“Coco left a very happy dog! I plan to utilize this family regularly. So happy my dog had kids and another dog to play with— not to mention a yard to play in. Thank you so much for the excellent service!”

“Eduardo was great with Ronnie. He really loves animals and went above and beyond to take care of him. He’s also very accommodating with the logistics of drop off and pick up.”

“Ansyl took incredible care of my dog! This was my first time being away from my dog for an extended period of time and using the Rover app but I will be booking Ansyl again! He assisted me with drop off and pick up as well and was incredibly accommodating and kind. He Even sent consistent updates and pictures to soothe my nerves being away from my pup for a few days! Thank you again! I will definitely be recommending him to anyone in need of a dog sitter!”

“Thank you for taking such good care of Winston and Piper! I think we have finally found our regular pet sitter, and I’m so relieved! We already have plans to rebook soon.”

“Parker seems to have enjoyed his stay. Ok the meet and greet, he loved their home, their pup Charlie, the lovely yard and most importantly Christine & Miller. He peered out the window when we were leaving because he didn’t want to go. Parker spent most of his time with Miller and Charlie, and they all seemed comfy. Miller got many cuddles from Parker, which is awesome to see, and I picked Parker up, he was happy but not relieved. You never want your pup to run out like, “oh God you’re here! Take me home now.” If I stayed and chatted, he probably would have relaxed and played with Charlie more. It was comforting to know my guy (a senior) was safe and happy during his visit.”
“This is the first time we have used River and Flavia was nothing short of exceptional. We usually have family members or neighbors take care of my babies but it wasn’t possible this time around. Flavia picked up my pups which was super helpful. She sent me videos of them to make sure I knew they were having fun. Flavia was understanding and willing to go the extra mile to make my pups feel at home. I will definitely be using Flavia again and I recommend her to anyone who is on the fence about using Rover to find a dog sitter! Thank you Flavia!”

“Ashley is always available and willing to take care of our dogs and we’ve been taking them to her for several trips at this point. They wag their tails as soon as we enter her neighborhood which is so comforting to us. She sends us pics and keeps us updated. She’s been great every time we’ve used her services and we hope to continue using her”

“Savannah is a wonderful sitter!!! She kept my fur baby over the Fourth of July holiday. I received a daily pup-date complete with a picture or video. She told me what my puppy did that day, who she slept with ( lol) and how well she was eating. It’s hard to leave your fur babies.. but Savannah certainly eased my separation anxiety!! I will absolutely use her again!!!”

“Was willing to take my last minute booking. Easy pick up and drop off. Great communication. Sent pictures of the dogs playing and having a great time. Buzz has been napping on the couch since we got home yesterday, he had a lot of fun.”

“Anita is just awesome! She takes very good care of Skye. She send the pictures and videos of Skye every day. My kids look forward for the messages from Anita when we are on our trip. Skye stays happy and healthy with her. Best pet sitter ever!”

“Julie is a FANTASTIC sitter and definitely worth considering for your pet. I had last minute modifications, and she was both timely and flexible to my needs! Nala loved hanging out with her dog and she even sent pictures of Nala at the park. I will definitely be looking to book her again! Thanks again for all of your help Julie 😊”

“Michele was absolutely amazing as our sitter. From the beginning, she was responsive, professional, and very kind. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away.”

“Natalie was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of our dogs while we were away and kept us updated the entire time with photos and messages. Her communication was excellent, and we always felt confident that our pups were in the best hands. I highly recommend Natalie to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive pet sitter!”

“Andy has become my go to sitter when Zeus needs overnight care. Andy communicates well and keeps me updated with regular pictures and comments. Zeus enjoys his time with Andy. Thanks Andy!”

“Kimberly is truly outstanding! She cared for both our dogs—elderly Sid and energetic young Tucker—with such skill and heart that we couldn’t be more grateful. Sid, our senior pup, needs a gentle touch and a predictable routine, and Kimberly handled him with incredible patience and compassion. She made sure he was comfortable, well-fed, and never rushed, which gave us total peace of mind. Tucker, on the other hand, is full of energy and curiosity, and Kimberly matched his enthusiasm with fun walks, playtime, and lots of affection. It’s rare to find someone who can adapt so seamlessly to two very different dogs, but Kimberly did it with ease. Her updates were thoughtful and reassuring, and it was clear from the photos that both Sid and Tucker felt safe and loved. We wholeheartedly recommend Kimberly to anyone looking for a sitter who’s not only reliable and professional, but also deeply caring. She’s a true dog whisperer!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Marietta
Bryce was very kind and a true doggie lover. I was super nervous about using a sitter as my 2 pups have only stayed with family or in my own home. Bryce did a meet and greet to lower my anxiety and assured me my babies would be fine in his care. Communication was awesome along with the daily pictures of them. I'll definitely will use "Uncle Bryce" again to watch Belle and Romeo, so Momma can travel.
Norma and Luke have watched our dog Osito twice now, once for 10 days and once for 4 days, and both times have been great. They are so kind and patient with our senior dog. They make sure he is comfortable and feels loved while we are away. They’re very communicative, sending updates and pictures multiple times a day. I recommend them as dog sitters without hesitation.

This was our first time leaving our dog with anyone, and we were a little nervous but Marija was so responsive, patient, and knowledgeable! She went above and beyond to make our anxious dog feel safe and comfortable, and we are so grateful! We will absolutely look to book with her again if we ever need anyone to care for our dog again!
She did an amazing job with Sheru, my dog was difficult with her and she did the best she could with him ! You can clearly tell she loves dogs and treats them as they should be treated. With love ! 100% recommend her Frequently took him out, followed the feeding schedule, let him sleep with her which I told her was ok to do. Sent photos and videos of him multiple times through the stay as well. Quick with communication which is important. 10/10 recommend

You could not ask for a more compassionate and thoughtful soul to trust with your best friend. My dog unfortunately gave Imge a much more difficult time than I anticipated he would, but she was so thoughtful and positive through the entire experience. I’m not sure I could have expected another caretaker to be as patient and generous as she was with my senior boy acting out. Thanks again for everything.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
