“Daniela is awesome! She and her dog, Rocky, are so much fun for my high-energy pup. We needed to find a regular sitter during the day after I returned to the office full-time, and it's so nice having peace of mind that she is well taken care of. Maple comes home tired and happy!”

“Kim was great! She met Jax with open arms. Showed me and Jax around which helped me feel comfortable. Jax had a great time. She communicates in a timely manner and sent videos and kept me updated. My dog will be back for sure!”

“Stacey is such a blessing! She is so patient with our shy pup and has taken extra effort to make her feel at home away from home. We bring our dog to her place regularly for doggie day care and she loves playing fetch in their big yard. Communication is always prompt and she sends lots of pictures each day. Highly recommend!!”

“Hannah was so great and worked with us on timing of everything. Our pup enjoyed her stay and we hope to use Hannah's services in the future when we are back in the area. We were glad to see photos while we were gone to assure us she was doing well.”

About: My goal is simple: to provide a safe, loving, home-away-from-home where your dog feels happy, comfortable, and cared for every step of the day. As a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom for over 17 years, I provide a boutique in-home daycare experience where every pup is treated like family. I keep a small number of dogs to ensure personalized attention, a calm, clean, and loving environment, and plenty of supervised play, walks, enrichment activities, and cuddle time. I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs who need a little extra patience and gentle care, including those with vision or mobility changes. Every day includes interactive play, mental stimulation, potty and meal routines, and daily photo and activity updates, so you’ll always know how your furry family member is doing. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide attentive, personalized care throughout the day. Caring for dogs is my priority, so your furry family member will receive plenty of supervision, playtime, affection, and companionship in a loving home environment. Your pup will enjoy a safe, clean, and loving home with plenty of supervised playtime, scheduled walks, potty breaks, and lots of affection. I also have access to two on-site pet parks for exercise and socialization. Crate accommodations are available for puppies or dogs who are crate-trained or require quiet time. My friendly 1½-year-old Yorkie-Maltese, loves making new furry friends and helps create a fun, welcoming environment for every guest.
“Anita took wonderful care of my chihuahua. She’s a complicated puppy due to a bad past but the second I met Anita, I knew she had a very calm and welcoming energy that would be perfect for my doggy. She sent pictures and videos. She took my girl out for a car ride and walked her! Thank you Anita! I absolutely hate not being able to bring my dog, but you eased my anxiety. Would definitely recommend you!”

I have experience with dog training and can easily implement tricks for all temperaments and breeds. The only thing you would have to worry about is your pet not wanting to go back home because they have such a great time with us 😊
“Christine took care of Kimi and made us feel assured that our little pup was being cared for by sending us plenty of photos. Would definitely recommend Christine's services and would be our first choice if ever we find ourselves in Atlanta again.”

“Andrea was wonderful with Ellie. Plenty of pictures, very communicative, and adaptable in meeting Ellie's needs. She worked seamlessly with my schedule, and had food solutions available when I spaced on it. Thanks for a great, convenient experience.”

“I work from home, but needed someone to watch my sweet boy Ollie while I had a few in office meetings. Paizley responded to my request for her daycare services and answered my questions that I had prior to booking. I will definitely use her again in the near future.”

“The moment I met Yorlene and her husband, I knew my dog Pepper would be in good hands. She's very flexible and her house has a great atmosphere. My fur baby definitely enjoyed her stay! Not only did I get plenty of pictures, but the updates she sent were extremely detailed and personable. I highly recommend her!”
“Norma & Luke’s home was a perfect fit for Milli. She made herself at home upon our initial meet & greet, so I scheduled a playdate a couple of days later and she got along great with the other fur friends that were there. They sent pictures and updates of her during the stay. We will definitely schedule future daycare stays.”

“Nicki did an AMAZING job watching our Lulu. This was our first time using Rover so I was hesitant at first, but Nicki took great care of our girl and sent me frequent videos so I could see how she was doing. Lulu is an energetic one-year Golden Retriever so she can be handful at times, but Nicki played with her and loved her well. I'll definitely be using her services again. Thanks, Nicki! :)”
“Nicholas was a great doggy day care sitter! He said our pup and his dog got along well and Nicholas even took her out for 2 walks within the 4ish hours that she was dog sat, he goes above and beyond!!”

About: We have had family dogs since I was too young to remember, and I have had my own for 8 years. I’m very active and keep up with high energy dogs too. Currently have a small dog but have had big dogs in the past and can deal with lots of different pet personalities. I work from home most of the time, so I have lots of extra time and flexibility to care for pets. I sometimes travel but will update my schedule if that’s the case. On weekdays, I have a lot more flexibility after work hours, I can sometimes do during the day on weekdays depending on the particular day/week. My schedule is a bit irregular, so if you are looking for someone to be on a set schedule the same time week after week, I might not be the right person. I have a fenced in back yard and I have a small dog as well. If doing drop in visits I can accommodate any requests!
The median cost per day for doggy day care in Smyrna is $35

I’m a travel nurse and have used many different sitters. I admit that I’m pretty picky when it comes to my dogs care. Christine is hands down the best sitter I’ve ever used! She went above and beyond with my dog, and I felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. You can tell she really loves these pups like they are her own. I recommend her 1000%.

My sweet girl absolutely adores Kayla. Misty goes to doggie daycare with her 2–3 times a week while we’re at work, and it has been the biggest blessing for both of us. As a puppy mom, leaving such a young puppy with someone new can feel really scary, but Kayla immediately made me feel completely safe and comfortable. You can tell she truly loves and cares for the dogs she watches, and that means everything. I love the pictures she sends throughout the day … she’s seriously the best puppy photographer! Getting those updates while I’m at work always makes my day and reassures me that Misty is happy and having fun. Even though Misty can’t quite touch the ground yet, Kayla still makes sure she gets safe outside time and plenty of attention and love. Misty gets so excited for her “Kayla time,” and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing she’s with someone we trust so much. Finding someone who treats your puppy like their own is truly priceless, and we feel so lucky to have found Kayla. Thank you for loving and taking such amazing care of our sweet girl. 🫶🏼

Houston was amazing with my fur babies. He took a last minute reservation. We were travelling and my pups were having a hard time being in the car and then in a hotel room. He kept me updated with many pictures and videos. They got to spend alot of time outside which was much needed for them after their travels. He even offered to give them baths for a small fee. I highly recommend Houston. Both my pups were tired out from all the fun with him and his pup when I picked them up.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
