Marietta Dog Stay + Golden BFF
Hi! I’m based right by Marietta Square and offer a safe, loving home for your pup while you’re away. I have a fenced-in yard for playtime and my friendly golden retriever who loves having dog guests to keep them company. Your dog will get plenty of attention, walks around the neighborhood, and even the option for hikes if they’re more active. I also offer bath add-ons so they can come home clean and happy. I've always loved animals. My sweet golden retriever Fia and I are regulars at the Drafty Dane dog park and frequent visitors at dog friendly places. My dog is my life, and I'd love to give you some peace of mind that your dog will be well taken care of. I keep my bookings intentional so every dog gets lots of love, supervision, and a calm, comfortable environment. Whether your pup loves to play or just relax, they’ll be treated like part of the family here 🤍

Ratings and reviews
My dog Bambi loved her stay her Christin and her dog Fia! I can tell Bambi had a great time and was very happy staying there. I would recommend Christin to anyone!

Christin is who you want to watch your pets when you can't. She won't only watch them, she'll treat them like her own. She took care of my two goldens on top of her own pets. I was updated as often as requested and I wholly trusted her to keep them safe & loved.
Christin is an amazing sitter, and I can’t recommend her enough! She has a wonderful dog named Fia, who is just as friendly and awesome as she is. Christin has watched my dog, Titan, before, and he absolutely loved his time at her house—it’s clear she creates a safe, fun, and caring environment for the dogs she looks after. Whether you need someone for daycare or overnight stays, you can feel completely confident leaving your dog with Christin. She’s reliable, attentive, and truly cares about the dogs in her care. Titan can’t wait to go back!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. I work from home often and stay local to the Marietta area, so I’m able to be in and out regularly for potty breaks, playtime, and walks. I’m rarely away for extended periods (typically no more than a few hours at a time), and I prioritize being present and responsive while caring for pets. Your dog will have consistent supervision, a steady routine, and lots of attention while they’re here.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always aim to follow each owner’s preferences and routine as closely as possible, so your pet feels secure and at home. My home is very dog-friendly, with a fully fenced backyard for safe play and a spacious front deck where dogs love to relax and take in the surroundings. My own dog is friendly and well-socialized, and I’m mindful to ensure all interactions are safe and a good fit. Dogs are welcome on furniture unless you prefer otherwise—I’m happy to maintain whatever rules your pet is used to. I also have a background as a veterinary technician, so I’m comfortable recognizing basic health concerns and responding appropriately if needed. Overall, I provide a clean, calm, and welcoming environment where your dog will be safe, cared for, and treated like part of the family.

A typical day
A typical day here is relaxed, structured, and centered around the dogs’ needs. Mornings usually start with a potty break and some outdoor time in the fenced yard, followed by breakfast and a little downtime. Throughout the day, I’m in and out, so dogs get regular potty breaks, playtime, and attention. Fia (my golden) loves to play fetch and keeps things fun for more social dogs, while calmer pups can relax inside or enjoy time on the deck. Afternoons often include a walk around the neighborhood or extra yard time, depending on each dog’s energy level. Late afternoon/early evening, you can find us at the Drafty Dane or walking around the Marietta Square. Evenings are calm and cozy—dinner, hanging out, and plenty of attention before settling in for the night. I keep things flexible so I can match your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, whether they’re active and playful or more laid-back and cuddly.
