About: About Me Hi! I’m Nina 🐾 I’ve been around dogs my entire life and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Growing up, my family adopted and cared for several rescue dogs of all different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, including Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Lab mixes, and Shih Tzus. That experience taught me how important patience, consistency, and individualized care are for every pet. Today, I’m a proud dog mom to my mini long-haired dachshund, Nemo, who completely stole my heart 💛 Caring for him has made me even more attentive to the little things that matter to pet parents — keeping routines consistent, providing lots of affection and supervision, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Outside of Rover, I work in professional services within the tech industry, so I’m very organized, dependable, and communicative. I also work a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to spend quality time with the pets in my care throughout the day instead of leaving them alone for long periods. My goal is always to create a calm, loving environment where your pet feels at home and where you feel confident knowing they’re being treated like family 🐶 ⸻ Experience • 10+ years of hands-on pet care experience • Experienced with rescue dogs and different temperaments • Cared for breeds including Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Lab mixes, Shih Tzus, and Dachshunds • Comfortable with puppies, small dogs, and senior dogs • Experience maintaining feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty routines, and medication instructions • Frequent photo and video updates for pet parents 📸 • Calm, patient, and attentive approach to care • Flexible hybrid work schedule allows for consistent supervision and companionship You can trust that your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, and personalized care while they’re with me 🐾 I work a flexible hybrid schedule in professional services, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding, and I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, playtime, supervision, and updates. I’m especially attentive to keeping pets on their normal routines so they feel safe, comfortable, and at home while you’re away. Your dog will be as spoiled as mine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I live in a clean, pet-friendly townhome and have experience caring for small dogs and puppies, including my mini dachshund, Nemo 🐾 I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and any preferences you provide. I always prioritize secure walks, supervised playtime, and a calm environment where pets can feel relaxed and loved. I also provide frequent photo and video updates so you can feel confident your pet is in great hands.
“Karen and her husband were the best!! They treated Ganon like one of their own and sent numerous photos and videos where I could see Ganon having a great time! He was very happy when I went to pick him up too! Drop off and pick up was a breeze and they communicated everyday with updates. A++”

“Eduardo was great with Ronnie. He really loves animals and went above and beyond to take care of him. He’s also very accommodating with the logistics of drop off and pick up.”

“Aenalia did a great job watching our puppy. We had forgotten his “sleep over bag”, but Aenalia was extremely understanding and nice enough to get him food to hold him over. We’d highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Erin was great, gave us plenty of updates and pictures of Milo while we were away. Milo seemed to have a great time playing with the other dogs that were there and came back home happy as a clam. Would recommend - thanks!”

“Briana and Brandon were fantastic! They made sure to give our Latte plenty of play time and cuddles. They were very attentive and sent updates throughout the day. We cannot recommend them enough!”

“Lorraine and family were so great with Chloe they sent plenty of pics and videos to keep me updated even when we had a lil hiccup of me not sending enough pads Lorraine was able to fix it . I will be booking again !”

“Megan is awesome. She took such great care of my senior special needs cat Ginger. Her home is very calm and inviting which made my very anxious kitty feel immediately at home. I am so happy I found Megan. I highly recommend her and I will definitely use her again.”

“Amanda kept me up to date on Milo daily. She sent awesome photos. She has an amazing back yard that Milo loved. She was very detailed about Milos time with her. She is great with communication. She created a photo album of Milos photos for me to have. I did not worry about Milo I knew he was in great hands! Highly recommend Amanda!”

“Monize watched our 4 month old puppy, Draco, during our vacation. She has two older dogs of her own so I felt very comfortable leaving Draco on her care. She communicated with me daily and sent photos. We came home to a very happy and healthy puppy. We highly recommend Monize!!”

“Taco loves staying over at Kim’s place! He gets excited when we mention her dog’s names, Simba and Nala, and he always comes back happy and tired. Kim has a wonderful home for dogs and treats them like family. Kim always sends us videos of Taco getting plenty of play time. It’s so nice to have somewhere we feel at peace leaving Taco!”

“Parker seems to have enjoyed his stay. Ok the meet and greet, he loved their home, their pup Charlie, the lovely yard and most importantly Christine & Miller. He peered out the window when we were leaving because he didn’t want to go. Parker spent most of his time with Miller and Charlie, and they all seemed comfy. Miller got many cuddles from Parker, which is awesome to see, and I picked Parker up, he was happy but not relieved. You never want your pup to run out like, “oh God you’re here! Take me home now.” If I stayed and chatted, he probably would have relaxed and played with Charlie more. It was comforting to know my guy (a senior) was safe and happy during his visit.”

“Courtney is an amazing sitter! Nova loves her and she treated her like she was her own pet. She kept me up to date on Nova's activities and sent me tons of pictures because she knew how much I missed Nova. Courtney is such an amazing and nice person who truly cares for your pets as she does her own. I will be using her as Nova's permanent sitter!!”

“Bianca took exceptional care of Pancho. She kept me updated throughout the stay with photos and videos, which gave me real peace of mind. This was my first time leaving him overnight, and I truly appreciated not only her professionalism but also her kindness and support with me as an owner. That made a big difference. I’m very grateful for the level of care she provided, and I’ve already booked her again for my next trip. Highly recommended.”

“Candice is awesome! You can tell that she genuinely cares and she will put your mind at ease about your pet’s stay. She is very responsive and professional as well! 5/5 would absolutely book again!”
“Was willing to take my last minute booking. Easy pick up and drop off. Great communication. Sent pictures of the dogs playing and having a great time. Buzz has been napping on the couch since we got home yesterday, he had a lot of fun.”

Luke and Norma were absolutely amazing! They provided daily updates along with pictures, which gave me complete peace of mind and made me feel totally confident that my dog was well taken care of. I will definitely be using them again and again. If you’re looking for a dog sitter so you can travel without worrying about your fur baby, Norma and Luke are exactly who you want!

Bryce was very kind and a true doggie lover. I was super nervous about using a sitter as my 2 pups have only stayed with family or in my own home. Bryce did a meet and greet to lower my anxiety and assured me my babies would be fine in his care. Communication was awesome along with the daily pictures of them. I'll definitely will use "Uncle Bryce" again to watch Belle and Romeo, so Momma can travel.
This was our first time leaving our dog with anyone, and we were a little nervous but Marija was so responsive, patient, and knowledgeable! She went above and beyond to make our anxious dog feel safe and comfortable, and we are so grateful! We will absolutely look to book with her again if we ever need anyone to care for our dog again!
She did an amazing job with Sheru, my dog was difficult with her and she did the best she could with him ! You can clearly tell she loves dogs and treats them as they should be treated. With love ! 100% recommend her Frequently took him out, followed the feeding schedule, let him sleep with her which I told her was ok to do. Sent photos and videos of him multiple times through the stay as well. Quick with communication which is important. 10/10 recommend

You could not ask for a more compassionate and thoughtful soul to trust with your best friend. My dog unfortunately gave Imge a much more difficult time than I anticipated he would, but she was so thoughtful and positive through the entire experience. I’m not sure I could have expected another caretaker to be as patient and generous as she was with my senior boy acting out. Thanks again for everything.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
