the separation doesn’t get to her. About: I’ve cared for pets for many of my friends and family over the years, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds. I’m patient, dependable, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’ll also be adopting a dog soon, so caring for your pet is a great opportunity for me to continue gaining hands-on experience while providing them with the love, attention, and care they deserve. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and I’m off weekends so I have four days to watch pets uninterrupted but I am flexible to do weekdays if folks don’t mind the dog roaming the house while I’m out I have a yard and live in a large gated community so I can walk dogs with no issue and I live across the street from west side park so they have plenty of space to roam.
