“Ilaria walked Donut twice this week, and I would happily book her again in the future. She arrived on time, walked Donut for a full 30 min, and I came home to a happy dog. Thanks, Ilaria!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every dog as if they were my own. I grew up with dogs, so being around them comes naturally to me, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. I also regularly care for my nephew (a high-energy Goldendoodle) and my niece (a small Papillon), so I’m comfortable handling both larger, active dogs and smaller breeds with different needs and personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and adaptable—whether your dog needs lots of playtime, structured routines, or a calm, gentle approach. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I work full-time, but I’m available after 5 PM on weekdays and fully available on weekends. I also work from home occasionally, which gives me extra flexibility for daytime care and check-ins. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine in their own home. I follow all instructions closely—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care—while giving them plenty of attention and affection. I adapt to each pet’s needs, whether they’re high-energy and need exercise or prefer a calm, relaxed visit.
“Lauren has been amazing with my dog, Chrissy! She is always reliable, on time, and spends quality time with her during every visit. Chrissy absolutely loves her, which says everything. Lauren has also gone above and beyond, helping me out with last-minute house sitting and always being incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. She’s communicative, dependable, and someone I completely trust with my dog. I couldn’t recommend her more for dog walking or pet sitting!”

“Robert & Alex were great! Super easy communication, met with Robert before we left and he is very nice. He took great care of our Pups Dollyann & Winston while we were away. We did not have a worry about either dogs while on vacation and I guess that’s all you can really ask for. I would recommend and will be hiring Robert and Alex in the future! Thanks again guys.”
“Thank you for walking him! I loved all the pics you provided as well. It’s not you! we’ve been working on the potty outside but he’s on his own agenda lol i appreciate it! let’s try again tomorrow if you’re free? same time?”

“Luke did a great job with Lucy! He was communicative, punctual, and super kind. Lucy clearly loved him, which means the world to me. I really appreciated the photos, and I’ll definitely be rebooking. Highly recommend!”

About: New to Rover, but not to dogs! I have 14 years of experience caring for dogs: from raising my beloved Pinscher Coco to years of dog sitting and boarding dogs of all breeds and sizes. Sadly, I recently had to say goodbye to my baby and I’d love to share that same care, attention and love I gave her with your dog. ❤️🌈 I’m European and offer what I like to call a “European-style dog-sitting experience”: • One dog at a time. I only accept one dog (or dogs from the same household) at a time, so your dog gets my full attention and is cared for as if they were my own. • Plenty of proper walks. Two lengthy walks of at least 1hr each per day, usually in the park or on the Beltline, plus regular potty breaks. I will NOT go to dog parks until I know your dog very well- your pets safety always comes first. (Of course, everything is adjusted to your dog’s age, health and energy level) • Mental enrichment. Brain-stimulation toys, snuffle mats, treat puzzles, lick mats, playtime and other activities based on what your dog enjoys. • I work from home. I’ll be with your dog throughout their stay, with plenty of company, attention, cuddles, playtime and supervision. • Peace of mind for you. You’ll receive regular photos and updates throughout their stay, so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. • Just bring your dog! I provide everything needed for a comfortable stay: a spacious kennel, food & water bowls, toys, enrichment activities and treats, plus basic kibble if ever needed in a pinch. You’re of course always welcome to bring their favorite bed or toys from home; I just ask that you provide their usual food to keep their routine and diet consistent. I pride myself on offering a true dog retreat. Fair warning: your dog might not want to come home! 🐾😂 I work from home and am home about 90% of the time, which means your dog will have plenty of company, walks, playtime and attention throughout the day. I do occasionally step out for errands, groceries or a workout class. During those times, as well as overnight, your dog will be safely kenneled. For this reason, I can only accept dogs who are fully crate-trained and comfortable settling in their crate. I take this job incredibly serious. I know that for many of us, our dogs aren’t “just pets” - they’re family and often quite literally our babies 🐶❤️ I am First Aid/CPR certified and own a dog first aid kit. After every boarding visit I thoroughly clean and sanitize the space and toys with non-toxic cleaning supplies. Your pups safety, comfort and happiness always come first!
“For anyone who has a older dog, please book with Michael. He is the best!! His level of care snd detail to your dog will make you feel great knowing they are in good hands.”

“Cori is great! Very reliable, super friendly, and was very patient with our anxious dog. She was adaptable to whatever we needed. Highly recommend and plan to use her services again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Atlanta
Lauren has been fantastic with Marv! He’s a reactive GSD with a food allergies, so not everyone’s cup of tea. She has been fantastic as I’ve had to text her book-long texts about his health or reactivity updates. She’s on time, consistent, and communicative. Highly recommend. Thanks Lauren!

Jewel is the sweetest! Not only do my doggies love her, but she is communicative, professional, timely, and has great experience and understands dogs. On top of all that, she takes the best pictures while they’re on their walks. We’re probably going to frame a few 😁

Mary walked Donut three times this week and did an excellent job. Donut had previously had a bad experience with a different walker and was feeling wary around new people, but Mary was gentle with her and helped Donut build back her trust 😄 I'd happily book with Mary again in the future.

Nathan came through for me at the very last minute and gave my babygirl what she needed. After losing another pet just days before I really needed someone flexible, trustworthy, and kind. Nathan was just that. I lucked up and he definitely made this transition a bit easier.

Mikyah was absolutely amazing! This was my first time using Rover, and she completely exceeded my expectations. She was punctual, professional, and took such wonderful care of my Golden Retriever, Windsor. She followed every instruction perfectly, made sure Windsor got a great walk, and treated her with so much love and kindness. It gave me such peace of mind knowing Windsor was in caring, capable hands while I was away. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and it was clear that Mikyah genuinely loves animals. I came home to a happy, relaxed pup, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Mikyah to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and compassionate dog walker. I will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you, Mikyah, for taking such great care of my sweet Windsor! 🐾❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
